LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Brickdoctor replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think a few years ago, when it was first in the vote, I would have been a lot more excited for Palpatine's arrest, because of all the Jedi molds. Now, new Jedi are appearing so often that there doesn't seem to be anything special in that set. (and I think I would feel the same way even if the molds for those three alien Jedi hadn't yet been released) -
Some places have the book for close to the BL price, though. I think Costco had the Character Encyclopedia for $10.99 USD before Christmas, and I got my Visual Dictionary from Amazon for $12. You really just have to look around, because I see those deals on the books a lot.

Ahem. But this Gotham Scum had fun in that game and isn't really looking for revenge. He just kicks himself for not having you killed on Day 3. -
Your Quest is still listed under Closed Quests in the Hall. Sandy just got back from Italy and probably hasn't had time to update everything.

I never joined the old forums, but FBTB has always been one of my top sites to visit ever since I first discovered the LEGO online community a few years ago. Welcome to EB!

QM Note:Noted, thanks. -
This is a common problem caused by the fire retardant in older bricks. Have you tried this?

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share

QM Note:Over the course of the holiday, I've sort of forgotten myself. I'd expected this to go a lt faster, so I didn't write it down. I believe you and Alexandre(Capt.JohnPaul) are exhausted. Keep in mind that that's not really a measure of anything, also; it's just a term I'm using to ensure that you don't attempt anything or series of things that you shouldn't be able to complete in the time you realistically have. -
The Druid in the board game, though, essentially takes the place of the Cleric.
-
It could be classified as a role-playing 'event', I suppose. It's not really a feature, as I think only Sandy can introduce those. Whether or not it will be 'epic' remains to be seen. Besides, a Muppet invasion of EB (through its Staff) is old news.

I would. Then again, I didn't play Eurodina, either, and I'd probably sign up because I knew you were an excellent QM in Heroica Quest 7. -
The only fair way for such a class with all talents and strengths to be introduced would be to make it the highest possible tier of classes. Advanced classes combine two basic classes, so to introduce this class, classes would have to continue combining at least two more times to have the skills of all six basic classes.
-
I think a seventh class would just complicate things. I can't really think of a significant strength or characteristic left. We have an offensive class (Barbarian), a defensive class/tank (Knight), long-range support classes (Ranger and Mage), a healing class (Cleric), and a darker, Gold-centric class (Rogue). That's nicely balanced already, I think. Maybe a commanding class that could give bonuses out to other players but was rather weak in battle could be the seventh class, but that seems more suited to higher levels of classes.

Yeah, I saw a lot of them at Targets in my area before Christmas.

It's a dirty light grey X-wing. And that's not as bad as white clones covered in all the colors of the rainbow, starfighters painted bright yellow with chrome finish, or star destroyers with huge patches of red trim. But yes, back on topic. smokebelch, I'm almost convinced that you could make the ugliest minifig look beautiful. Can't wait to pick up one of those droids, now. -
Welcome back, Sandy! My condolences to you and your family.

In real life, a military would be more likely to paint their troop transports brown instead of dark blue and grey. Not that Star Wars has ever really stuck to realistic coloring. (the problem is more common in the PT than the OT, but still) -

You see that there are arrow loops in all the walls. Positioning yourself inside the walls instead of on top of them will prevent you from losing any Health as long as the wall stands, but it you will only be able to act every other Round. -

QM Note:Uh, no, you're not. Sorry, it's been a busy and distracting holiday for me. I believe Flipz and Capt.JohnPaul are. Spag and Isabella return with enough boulders for 1 Battle. -
Death Star is probably better for play; shuttle is probably better for display. Given that it's a UCS set, I'd say the shuttle would be a lot more complicated than the DS, which is essentially bricks and plates built straight up. If you want to "develop your skills", I'd say go for the shuttle. I don't own either, though.

These are the bags full of random bricks, right? They have those at other times, too. I believe they contain the bricks from past displays of sets.

Won as Town Cop in Isla Paradisa Mafia, played like a total n00b as the Town PGO in Baritones 3, had a lackluster performance as Town in Bloodbrick II, and was lynched as the last surviving Scum in Gotham Mafia. I'm available. Let's see... Best moment: Being trusted enough by KDM to solve his task in Gotham Mafia, earning myself one Night of un-killability. Worst moment: Realizing that I was going to be lynched for playing like a sheep in Bloodbrick II. -
This design is rather fragile. Given more time, I could probably build in a Technic axle. This is another model I plan to revisit later.
