That would make Knights too strong, with their high Health and shields. In the Arena, Rangers and Mages have the advantage of rows. Knights have shields. Knights and Barbarians have high Health. Barbarians are incredibly strong offensively. Clerics can heal themselves. Rogues are the weakest class in the Arena, but they can steal Gold in Quests and they can wield ranged weapons. Shurikens are readily available at 50 Gold.
-
No, they only do twice as much Damage in this situation because of the arrangement of Rows. Being able to hit someone from afar is one of the perks of being a ranged class.Think about it, if this were a real battle: I have a bow, you have a dagger. I start far enough back away from you that I can get off a shot before you can attack me. Realistically, who's going to deal more Damage?
-
Sarick hit you for a base of 6 Damage. That Damage is only halved because his standing in the Back Row doesn't affect his ranged attack. You hit Sarick for a base of 7 Damage. That's halved because you're in the Back Row (3) and halved again because he's in the Back Row (1).

The Curse of IMHOTEP - Confirmation & Discussion

I have to say it: I love the lighting effects you've been using, Pandufus! -
Oops. I had two tabs open, and I copied Ricecracker's player's name for my vote in Imhotep Mafia and must have pasted it there by accident. All fixed. I quartered the Damage, rounding down.
-
Sandy, if two heroes battle each other and both are in the Back Row, do the effects stack? I'm leaning towards yes, since they could be thought of as two separate actions. The attacker making a cautious attack, so he can't put the full force of his body into it so that it doesn't deal as much Damage; the defender is dodging from afar, giving him more time to respond and causing the already weak attack to only graze him, further reducing the Damage done.

I can't find you. Are you sure you're not on USEast? By default you play on the server closest to you. I'm in the Nexus next to the purchasable dyes right now.
-
StatBots are down at the time, and I can't find you, Volcanic. What server are you on?

Round One: >Sarick Lanse vs. Guts Holla - Hit >Guts Holla vs. Sarick Lanse - Hit The two of you jump into the arena and circle each other, looking for an opening. Sarick, you draw first blood, letting loose a Hit that causes 3 Ice Elemental Damage. Guts, you are quick to recover, sprinting in before Sarick can react. You embed your Lifestealer in the Mage's side, gaining 3 Health for yourself and dealing 1 Damage. The two Level 7 combatants seem evenly matched, and the battle continues... Combatants: Sarick Lanse, Level 7 Mage (Xarrzan) Power: 13 Health: 10/11 Ether: 10/11 Gold: 35 Inventory: Dragon's Wrath (WP: 6), Healing Staff (WP:5, healing effect), Opal (Ice), Topaz (Lightning), Potion, Tonic, Phoenix Essence Guts Holla, Level 7 Rogue (Scubacarrot) Power: 14 Health: 13/13 Gold: 65 Inventory: Lifestealer (WP:7; attacks restore 3 health), Potion, Bedroll, Shovel Both of you, choose your targets and the row you want to fight in. Also mention if you want to try to flee, move, heal, or cast a magic spell, or if you want to use an item instead of attacking.

I'm MegaBlokin' confused right now, but since Ishaq has been more active than Thomas and Mehmet strikes me as a proactive Townie, I'll trust Mehmet, Unvote: Ishaq Attaq (Wuntin), and Vote: Father Thomas “Tomato” Thomson (Ricecracker). -

QM Note:I hadn't anticipated this because I thought the heroes would be in one place, but yes, you may. You have a realistically clear line of sight and you're a ranged class. -
Done. If you're online, stay in the Nexus and I'll invite you.
-
Priest is rather simple to play. Dodge enemy fire the way you would with any other class, hit them from far away with your wand, and keep a finger on the spacebar incase you get shotgunned or your health drops too low.

The Curse of IMHOTEP - Day One
Brickdoctor replied to Pandora's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
As much as I still find Roger's actions suspicious, I can't deny that it would probably be a bad move to lynch him this early in the situation before his role can be verified. I Unvote: Roger Goodenarde (Professor Flitwick). A lot has happened in these late hours while I was sleeping, and I'm still a bit confused, so I'll go review things before casting a vote. At this point, the most suspicious suspect to me who hasn't roleclaimed is Mellifluous, though I'm not sure why. I think it's a combination of her quietness and a gut feeling of mine. In any case, voting for her would at this point just be a waste of my vote, and I really don't have any convincing argument against her, so I'll Vote: Ishaq Ettaq (Wuntin). -
If you have good loot, some players will buy Gold for you in exchange for loot, but you have to give them your account details. Otherwise, create a second (mule) account to store stuff in.
-
You can store eight items in the one free Vault chest you get. Go through the yellow portal in the first area of the Nexus and put your stuff in the open chest. (additional chests cost more Gold)
-
Trading is done by clicking on a player's name in the sidebar and selecting 'Trade'. (the other player must accept the invitation to trade) Alternatively, you can type "/trade player name" in the comment box. If you haven't chosen a unique name, you can enter one by visiting the statue on the left in the first area of the Nexus. (I forget if it's the gold one or the silver one) If you've already chosen a unique name, you have to pay 1,000 Gold to change it. (Gold must be purchased with actual money)

Mid-Tier Free Items Available: All freebie mules are now public. E-mail addresses and passwords are on the Board in the Guild Hall. Eurobricks Guild: Brickdoctr (Brickdoctor) Hornblower (Skipper) Briksparts (Bricksandparts) BrickCosty (Costy) DarthNihil (Darth Nihilus) Hasenklein (Brickadeer) ADonut (Donut) Calanon (Calanon) CallMePie (CallMePieorDie) Emorith (K-nut) JBoyWonder (TheBoyWonder) LegoFlipz (Flipz) Harkshire (VolcanicPanik) PoisonKate (Poison Ivy) TLSisco (Sisco) MaskedBud (Masked Builder) How to Join the EB Guild: [*]Register for RotMG. [*]You need to be Rank 1 before you can join, so you'll need 20 Fame. Fortunately, there is a 20 Fame bonus at your first death. Go store your equips in the vault and have fun suiciding. [*]Go to the Nexus. If you haven't done so already, check which server you're on. You can click on 'Servers' from the main menu to change servers. The guild usually plays on EUNorth2, at the bottom of the list, and finding you will be much easier if you're already there. (and if you came from one of the busier servers, like USWest, you'll probably find a lot fewer people, a faster-running game, and a lot fewer n00bs - even if you're still a newb yourself. ) [*]Find the gold statue in the beginning of the Nexus. [*]Set a unique name. It's probably best to pick a name that's similar to your EB name. (Hint: Don't pick 'Hornblower'. Other players seem to interpret it in the, ah, wrong way. ) [*]Meet Doc or Skipper in the game. You can set up a meeting or just hang around the Nexus and keep typing '/teleport Brickdoctr' or '/teleport Hornblower' until one of them gets on, but you might be doing that for a long time, depending on what time it is... [*]Accept the invitation. When you do, your name and the names of other guild members will appear green. They will also appear as green dots instead of yellow on the minimap. You can also participate in guild-private chat by adding '/g' to the beginning of each comment. The resulting comment will appear green amongst the other comments in the lower-left corner, and (if you have the option to view text bubbles on) their text bubbles will be green, too. Basically, if it's green, it's probably guild-related. (Note: Medusas are green, but they are definitely not your guild buddies. Kill them or run away; don't go over to say 'Hi'. ) [*]Click on the names of the other guild members near you in the sidebar and select 'Lock' Now, their names will appear emboldened in the sidebar and will always be at the top of the list, even if they're not one of the six players closest to you, provided they're in the same area as you. (same Nexus, same dungeon, same realm, Guild Hall on the same server, etc.) This way, you can easily find them if they're online.[*]Be sure to check out the Guild Hall, through the brown double doors at the beginning of the Nexus. The Guild Board has some important info, including login details for the mules holding free equips that your fellow guild members don't need. Do note that there is a separate Guild Hall for each server, so don't just say, "Everyone meet in the Guild Hall!", and expect to be able to see people on other servers. This is a common complaint that the devs are aware of, but, for now, another reason for everyone to stick to EUNorth2.

It would be near impossible to index every single MOC yourself, and harder still to get everyone who builds MOCs to submit all their MOCs. Most builders just post on one or two sites. I, for example, use flickr primarily. I gave up on MOCPages and use Brickshelf/Majhost only for other miscellaneous images.

Heroica RPG - Quest #17: The Lion's Share

QM Note:Yes. QM Note:You decided to position yourself inside the wall, remember? The Lead Scout is on top of the wall. If you want to attack him, the fastest way is to take two Turns to go to the North Tower and ascend one level, after which, if the elf is still close enough, you can attack on the third Turn. -

Arasmyth RuGard does nothing William Harkenshire does nothing All Free Hits fail as all non-targeted enemies have melee weapons, not ranged weapons. As the battle and the fire continue to rage, Xander, you continue your run towards the action, passing through the South-West Wall. Arthur and Isabella, you miss your mark, but, thankfully, your target did not possess a ranged weapon, and thus could not deal any Damage. Spag, now Encouraged, you move to the North-East Tower, while Alexandre, you're blinded by the light of the flames and miss badly. The elven archer easily dodges before firing a grappling hook over the top of the West Wall. Althior, with a tremendous groan, you expend all your Ether (17), creating a massive wall of water that surges out of the river and into the forest. The fire is put out and all the elves are swept off their feet by the powerful current, losing 1 Health each. Arasmyth and William, you hold your positions. Any enemy not targeted will get a Free Hit on the party after everyone have acted. After the end of the second Round, your positions are as shown below: "Sir, the Lead Scout has scaled the West Wall! He will head towards the North Tower. The Lion Crossbowmen (Level 2) there aren't strong enough to engage in melee combat! Should they retreat?" QM Note: In case anyone's wondering about Althior's spell, I decided to treat it like he was removing a very large obstacle. Since that's a power Mages normally wield outside of battle, I decided it shouldn't majorly hurt enemies the way a Magic Burst would. (plus, using a Magic Burst is determined by a die roll) The elves only lost 1 Health because I decided all the water had to go somewhere, so the elves lost Health for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. -
Actually, almost all the things listed as 'good' Anakin actions weren't done purely out of good character. Everything he did for Padme he did because he was attracted to her, despite that fact that that was in direct violation of the Jedi Code. Rescuing Obi-Wan is sort of a requirement of all Jedi. Not rescuing him would be bad, but that doesn't make rescuing him good. It's more like...typical. Snakes?!?! Surely one doesn't even have to be a Star Wars fan at all to tell the difference between centipedes and snakes. Those things clearly have legs!

Odds aren't close to everything in this situation. I doubt that everyone's behavior has been perfect enough to make everyone equally un-suspicious.But if you say you had no opinion whatsoever...
