  1. Yeah, that's what I meant: the Favored is still applied, it just has no effect. (see "Darkness-elemental Damage *3 is still Darkness-elemental Damage") I'd never thought of using a *0 to represent elemental ineffectiveness in the posted calculations - that's a good idea.
  2. But at the same time the Favored multiplier is at the mercy of the elemental modifier's effectiveness - a Hunter with Demons favored and a Darkness-elemental weapon will still deal no Damage to a Demon. (since Darkness-elemental Damage *3 is still Darkness-elemental Damage)So to answer the second question, Favored can augment effective elements, but will not cancel out ineffective elements.
  3. I don't actually collect sets in what would be considered the proper or conventional way, since every set I buy is eventually broken down for pieces and I haven't actually displayed a set, System or UCS, in several years. But I think that you should start out with a mix of both, with the UCS primarily to display and the System primarily to play with. Over time I think you'll start to want more of the UCS accuracy* in the System sets and more of the System functionality in the UCS sets, and that leads to building your own models which can combine the best of both worlds, which I think should be the ultimate goal of every FOL. *Okay, so UCS sets aren't completely accurate. But for the most part they look more accurate than their System counterparts.
  4. Agreed, plus we've never known TLG to use absolute accuracy as a reason not to include an exclusive minifig or other feature.
  5. OoC: I did eat all of the hits. 21*5=105, 105/2=53, 53-25=28 Damage. 116-28=88 HP remaining, and the Aura goes away leaving me at a full 58/58 HP.
  6. I do know that you've mentioned having made deals and wanting Gold; I didn't say you didn't need Gold, just that you already have a good amount of it. I wouldn't have felt bad about giving you a smaller share of the loot because of that, combined with the fact that you initially refused to fight.
  7. I would've given Arthur a share, just not that large of a share. It's not as if he's lacking Gold right now.
  8. OoC: That didn't even occur to me, that Electrocution could be rolled during my Aura and have no lasting effects on anybody's HP. I attack the Electriphant from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow, unless Electrocution has been rolled during a Round when I do not have Aura up, in which case I will do nothing.
  9. I'd say you've definitely achieved the goal of a smaller, smoother model. The shape of every piece seems perfectly chosen specifically to capture the defining features of Yoda, especially with the face. The simpler, blockier look is instantly recognizable and delightfully 'LEGO-ish'.
  10. In Bric'lin? I don't remember making a theater. I'm pretty sure it was just market, inn, tavern, plus the building where the final battle was.
  11. I never really developed the town; I don't think anything major has happened there since Quest 4, and that battle was contained to one building and didn't concern the citizens themselves.
  12. "Okay, let's just all attack the Electriphant until Electrocution is rolled." I attack the Electriphant from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow, unless Electrocution has been rolled, in which case I will do nothing. OoC: Could autoroll until Electrocution is rolled (or until the Electriphant is dead and then Counterstrike the Cerberus to death). Not sure how Flare or Pie wants to run this.
  13. Wait, are the Quest 48 heroes making a deal with the Regret so they can roleplay finding their long-lost relatives?
  14. The Unlimited Quest also allows signing up as a party.
  15. "Good work, everyone. I've got this for the next Round; the rest of you should take a break and avoid the Thunderdome." I attack the Electriphant from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  16. I take it the "no trading or mules to stop duping" strategy is working really well.
  17. I think it's safe to say that the game mechanics are broken right now.
  18. Actually, we haven't heard much in the way of official announcements from Disney or Lucasfilm themselves. There's a bigger discussion over in the Season 5 Clone Wars topic in Culture and Multimedia, but what it boils down to is that Disney and Lucasfilm are being very vague about this decision, and none of us really know for sure what they have planned. (my theory is that they want to focus attention on Episode VII while keeping the door open for returning to the current projects if the new movie is a failure) We don't even know if TLG knows what's going on with future Star Wars productions, so we can only assume that they'll release any TCW sets that are past the point of no return in the set design process. There haven't been any official announcements from TLG regarding the cancellation of TCW.
  19. "Just to clarify, with the same Order, myself, Master Carvenhall, Master Unth'or, Master Nihai, Master Emorith, Master Emorith, actions should be: I attack Slyph A. No need for a conditional action since I'm going first. Master Carvenhall attacks Slyph A. No need for a conditional action because there's no way I could defeat the Slyph before him. Master Unth'or attacks Slyph A, unless it is already defeated, in which case he attacks Direwolf A. Master Nihai attacks Slyph A, unless it is already defeated, in which case he attacks Direwolf A, unless a new Direwolf has been summoned, in which case he attacks the new Direwolf. If there are no Direwolves or Slyphs, he should do nothing. Master Emorith attacks Slyph A, unless it is already defeated, in which case he attacks Direwolf A, unless it is already defeated, in which case he attacks any other Direwolf, unless there are no Direwolves, in which case he attempts to heal Master Carvenhall. Master Emorith attempts to heal Master Carvenhall, unless he has already successfully healed Master Carvenhall, in which case he attempts to heal the Electriphant."
  20. "Everyone attack the Slyph. Master Carvenhall should be able to take the three Free Hits for one Round, and we don't want to risk rolling any of the other enemies' Specials. Master Emorith, just in case, use your second Turn to heal Master Carvenhall. The rest of you, make sure to specify that you'll attack a Direwolf if the Slyph is already defeated." I attack Slyph A from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  21. Save Phil! I need to go on another quest with him.
  22. Another scale? Quality work, as always, Mood. I like the little patches of greys and greebles that you've worked in. Always love seeing the imaginative crossover builds you come up with. I think part of it might be unfamiliarity with the source material. I had to think for a few moments before completely making the connection between red TIE/in and the Imperial Guards. I must admit that I've never really read up on the Crimson Empire storyline that much (or maybe that supports my point), but the first thing I saw before looking a little more closely and thinking a little harder about the EU was a red mecha, not an Imperial Guard. It's a great model, just not instantly recognizable as a Star Wars model, I think. That being said, I'm not sure how many options there are for largely bright red vehicles in Star Wars... the only one I can think of in the six movies is the Radiant VII.
  23. Yeah. Robe of the Elven Necromancer, Staff of the Elven Necromancer, Amulet of the Elven Horseman, Staff of the Elven Warlock, Robe of the Elven Warlock, Sword of the Elven Blademaster, Cloak of the Invisible Elf...
