  1. Have we ever had a case where Ratsbane was used with an AoE attack? (Actually looking at the Treasury; I didn't realize that Ratsbane/Sapper restored 2 HP; I had thought that it restored 1 HP. In light of that, I think Lifestealer doesn't need a nerf, and I still think it should be able to steal more than 3 HP on AoE attacks.)
  2. I agree that it should be up to the creator of the item to clarify its effects (and any changes should be approved by Sandy, of course). In this case, though, I think it makes more sense if Lifestealer steals HP with every successful hit, able to steal from multiple enemies. (perhaps a slight nerf to stealing 2 HP instead of 3 could balance that if it makes the weapon too powerful)
  3. OoC: No problem; I didn't even notice that I was supposed to post K-nut's action.
  4. "Allright, that sounds good. We have plenty of bombs anyways."
  5. Huh, I'd never noticed before that Guts doesn't have any Defense. I thought he at least had one of those artifacts providing 1-3 SP.
  6. "Master Nihai, attack Tangleweed C. "Master Unth'or, if Absorb hasn't been rolled, attack Tangleweed B; otherwise, do nothing. "Master Carvenhall, if Absorb hasn't been rolled, attack Tangleweed B; otherwise, do nothing. "Master Emorith, if Absorb hasn't been rolled, attack Tangleweed B; otherwise, heal whoever has the least Health. "Order should be myself, Master Nihai, Master Unth'or, Master Carvenhall, Master Emorith." I attack the Gloom Widow from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  7. There would of course be some sort of limitation on Gold gaining in the Arena, and there is already the "no-autorolling" rule in place to prevent abusing the Arena for easy loot. (plus if we decide to go with Rogues stealing Gold from the opponent, the opponent needs only to give all their Gold to another player before the battle, or the Rogue can always decide to give the Gold back)
  8. Removing rows to make it more fair to Rogues and Barbarians takes away any reason to play a Ranger or a Mage in the Arena, though, so I would be against that. On the subject of Rogues and Barbarians, though, Barbarians should get a buff to their Damage-dealing capabilities in the new rules, and Rogues should be able to gain Gold.
  9. Yes, the Damage calculations of the current Arena rules don't make sense. Especially at the higher Levels now, Aim can be more powerful than Critical Hit. I believe the new rules are using the regular calculations and dividing them by two or three (depending on the roll) to make the battles last longer.
  10. None taken; we know they're terrible and we've been working on new rules for a while now. I'm not completely sure why they haven't been implemented yet.
  11. Fourth place, thirty-five points.
  12. I know it's happened before, but I thought that the last time it happened we stopped the fight until they got back...
  13. GM Note: You're on a quest; you can't be posting in this topic. The duel is postponed until you two get back.
  14. They're not. In the past we've always postponed the duel until the participant(s) get back from their quests.
  15. I attack the Gloom Widow from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  16. Yes, the sign in the brand retail store near me mentions a purchase of $50 USD or more.
  17. Moved to discussion of pricing and availability. ("Star Wars sets anyone?")
  18. Wasn't there also supposed to be something about Isaac Shawe being Dak Shadeaux's uncle/older relative? I know Nihilus PMed me about something involving running away and hiding in Mopag and seeing Shawe and hiding or doing... something. A year ago, maybe? Holy Crap! You must talk allot! I don't think we ever think we post that much, and then we look at our totals and go, "MegaBloks, we talk a lot." I remember somewhere around the time I got to Knight, I thought I'd never make a thousand posts. About ten months later, I was at Arch Duke. In fact, I thought my posting had definitely slowed down lately, and out of curiosity, I check the top daily posters page to see that I've made fourteen posts today and my posts per day is still over sixteen.
  19. I'll put you on a quest with Isaac Shawe and you two can roleplay being... clones... or something.
  20. I've got one normal (normal for a Brickdoctor quest, so that means fifty (new IP.B) pages or so ) quest that I want to host, and then after that I've got one that I think I can use to shatter whatever record there is at that time for longest quest in both number of pages and amount of real world time.
  21. OoC: I don't think the Counterstriking Damage got applied to the two Tangleweeds. "Same actions, everyone! Well, Master Emorith will of course be targeting a different Tangleweed." I attack the Gloom Widow from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  22. OoC: I don't think we missed anything, right?
  23. There are entire quests done with virtual bricks. Not really an excuse. I also hosted a Shadeaux quest without any Fright Knight parts.
  24. You entered different categories.
  25. I don't think it would have a huge effect as far as pay to win is concerned, but I'll have to see the final stats first. It's been said many times on the WildShadow forums (by other players, but this applies to me): I've spent real money on this game for more char slots which I do sometimes use to store stuff,, and if I continue playing I'll probably eventually end up paying a good amount of money for eleven more char slots and another vault or two. (my definition of beating the game being to have one of each class 8/8 with tops/top UTs) There are plenty of paying players like myself who use mules, and if Kabam prevents me from accessing my mules (a loss of what a quick glance would suggest to be over 50 Life's worth of pots and equips) then I'm not going to have much motivation to keep playing the game and eventually buying more stuff with real money.
