Quarry's got a WP: 45 staff and the undead, and Bricksandparts is a Barbarian-type. JimB, did you want to go to the Fields?
-
Two Wardens, a Paladin, a Necromancer, two Mythril Shields, plus whatever heavy-hitters also sign up — sounds good to me.
-
Amen to that!

If there's room for a necromancer on that group I'd like to tag along, getting to ten quests would take a long time, so I kinda need to go to the fields for the veteran's badge to get access to archmage. Besides, the fields should be very necromancer-friendly. I have no objections whether we sign up as a party or not. And definitely no objections to having a Necromancer.

I've been a fan of these ever since I first saw them:
-
I signed up for the Unlimited Quest when I first got back to the Hall, though it was never acknowledged.
-
Got it, thanks.

Do we have any actual rumor of new Palpatine, or is that just pure speculation also?

Sets you want, sets you think we'll see, discussion of whether or not your set concept makes sense, discussion of whether or not TLG will release your set concept, discussion of what set concepts are acceptable by TLG standards: Does. Not. Belong. Here. Last warning. Stay on topic!

Same here. I like to give most of my NPCs that join the party 5-25 Gold just because it makes them seem more realistically prepared, and I don't mind if the party has the NPC buy consumables. I also don't mind if the NPC is a Gold-gaining class and the Party Leader redistributes any Gold that was gained after a battle.

There's no rule that says you can't, but it seems like it's one of those understood, unwritten rules: that doing so would just be bad form. And remember that you can try doing it, but the QM will still have the final say; there are lots of things the QM can do to prevent the trade from happening. (NPC turns against you and has apocalyptic-boss-stats, Gold turns out to be fake, NPC turns out to have a hole in his pocket and all the Gold is lost...) Also, if you attempted it, it'd probably be one of those things that causes future QMs to think twice about whether or not they want to host you.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Brickdoctor replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The serious yellowing is primarily something that happened to older bricks; newer bricks no longer have the bromine fire retardant that reacts to eventually cause the yellowing. With newer bricks, there have been claims of bricks cracking from either being in the sunlight or being assembled for too long, and there have been claims of bricks turning slightly yellow in the sunlight, but in my experience it's nothing too serious. You can keep your set disassembled in air-tight bags filled with an inert gas in a dark, climate-controlled room, but unless you plan to sell the set later to a similarly serious collector, all you're doing is depriving yourself of enjoying the set. -
I get the sense that if this were implemented, people would cry, "Oh noes they nerfed Rogues again!!!". The ability to pay for expensive upgrades is that class's main strength. Although, on the other hand, this could cap the snowball effect of those more powerful weapons leading to even more Gold being gained, and would encourage the use of more consumables and a larger variety of equipment that's shared with the party, which could be a good thing, even if it doesn't necessarily fit the typical roleplay style for the class.

LEGO Lord of the Rings for PC/Mac did not support DLC. On the other hand, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is a more recent game, and I believe that that one does have PC DLC. So I would say that there's a decent chance the PC version will have DLC this time around, but I wouldn't say that it's safe to assume it.Second post: some quick Googling alerted me to the fact that the entirety of There and Back Again will be DLC for this game. If that's the case, then I'd definitely think that DLC will be supported by PC, considering the significance and the size of the DLC.

No, it's about time all of you listen to the admin and get back to discussing the model, not the legality of selling models like it.
-
It was also kind of overpriced, I think. A thousand Gold for something you'll only use against some bosses, and which you probably wouldn't leave constantly equipped until a pretty high Level.
-
I had not noticed before just how complex and clean the shaping was on the front of that; it really stands out in your photo. Nice job!

No, the point is that this is a topic created by someone to show pictures of a model he built, and he has already agreed to comply with BaronSat's wishes and has removed any reference to selling anything, so the legal discussion doesn't belong here. Perhaps it is a good discussion to have, but this is no longer the place for it. Bonaparte is saying that we should just enjoy the recreation of an excellent MOC, and that from a community perspective — not a legal one — we should still respect the creator's wishes.

At the risk of asking a question that might sound insulting, are they both the same version of IE? I think it was v.10 that we had a lot of issues with. -
It was chrome in the Solar Sailer, too. Dooku's has always been chrome for some odd reason — I doubt they still have old chromed curved 'saber hilts left over from '02, and I don't think they need a new mold to make non-chrome versions of a piece.

That's very likely. If you guys are using IE, do you get the same issue with Chrome/Firefox/other browsers? We know IE has been responsible for some apparent bugs in the past. This happens to all of us; as far as I know, we have no idea what causes it. You can still use tags or emoticons in the plain-text editor if you type them out manually. However, no matter what you do to avoid the insertion of the HTML '<b>' tags when you initially post, the board will put them back in if you go to edit a post (no matter which editor you do the editing with), so you still have to watch out for that. -
Awarded. As the first post says, you need to have been a member for a year and you need to have made two hundred posts. The 25% of posts requirement can't be verified in all cases; it's mostly a case of "If we haven't ever seen you around the Star Wars forum then we're not going to give you a Star Wars tag." Awarded.

I'm pretty sure they fixed that somewhere along the line. I have a few worn-out chrome hilts from around '02 (The ones I remember for sure wore out being the two that came in Obi-Wan's Clones Delta-7, and I think the one from the Dagobah X-wing wore out, but I don't remember for sure.), but a lot of the newer ones have stayed nice and shiny despite plenty of use. The last time I saw one, by the way, was in 6212; after five or six years of production runs, TLG was still putting chrome hilts in that set when I bought it in...I think it was 2012, might've been 2011.
