  1. Imperial players only, please! "The Avenger has a long and storied history of service to the Imperial Navy, new recruits. Remember that as you serve the Empire. You are standing on the bridge of this great warship. Work diligently, and you will soon find yourself with a position here. But above all, if you desire to advance in rank, do not fail Lord Vader." Introduction Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka is a building RPG set during the Shadows of the Empire time period, between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Builders can join one of two factions, the Empire or the Rebellion, and participate in 'episodes' (challenges) to earn in-game XP, tags, and other rewards, both digital and physical. Builders advance their character through their participation in these episodes. Building Outside of Episodes (Challenges) Feel free to show character progression (within the rules, of course) outside of the episodes in other MOCs. You should post these builds in the main Star Wars forum. Make sure to let us know of these builds in your faction topic (Redemption for the Rebels, Avenger for the Empire) -- they're eligible to be scored on a scale of 1-5 and can earn you up to 5 XP. (Keep your post there In-Character, of course.) Your free builds must be set in locations that your faction controls, the planets which your faction has control of by winning episodes on. Remember that your character is part of a division assigned to a specific ship or base by a commander, so you wouldn't be able to stray far from the planets you're based out of. A list of the planets allowed for each faction is available in the Core Rules topic. Where to Post What This subforum, Watto's Junkyard, is used for contests. As such, you should only post your entries to Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka episodes here. You are free to build in the Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka game outside of the episodes. Post such builds in the main Star Wars forum. The Core Rules topic contains the rules in the the first post and an index of all the players in the second post. Players should introduce characters in the Introduction and Discussion topic, and staff will add them to the player index. All posts in the Introduction and Discussion topic should be Out of Character. These two faction topics, Alliance's Redemption and Empire's Avenger, are used to discuss and roleplay In Character with your teammates. Announce your free builds in your faction topic. Episodes will be announced in their own topics, and you will be able to use those topics to ask questions about and discuss the specific episode.
  2. Rebel players only, please! "Welcome aboard the Redemption! From this hub and command center, we coordinate our efforts to fight against the Empire, but at the same time avoid any large engagements with their fleet. I'm sure that in time, with training, you will become some of our most valued soliders and pilots." 3. "Well then, thank you for your assistance. If you wish to contact us again, you know where to find us." Realizing that you can continue to talk along the way, you make your way into R'kilf. The door in the 'gatehouse' gives way easily, and you walk through the nearly deserted town to the Dragon's Head Tavern. The tavern is constructed of large, neatly fitted dark tan stones, its roof supported by stout wooden beams curving out towards you from the walls. The establishment has only a few customers in it despite the quality of its construction, an image of the delusions of grandeur of the citizens and founders of R'kilf. With a gurgling voice, the Teuthisal bartender speaks. "Welcome, travelers to the Dragon's Head." "Yes, welcome to the glorious city of R'kilf! A center of arts and learning, protected by the elves! I am Lord Baelanith."
  4. I see. All right, then.
  5. Let me know when you're done; I can edit them into the first post.
  6. This discussion is way off topic. Discussion of minifigs that you want to see belongs in Most Wanted Star Wars Characters. Furthermore, I think that it was very obvious exactly what Navy Trooper Fenson meant when he referred to 501st Legion minifigs. And it has nothing to do with a technicality involving clones of a completely different potential print design. Moving posts. If you want to continue to argue about the clone legions over there, fine. But it's still has nothing to do with Navy Trooper Fenson's idea.
  7. Agreed. The QMs can create ways for a party to escape, but I don't think they should be above the rules when doing so.
  8. Why are we not already using WBD's modified Arena Rules? They were perfect.
  9. The problem is not really just the "special figs to 'special' people", it's a problem of TLG's choosing to use minifigs that could be in sets as those exclusives. Shadow ARF, Chrome Vader, Chrome TC-14, White Boba — those are all 'figs that in all likelihood are too obscure or too specialized to be put into a set, and you'd probably be okay with not having them for your MOCs. But minifigs like the Clone Lieutenant and the Hoth Han, those are more useful in MOCs and could easily have fit into regular sets.
  10. Yes; it happened to me in the Fields.
  11. OoC: I'm not sure if we're waiting to question Avery further before acting. Unfortunately, the technical difficulties with my internet service just keep piling up, and the end result is that I have no regular home internet access for two weeks to a month. I should still be able to log on fairly often from other places, but if I'm holding something up, any of the other players can make a decision for Docken.
  12. Congratulations and welcome, JopieK!
  13. Right, the only confirmed set is the AT-AP. (Any confirmed sets or sets that we have reliable rumors for will be in the first post of this topic.) We do also know that there will be a significant number of OT sets in the wave, and it's rumored that the BPs will go back to being one faction per set. (By the way, ideas and discussion for sets that you think we'll see or want to see belong in a different topic, Future Star Wars Sets.)
  14. Welcome to EB! I do remember that someone said they wanted to see a new speeder chase set, but I don't think there was every any real rumor that such a set would be coming. As far as we know, it's just someone's wish, not a rumor.
  15. It reminds me a lot of the concept art for the Falcon, the first concept that eventually became the Tantive IV. I think we will see it as a set, and it seems like it could be translated well into a set. It's got a bunch of angles, and the curved parts look like they'll be easy to do in LEGO. (We've even got the two cockpit canopy pieces already developed for other sets that are almost a perfect fit for the Ghost's cockpit.)
  16. Remember the purpose of this topic! Discussion of sets you want to see or which you think we'll see belongs in Future Star Wars Sets, and that includes concepts such as the Ghost that seem to be a certainty as a set. If there's no rumor or confirmation of a set, then discussion about it doesn't belong here, no matter how obvious it might seem that such a set will eventually be a reality. In the case of more OT sets, the only rumor/fact we have is that there will be more OT sets and a hint that they'll be Tatooine, Hoth, Endor ; we have no rumors of what sets those will be. Therefore, discussion of the prospect of more OT sets, hinted at to be from those three planets, is okay here, but discussion of the specific OT sets that you think we'll see or that you want to see belongs in Future Star Wars Sets. And at this point, all discussion of Rebels sets belongs in Future Star Wars Sets. Stay on topic, please! Thanks. I'll move some posts. Someone on flickr mentioned that it was a recolor of this piece. (Notice how there's a bar of trans green extending back through the turret towards the minifig's chest.)
  17. Welcome to EB! Hurrah, more Star Wars fans.
  18. Hoth Bricks got a bunch of pictures. I like the Ghost that looks to be inspired by the original concept art for the Falcon which then became the Tantive IV. Star Destroyer's superstructure seems too small and too far back, though. Also:
  19. "So, you didn't mind if I attacked Clippard, even though he was supposed to be your target, but when I tried to keep Lady Marsh in the kitchen by attacking her, then you decide to intervene? "
  20. "I don't believe I ever expressed intent to work with you, nor did you ever before tell me what your purpose here was. Sergeant Saunterton was wise to avoid revealing too much. If you wish to know more of the details that you have mentioned, then we must take this matter to Warlord Kaherdin. "As for a drink, you might try the Dragon's Head Tavern."
  21. I think the general idea of the reference might actually be a little more common than just a more obscure history reference...thanks in large part to Shakespeare.
  22. You can just give ordes without saying much and without saying anything that isn't mechanically, strategically, or statistically necessary. I do it alll the time. (It's even easier if you don't care about roleplaying, by the way. )
  23. QM Note: Not sure what Lord Duvors wants to do, but let's make something happen so I can move you along more quickly once I get back to my collection later today or tomorrow. "...if you're bored and you know it, claaa — oh!" You see the rest of the squad of Mopag hoplites return, as Commander Pinnock approaches from...the...same direction as last time... he must've circled around inside the village... or something. "Sergeant Saunterton, travelers, do you know anything more about this incident?" "Uh, Commander Pinnock, sir!"
