  1. You have to tilt the hair back quite far before it fits, its just a weird shape, I'm sure it fits :)
  2. That sound brilliant. Got a picture of all the sets you bought? I would like to go one day myself... EDIT by admin: Removed quote on request since Keith edited his post. Hope what was OK
  3. My top 3 technic sets are: 8285 8868 8297 8421 deserves a mention as well, it's such a good looking set, and big, but unfortunatly the pneumatics are a bit underpowered for the weight of the crane...
  4. I finally managed to complete my 2nd series set today. Got a few spare lifeguards and spartans...
  5. Hmm strange post... Do you mean you want technic bits in Pick A Brick?
  6. That's good news, although about 120 miles from where I live... Shall I try to go to the opening? Perhaps, if they have something nice to offer.
  7. WOW that's amazing. You should go work for LEGO! I can't wait to get this set and add your mods
  8. Sounds great, I haven't got any series 2 minifigs yet.
  9. Lord of the rings and The hobbit. So many locations and characters, could be as big as Star Wars!
  10. What is she gonna do with that knife?!
  11. If they copy your work, change it a bit and don't make any money out of it, then I'd say it's fair enough. Shame it happens, but it does. The internet is a small world, if you post something, there's bound to be someone that 'borrows' your idea, picture or whatever you've made.
  12. I got loads of transparent boxes from ikea, they're really handy! Easy to stack and you can fit 2 small ones on a medium, 2 mediums on a large etc... They can hold the weight as well, some are pretty heavy! These are just my spare bits, I've got over 200 sets in boxes, and those pieces aren't in this lot. I guess I've got about 1M pieces, but could be way off, difficult to say! There are some more boxes behind the small ones of course. (PS: is it OK to have large pictures when they're hosted on a different site?) -Marky -- Made my picture smaller
  13. It's a program for PC only (maybe MAC as well?) and it allows people to play games with each other, chat, etc... You can buy games as well, download them and start playing straight away, its very nice. For most games you need a fast PC. My name is '^3Herr Seele' or just herrseele, the first one might not work when you search that name...? Cant find you with that name.
  14. Shame about some models that don't work as intended. Nobody should be making any alterations, it should work 100% fine for everyone! Does TLG ever revise a model during its production, anyone know?
  15. I've just had a quick look at it, haven't played it. Looks like Risk and Dicewars, did you base it on any of those games?
  16. So much detail in such a small vignette, great work!
  17. I really like that! It's very original and looks nice as well. +1 for using the challenge logo
  18. Your portfolio is amazing! Hope it goes well for you, and looking forward to your 3 models.
  19. I didn't know argos sells on ebay. Lucky find for you! Hope for you it's in good condition.
  20. Welcome to the forum. You'll have to get used to all the new colours and pieces, there's a lot more now since the 80's!
  21. For a first MOC, that's a top quality job. I like the style, old and modern mixed, like the top was build recently. The bar is nice as well, do they serve Stella? What bothers me is the half sized window and lack of gutters. -Marky
  22. Thanks all. It will be a deserty area like route 66, that's what I looked for when getting reference pictures. Good call for tumbleweed and cacti, I hadn't put those on my list yet. I'll be making a few trucks and pickups and perhaps a police car for vehicles. What buildings concern, a diner and a repair garage. -Marky
  23. Scooby ->
  24. The resemblance of that F40 is amazing, considering it's in such a small scale! Just like your scania, not much to say other then it's spot on. Looking forward to your next creation.
