  1. You realize that you have nowhere to put such weapons. None of the other towers or walls are wide enough to accommodate siege weaponry. If you are to field more than one siege weapon, the others must be placed outside the walls of the fort.
  2. Even with two heroes at work, you realize that you cannot possibly build from scratch without proper tools a machine as large and requiring as much precision in physics for optimal performance as the trebuchet in the time you realistically have. You hear back from a few of the birds.<"We've seen several elven scouts in the woods in the past weeks."> <"My mate's companion's fourth hatchmate spotted fearsome constructs of wood and iron heading through the forest.">
  3. QM Note:Yes, I do. As for the sling, I'm sure there are items in someone's inventory made from cloth, and you don't have to build a catapult that uses a sling.
  4. Isabella, you attempt to build a trebuchet based on the design of Bricdocton Forestmen, but you don't have the necessary parts. You need to find something to build the sling out of, and you need to use a piece of rope. You also cannot build it by yourself. Arthur, you need to wait to see how big the hole will be, measured in studs, so you know if you have enough Ether to freeze the ground around it. Arasmyth, you need to decide how you will sharpen the stakes and how you will get them into the ground, and you are still waiting for the Party Leader to approve of rigging the bombs with tripwires. Everyone else, you need to decide how you will dig the hole, where it will be, and how big it will be.
  5. QM Note: Be more specific as to how you're going to do what you plan. I'm allowing a lot of freedom, but at the same time, it needs to be plausible. Arthur cannot possible freeze all the ground around the fort with only 5 Ether. Isabella cannot singlehandedly build any kind of catapult - there's no way she'd be able to build a large trebuchet and get it to the top of the tower, for example - she needs to describe how she plans to build the catapult so I can give it a reasonable Level and Health.
  6. I attack Scarab B from the Back Row.
  7. All right, I attack Scarab A from the Back Row.
  8. That was lucky. I attack Scarab C from the Back Row.
  9. I don't think the Dread Hat has ever been used, actually. The last battle of Quest 1 ended in one Round in which I didn't roll Damage or Special Damage, Quest 7 took all my loot away from me, and I wasn't able to participate in the first battle of Quest 14.
  10. I love the little tweaks you did to the nose to fit the guns inside the plating.
  11. That's great to hear, Bonaparte. Thanks for all the hard work you're putting into this for us, EB Staff.
  12. I'd love to see someone build my models. I provided the LXFs so someone could build them if he wanted to.
  13. I attack Scarab A from the Back Row. Cinna, why don't you put me first in the order. The normal Scarabs won't attack me because of my Dread Hat, so then one of the others can concentrate on the Golden Scarab and I can take the Free Hit.
  14. I don't intend to. I've got so many other things to build physically.
  15. Yes, but it was really ugly and wasn't canon so, like with Day 7, I picked one of the weapons to do.
  16. Like some others, I'm beginning to think mysteries aren't my thing. I have fun investigating the locations and all, but when it comes to night actions and win conditions, I don't do so well. I'll be watching, though!
  17. I continue to call for the scorpions in their language.
  18. It's an issue of width. Bars are used on the official MINI and brick-wide tubes are used on the System ones. The pins are one studs wide, which falls right in between.
  19. Day 18 is here! Or, has been here, but I hope this was worth the wait. It's Midi-scale BTL-A4 Y-wing! The only thing I don't really like is the engine domes - I couldn't find a suitable brick-built solution. 2011SWAdventDay18.lxf
  20. Looks like we're going to have to come back in the daytime.
  21. You spend the day chopping down trees, ensuring that you'll have plenty of logs.
  22. You realize that with branches, you can't make any stakes. If, however, you were to chop down trees, you could make an indefinite number of stakes. You see some various critters and a few birds.
  23. You don't see anything to indicate that Brobric Elves have been in the area lately, but then again, they are forest elves and you are no expert at tracking.
  24. Day 17: *sigh* Another day, another Miniland-scale version of a pointless filler day in the calendar. It's Miniland-scale DC-15s Blaster. At least we're on the home stretch, now, and there's a trio of vehicles I'm looking forward to building coming up... 2011SWAdventDay17.lxf
