  1. Yep, Medium Stone Grey is TLG's name for Light Bluish Grey. (and it's called "medium" because there's a rare shade even lighter than that) Hopefully it isn't information overload for a new Fan of LEGO, but there's a very helpful chart on Peeron that lists all the different colors and their Peeron names, Bricklink names, and official TLG names, along with ID numbers and approximate color values.
  2. Called it. (this from the draft of the review before we got the announcement)I get the sense that they're being vague because they themselves aren't completely sure what they're doing right now. Almost like they want to say something decisive about the future of Star Wars but they want to leave the door open in case they decide that whatever they do instead doesn't work out and that The Clone Wars was their "original vision" the entire time. Kind of like new Scum in a mafia game. I definitely don't think it's "quit while you're ahead instead of milking it" as much as it is "quit because you can probably milk something else for even more money".

  6. Kukulkan, I think. I don't think we've ever had an orc, PC or NPC, who spoke a lot of a definite orcish language. I know we've taken a couple languages from Tolkien because of how well they're defined (Chromeknight uses Quenya, I know), but there's no real orcish language in Middle Earth, I believe. (they just use the Black Speech when not speaking Common Speech/Westron, right?)
  7. "Nice work, Master Unth'or. "I'll get Aepyornis D again, Master Carvenhall can keep attacking the Hippogriff, Master Unth'or should switch to Aepyornis C, and Master Nihai can attack Aepyornis C as well. "New Order should be Master Unth'or, Master Carvenhall, myself, Master Emorith, Master Nihai." I attack Aepyornis D from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  8. Well, um, actually, I let Dharkan do it in Quest 17. For one reason or another I thought that Isabella's melee dagger could be thrown, so I let her throw it from the top of a tower at an elf on some wall... and then made her walk all the way across the fort to get it back.
  9. OoC: I think the twenty-four hour mark is supposed to pass before the Party Leader's or the QM's chosen action for a player is used. It's up to Pie, though.
  10. I had 4502 (the Dagobah X-wing) sitting in a dark room and then indirect sunlight locked in attack position for six years or so, and the rubber bands are all still in good enough condition that they're indistinguishable from the rest of the white rubber bands I own. (I parted out the set a few years ago when I finally decided the model didn't look accurate enough to be displayed, at which time the rubber bands looked as good as new. They were then placed in a bin with all the rest of my rubber bands, and I can't tell which ones they are, even compared to my newest ones.)

  13. No, it damages every enemy when successfully thrown. (On that note, in further support of throwing weapons not being able to be used in melee, the bladerang's effect would make no sense in-universe if it were used as a melee weapon.)
  14. "Actually, Master Emorith, just heal yourself this Round."
  15. vs. Prepare for battle! Combatants: Grimwald Gjinko (LordoftheNoobs) 69-year old human gnome, Mage Level 1 Power: 4 (Level 1 + WP: 3) Defense: 0 Health: 5/5 (base HP: 5) Ether: 5/5 (base Ether: 5) Gold: 0 Equipment: Staff (WP: 3; staff), Inventory: Topaz (Lightning), Bedroll, Potions (2) Kiray Nastayo (KingoftheZempk) 24-year-old human female, Knight Level 1 Power: 4 (Level 1 + WP: 3) Defense: 2 (SP: 2) Health: 10/10 (base HP: 10) Gold: 10 Equipment: Sword of the Kin (WP: 3; longsword), Scutum (SP: 2) Inventory: Potion Both of you, choose your targets and the Row from which you want to fight. 16. I thought the same. I believe there are a couple daggers that have the effect of being able to be used as throwing or melee weapons, and that would be meaningless if a throwing weapon could also be used for melee. (plus then there'd be no reason for a new Rogue not to choose a throwing dagger - although I suppose there's a similar situation in that there's no reason for a new Mage not to choose a broomstick)
  17. OoC: Not sure how stating "repeat attack" would be interpreted when you used a Remedy last Round. You should probably just specify a target, one of the Aepyornises.
  18. "Alright, do we want to use a Remedy on Master Emorith, or do we want to save our Remedies for a situation that might be more dangerous than this?" I attack Aepyornis D from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  19. I've never really liked dropping high-WP weapons. Maybe it's just because my quests are usually long and their big reward usually comes in XP, not loot, but I prefer to drop low-WP weapons with special abilities, and then give the players Gold and they can upgrade the weapon if they want to. Of my recent drops, the Staff of the Cultist Battlemage was WP: 8, the Sword of the Elven Blademaster and Sword of Ancestral Hatred were WP: 5, and the Greatsword of Lion Nobles/Leojagd was effectively WP: 10 since it could only be used every other Round. Rogues are supposed to get lots of Gold, and they can use all that Gold in order to get really high WP, and that's all part of the balance of the original base class which is decidedly unimpressive in most other areas. Rogues don't have Defense like Knights, they aren't as effective from range like Rangers, they don't get Damage multipliers like Mages and Barbarians, and they can't heal like Clerics. Their strength is in getting Gold and using that to buy stuff, WP upgrades included. I agree with Scuba; I think it's kind of unfair to the Rogues to drop high-WP weapons that other classes can get their hands on, because the high-WP of Rogues' weapons is a part of the ability that is the Rogues' major perk. (And by the way, it's not impossible for other classes to upgrade to high WP. Aside from Mystic Knights, some of us have had the Gold and tems to take our weapons to high levels, and have just upgraded something else instead. )
  20. Because you only get one chance to stop him from healing, and he's fairly close to full HP already.
  21. Isn't the Rum a consumable, usable only once? Wouldn't it be better to see if the sheer amount of Damage Scuba and Eric can dish out can bring Reno's HP down more before using your one chance at stopping him from healing himself?
  22. OoC: Yes, that's what I was just saying that I had said in the original post. I want Xander Remedied if we both roll Road Runner.
  23. It's an awesome character choice. No, it's how the game is supposed to be played. Bah, roleplaying!
  24. OoC: You wouldn't be able to Remedy both of us if we both happened to roll Road Runner. In which case, posades takes precedence over myself... just making sure that that's in your action if that actually happens. (which is why I used 'if' for Remedying posades and 'else if' for Remedying me)
