The Curse of IMHOTEP - Day One
Brickdoctor replied to Pandora's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
My mistake, I'm still getting used to who's who and remembering who's said what. -
One summons it, of course. Summon Bigger Horse!Horses are functional items in this Quest. Certain Lion Units' powers are modified by horses.

The Curse of IMHOTEP - Day One

Probably not. I'm just pointing out that the practice of celebrating Halloween in a costume is not unprecedented. I do find it curious that you've chosen to respond to the portion of my statement that has little to no relevance to the task presented to us. -

QM Note:It will take 3 Turns to move to a position from which you can attack, so you would be able to attack on the fourth Turn. (passing through the South Tower, South-West Wall, and South-West Tower) Preparation is crucial in this Quest! -
The Curse of IMHOTEP - Day One
Brickdoctor replied to Pandora's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
We've known of people celebrating Halloween with costumes since 1895. Characters from literature and radio are popular right now. I'm with those in favor of a lynch Today. We're not going to succeed if we don't take risks. Do note, however, that a majority vote isn't needed for a lynch, so even if we aren't unanimous in our voting designed to test behavior and responses, chances are that someone's going to get lynched, if not only because I doubt everyone will be awake in time to unvote. In light of that, choosing a random person to vote for, even if it is only to test behavior and responses, isn't the best idea. -

QM Note:Remember, just because you can't attack doesn't mean you can't act. You can take this Turn to move to a different spot. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share

You order the two remaining men to their positions, and await the attack. Predictably, within a few hours of sunset, a team of elves bursts out of the forest in front of the vulnerable West Wall. It certainly is strange that we aren't told what the goal of the Cutists is, but I don't see how that concerns us. Our goal is quite clear: kill all the Cultists. -
SR3D on Mac ?

I've tried it on VMWare Fusion 3, with no luck. Sergio tells me it's an issue with the graphics coding and support. I can't get the program to launch. -
I'll say it again, this model has everything - shaping, coloring, detailing, parts usage - but what I really love is the legs. You've used a style of building there that usually looks rather thick and blocky, but you've used it to capture the spindly appearance of the Octuptarra's legs.

No love for buckets? When are we getting our next shipment of Torturous Fruit? The Face-eating Seagulls are getting antsy. Ugh, the (Figurative) Suspense is killing me.

February is fine with me. Gives me time to try to get something built for Historica.

You rush to your assigned positions: QM Note: Please confirm that this is the desired positioning. Also note that you have one Lion Pikeman unassigned. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM Note: I assume you want the melee units on the ground floor? A Knight at the top of a tower won't do much good. And Rangers on the second floor of towers not adjacent to the West Wall, so they can still fire and not have to move down a level to move to another spot? -
Exactly! If I have to do all the work, I don't have a good Quest. Now if I settle you in one place, give you your objective, and watch you try to think of ways to build catapults from scratch, that's a fun Quest!
-
That is actually something I would allow.Except there aren't any Evokers in the party to summon any Bigger Fish.
-
On that note, I hope you're having fun with Quest 17. The aim was to get you out of the comfort zone of normal battles and make you think outside the box.

QM Note:As you were told when you first me Sir Lawrence, it takes one Turn per level, tower or wall. (so moving from a wall to an adjacent tower is one Turn, and moving from the third floor to the second floor is also one Turn; I believe it was mentioned before that there are only stairs and ladders in the towers, also) No, you can't ride horses. -
I think Masked is going to host a CW CB after Oky's Sith CB, and then after that we'll move into EU. (I think I've got the first EU CB, which is probably going to be based on the Thrawn Trilogy)

access denied to the RPG / wargame forum ?
Brickdoctor replied to gosthrider's topic in Forum Information and Help
I'm going to guess that it's because you have under ten posts (protection against evil invaders from the lands of SpamBoticous), though I had thought the only forum I'm New!s couldn't access was Buy/Sell/Trade/Finds. -

GM Note:It's going to get confusing if you're battling at the same time as other heroes. I'm not sure exactly what K-nut's decided, but I think we had decided (via PM) that only one battle would take place at a time.

Those of you who want Gold, remember that you can always sell the items you win in the Marketplace. You're probably just going to end up gaining less. (unless there are some nice or desperate other heroes willing to pay you the full price for your items)
