  1. I would change the wording to avoid confusion with the Cloak of the Invisible Elf, which grants an actual Invisible status for the first 2 Rounds of a battle. (can't take non-AoE Damage for those 2 Rounds)
  2. Fabian sells them for 20 Gold.
  3. OoC: I get the feeling that one of these rounds, Pie is going to go to Benji and say, "I find your lack of patience disturbing," and then Force Choke him for an Instant-KO. I attack Black Sheep C from the Front Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  4. I am excited for more Star Wars, and I stick to my view that the new movies can't be any worse than what Lucasfilm was already doing; but I hope that they can maintain good quality while pumping out movies at that pace, and I hope that they know when to end a storyline instead of going crazy all these new movies.
  5. "Master Nihai and Master Unth'or, swap targets. Master Carvenhall, take Silent Lamb B. Master Emorith, same action." I attack Black Sheep A from the Front Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  6. From the Member Guidelines:
  7. Order of the Stick, #657
  8. I think there are a lot of OotS readers in Heroica. Just like Irregular Webcomic! and TV Tropes. (Darths and Droids to a lesser extent, too, I think)
  9. You don't need to make it more complicated. It's a quest in a completely new location; you could probably add on a couple weeks just by fleshing out the city for open world/free roam exploration. By the way, Sandy, in the Hall, you have Pie with the Dragonslayer title and K-nut without it.
  10. Yeah, there are twelve sheep:Little Lamb Silent Lamb Fluffy Lamb Pristine Sheep Loud Sheep Black Sheep Chubby Ewe Prancing Ewe Christmas Ewe Horny Ram Battering Ram Old Ram No idea if Sandy made stats for all of them for Sheep Meadow. None of them were actually in the first battle in Quest 1; we just fought Direwolves the first time. Battering Ram's Stats: Battering Ram Type: Beast Level: 9 Health: 124/124 Special: Reckless Ram – Causes 18 damage and the stunned-effect regardless of row. Drops: Bone
  11. OoC: Wow, that's a lot of sheep. Also, our weapons are still Badly Poisoned; I don't think they should be. Unless you're being nice to us after we wasted them on the Dragon. But I don't expect that. "Okay, Master Emorith, Master Nihai, Master Unth'or: get the Direwolves. Master Carvenhall, try to Poison a Silent Lamb. I'll take a Black Sheep; they're Scared and can't Confuse me." I attack Black Sheep A from the Front Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  12. This has been a problem at least since late 2008, which is when I first started using the site. The frequent uploading issues, along with several months in 2009 where the site so slow it was practically unaccessible, were one of the primary reasons I'm no longer active there.
  13. OoC: Okay then, thanks. "Thank you, Master Nihai."
  14. OoC: I took a long time to post and posted #1791 at the same time that swils posted #1790. Didn't even see his offer until now. Oops. 125 Gold is definitely okay with me.
  15. OoC: I'm not saying that he shouldn't give out some of his Gold if he is willing to do so. I'm saying that he doesn't need to give out a large amount (Which altogether would be about 1500 Gold.) to make all the shares even.
  16. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of asking Rogues and their Advanced Classes to share the Gold, and I'm not opposed to one hero getting more loot than the rest in some battles. Plus it's not as if it's one weapon that we all want. K-nut can't use it and the rest of us primarily use bows.
  17. OoC: Not sure how you would price the lance (It's worth 2000 Gold based on upgrade cost of WP.). One Dragon Scale is the same as a Soma and a Nostrum, which together are worth 80 Gold. (So K-nut and I have already received 160 Gold, while Flare and posades have already received 240 Gold.)
  18. OoC: Psst! Sandy! I can see the Northern and Easter Reaches' maps by changing the URL of the image for the Western Reaches' map.
  19. I don't think that would've helped. Flare and I could probably tank two to four Free Hits for a few Rounds if we needed to.Wait, so does the Obsidian Dragon not respawn, then? Makes a lot of sense, but for some reason I never realized that before.
  20. "Excellent work! "I have no interest in the lance, either, even if I could use it."
  21. I think it's just another part of how PCs treat NPCs and storylines. As far as quests I've been in: My best-known NPCs were created as mechanical support classes for (what were supposed to be before I realized what Horses could do) the more difficult battles. I think Sandy mentioned that one of the new big baddies was originally a supporting NPC witch in some bog an ocean away for which there were no future plans. And Zepher can top both of those; his Emperor of Dastan was originally a nameless Fighter NPC.
  22. If there's no major roleplaying associated with it, it'd probably be best if everyone assumed that Boomingham owed Arthur 50 more Gold from the start and nothing to Docken. This debt is confusing enough as it is. But if you still want Boomingham to owe Docken something, I can just pay Arthur 1 Gold for the Scroll. Then Arthur will only have paid back 49 Gold, so only 49 Gold of the 50 Gold debt will be owed to Arthur, and Boomingham will still owe Docken 1 Gold.
  23. Make them sort my LEGO for me. Me being a proper evil mastermind enslaver of LEGO people, there's no way they'll get out of my underground lair with mythril blast doors, gamma ray cannon, and dragons with adamantine armor. Except for the ventilation shaft with spinning fans of death, but they'll never try that.
  24. They're very similar, so I think a lot of us signed up for Historica because of that. Then, at the same time, that similarity means that those of us who build for Heroica might have to choose between Historica and Heroica. I know that's the case with me; I was QMing a long trilogy and didn't have the time or the bricks to build two major MOCs at a time in the same theme. (The biggest limitation was my technique for the walls with the SNOT tiles - very parts-intensive.)
  25. OoC: Believe it or not, I do get off EB and go to sleep sometimes. "Again!" On both Turns, if Althior, Thormanil or Xander rolls Damage, I give him a Grand Potion. Otherwise, I use a Water Bomb.
