Skirmisher-awarding quest probably won't happen until the summer. I don't want anyone else awarding it because I'm not done working on the Lion NPCs who would be sufficiently high enough in rank to award it. Plus we had three long Lion Knight quests already, so I've taken a break from that storyline.

Heroica RPG - Quest #77: Your Elves are Better than Ours

"What was that? I figured there was no point in listening after you said 'not going to try to explain'." "Only a villain deals in absolutes. I will do what I must." Warlord Kaherdin draws his sword with a dramatic flourish and charges at you, Arthur, his actions so sudden and reckless that neither his troops nor the rest of you heroes can at first quite see what's going on. The Enemies: Warlord Kaherdin the Awesome Humanoid *Lucky* *Encouraged* Level: 24 48 Health: 500/500 Defense: 10 Special I: Stretch Out with Feelings — Warlord Kaherdin becomes Lucky. If Warlord Kaherdin is already Lucky, the target becomes Jinxed. If Warlord Kaherdin is already Lucky and the target is already Jinxed, this triggers Special IV. Special II: Call It Luck — Warlord Kaherdin deals 24 Damage ignoring SP and Row and Stuns the target. Special III: No Such Thing as Luck — Warlord Kaherdin flails around and nearly cuts his own head off and is no longer Lucky. If Warlord Kaherdin is already not Lucky, he Stuns himself and deals 50 Damage ignoring SP to himself. Special IV: Will of the Force — Warlord Kaherdin deals 100 Damage to either himself or the target, decided randomly. Note: Specials are decided randomly. Heroica RPG - Quest #77: Your Elves are Better than Ours
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Agreed." As it turns out, you don't have to go far to find the Mopag, because they're right there waiting for you at a couple buildings away, at the edge of the eastern district of the village. Dressed in golden armor, polished to a shine and bearing exactly zero pits, scratches, or other evidence of actually being used in battle, Warlord Kaherdin walks atop the rubble towards you, looking very much like a victorious general save for the fact that he hadn't actually done anything. "Hello again, heroes. As you can see, just as I predicted, the Mopag have emerged victorious. The Pongcanae are defeated and we have encircled the position where the elven and human leaders are out in the open, away from their keeps and their hideouts. Give me the elven lady and the knight, and I shall let you go. I'll even pay 100 Gold to every hero who helps me in that simple task." -

I don't actually remember if Bob included extras or not. But to be precise, I mean that "The rules for minifig part count only apply for parts other than your sigfig that you've added that weren't part of the list of allowed parts." -

No, it doesn't matter if they were already included in the sets. The rules for minifig part count only applies for parts that you've added that weren't part of the sets. -
We already have the Show Your Army topic for this, and I see that you've already mentioned something very similar in that topic. It doesn't need to be posted in two places. Thanks.

I attack Saladdin, the Prince of Thieves from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. -
All right.
-
A few posts back, I also suggested having the WP scale the same way Level does, so the next kill would push it from WP: 32 to WP: 32.25. JimB said he'd be fine with that, if you want to do that.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Brickdoctor replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
No, the stud-in-Technic-hole isn't illegal by itself. Illegal situations occur if that stud is on the end of a 1x1 cone, because the cone's shape allows it to be further forced into the hole, compressing and damaging the brick, and if you're putting studs attached to bricks with studs on their sides into Technic bricks and then connecting the bricks with plates on top or on the bottom, because the Technic bricks have their holes centered a tiny bit higher than the studs on the bricks with studs on their sides are. -
You already don't calculate the decimal in the Level; I don't see how it would be that much more confusing to know not to calculate the decimal in WP.
-
What if the Sword of Ancestral Hatred scales the same way Level does? So at WP: 32, the next kill would make it WP: 32.25.
-
For the record, I didn't actually run the Axe past Sandy this time, because the mechanic was already approved way back in Quest 31. All I did was give it a nerf to bring it closer to what my original idea of the weapon was and give it a buff which I considered was appropriate considering the progression of the game between the two drops, and considering the fact that no one wanted the weapon last time when it was WP: 20 and had fewer negative effects. If Sandy wants me to drop the WP to 30 or so, I'll do it, but otherwise I think it's fine as-is.
-
On EB, MOCs are posted in their own separate topics, not all in one topic like this — the whole Action Figure subforum actually fulfills the purpose you've stated for this topic.
-
The price has nothing to do with it. You had a WP: 20 weapon instead of using a WP: 10 weapon twice. You now have a WP: 40 weapon instead of using a WP: 20 weapon twice. (And considering that Level is typically higher than WP, you probably end up dealing around the same Damage or less Damage most of the time.) If you want to sell it for its Gold value, fine; nobody's actually going to pay what it's worth in upgrades. You'd probably get something comparable to what should've been dropped from a boss after a quest this long.
-
I didn't even realize the Sword of Ancestral Hatred had gotten that high. Awesome.
-
WP: 20 weapons are becoming common enough that there'd be nothing special about a WP: 20 weapon that you could only use every other turn. The Greatsword of Lion Nobles was dropped when WP: 10 weapons were becoming common, and you got double that and used it half as often.
