  1. pura vida! impressive use of LDD. sad to say that your ship has a lot of pieces in colors that doesn't match, But you can customize it (paint lego shoud be the last option). I hope you can made it!
  2. hoy he encontrado dos ticos jajaja

  3. If you used this boat, can I use this to sink the IFS? now, get serius forget all the magical chit chatting of vodoo and zombies and disney animatronics... facts: In Lego, there are three kind of ships: - Greats: Black Seas Barracuda, Brickbeard's Bounty, Skull's Eye Schooner, Red beard Runner, the black pearl and Queen Anne's Revange you will need at least two of this to fight the IFS, acording the number of cannons, sails and size - middles: Carribean Clipper, imperial flagship and armada flagship you will need at least three of this (of only have armadas, you need four to do something) * one great an two middle could bring battle - shorts: Renegade runner and crossbone clipper ou will need a lot of courage, stomach, balls, and suicidal instincts to try something. according size, sails and cannons, you need mor than five... if you have more than five "shorts" ships, sent it to the dock, and then make one bigger
  4. my commet is simple... oH yeah! I do!!!
  5. agree, I remember that in 1989, this minifig was a success for the lot of unique pieces that could have a single minifig (epaulets, backpack, shako and the musket, the first fire weapon on lego)
  6. I bet you were working long hours on such beautiful project, congratulations, is a magnificent ship
  7. I like that! Thanks, It's an honor I see what you did there!
  8. thanks! This basplate came in the set 7047: Coast Guard HQ, but seem to be more useful for pirates than the original, if you look over Eruobricks, there is a lot of posts with this baseplate
  9. there are nine ships, sailing on my room - Black Sea Barracuda - Brickbeard's Bounty - Renagade Runner - Imperial Flagship - Caribbean Clipper - Armada Flagship - The Imperial Flagship - Two custimized
  10. In one way or another, we know of the war between Redcoats and Bluecoats, basically generated by the difference in the color of their shirts. But what if we impose another difference, something only each may have. the old minifig face doesn´t have pupils, but all the new (even the new redcoats) have it, so, I think that it is a "genetic" mark the tricky part are the old Redcoats, so I suggest something: due to the small number of designs that the Armada has, I suggest use the old redcoat uniforms: that's because the Armada could use a blue/white sail and a redcoat (with a bluecoat pattern) would you change your troops faces according the aged (design)?
  11. [pid][/pid]197.C/D hi everyone! I have moved away from this forum without meaning for many reasons, but I've paid attention and inadvertently I've become a lurker I congratulate all those who have made so many good creations and would like to share with you these two creations without further delay, the fortress and port of the bluecoats: ------------- The Stronghold ------------- front view: The crane: *sitting in the desk, the bluecoat lider inside the fort: upper view: pro: - 6 cannons to defend the port - few soldiers needed to defend it cons: - no jail... I haven´t room , but you can hang the scum immediately - short port, safer, but it is disproportionate when a ship arrives ------------- The Port ------------- busy street: fresh fish for everyone: upper view: pro: - lot of action in a small area - bigger and taller port cons: - the baseplate is relatively small - no room for stairs to the second and third floor The Bluecoat stronghold ------------------- bonus ------------------- The blue fleet The Black Knight & The Caribbean Clipper The Carribean Clipper changes: - More Cannons (4) - Lifeboat And Better Crew: The Black Knight a stolen and modified redcoat "imperial flagship" before being commissioned to Admiral Broadside and his crew ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ the blue fleet arrives! hope you liked
  12. small and totally effective! great MOC HeLena ........."Jean-Paul Leroy is a misterious man, ...........who hide his face but not his art .................with pasion and colors ..................his dream he follows ...............her friend is HeLena .................who with patience ...........turn his room into the light" .........................
  13. I just wonder... how many pieces?
  14. hey, great ship Bjornu! first one! wow !, great technic and shape now, you just need the sails I read paper in some place, I propose that you should use some kind of cloth, like blanket (cheap and good looking on any ship) good luke with that!
  15. 1º my camera died long ago, this was picture made with my cellphone, thats one of the reason why I´m short of post lately 2º ..."Barbossa"... I know that it's a character name, but it´s a spanish name after all, and when you say it on spanish, it change the feeling. when you write "Barbossa" instead of Barboza, Its like say "Juan Gorrión" instead of Jack Sparrow... horrible! (hey!, "horrible" it´s really the same in spanish than english ) 3º And about if he is captain or admiral.... I have to say, I HATE the POTC movies, and the classic lego pirates that I always love since I was a kid were stoped just to bring this franchise from all POTC minifigs, Barboza is the one that has less flesh (white gloves and no flesh in the torso) after I took those pictures, I ripped the fleshy head and immediately replace it, as a Bluecoat commander. if by chance I come across with more fleshy, their hands will become in my monkey legs, and I assure you if the Lego will finish as a disney franchise, (poor quality and short of imagination ), I will not regret to back to my dark age and finish my colection as I have it now
  16. Hi mwolfpack welcome back from the dark age! About your question, if you keep the fleshy, you have to use some minifigs from licenced topics, like Harry Potter, Star Wars and Prince of Persia. You can use some old pirates torsos with fleshy head and hands (avoid the yellow ones). try the Bespin guard torso, the Han Solo torso or the rebel trooper torso from Star Wars from Harry Potter, Fenrir Greyback, Snape torso, and almost all from Prince of Persia good luck, and when you finish, put some pictures
  17. very good ship, it looks that you really work hard on it, congrats
  18. yep, Barboza is my first "Fleshy" I the design of the torso, the new bicorne and the new scabbard, the best of the new POTC
  19. correct me if I'm wrong, but this weapon is a kind of roman scorpion. and by the way, welcome back from your dark age
  20. great idea. remember that the compound bow is for long distance so, you made a pre-artillery units, great
  21. mmm soft plastic, really don't please me. how would you rate (those who have the set) those weapons? deserve a change of my mind? thanks
  22. the beginning of Catwoman! sexy thief
  23. another great MOC, Bjornu The cave its great, it is the prefect hiding place of the pirates What I like is the texture and the use of colors, in addition to the details (the card game, the spider web, and the and once fallen spanish comrade )
  24. fully deserved great MOC... three months building wow!
