It is a very difficult machine to do but you have done a very good job. I already know this underground truck but I discarted to do it just for the suspension, to much work without space enough.- 12 replies

To do this machine nowadays is more easy thanks to the new big sprockets, it will be a magnificent machine for sure.

I like what I see, it is like my first wheels loaders, the only think I can say now is that the lateral movement of the U-joints is enough believe me but I wuold change the steering system, I think you would need small Linear Actuators or something alike to the 8265 system. -
That is my fear, in a 4 functions MOC, I build so small than the challenge is in the space and I need the less gears as possible but having room I will miss them... Going off-topic I think, sorry...
-
I do know neither... I use gearboxes for fun but when the MOC is a wheel loader or a dump truck I have fun too even without using them... maybe I would have to build a more than 4 functions MOC without gearbox and see how I feel, the MOC would be much better no doubt and maybe I would find the fun in another parts I love like linkages or reinforcements. The obviosly first problem it cames to my mind is that I do not have a single one wire extensor and I go further, do I buy old ones or I wait to see the new ones?.
-
You are right but in my case for example the main goal is to have fun during the building process and using a motor per function is too bored and easy for me. A interesting question would be, when you have fun with Lego, during the building, playing when is assembled or watching it in your collection?'

I know how these machines work since I was a child, it was a joke, I wished not to know it and be happy discovering it. Be ironic and sarcastic in a good way is usual in Spain but is hard to do it here, I would need the tone and the gesture.

What a joyful not to know what small L.A.s doing in the machine, be a machine lover is not good sometimes..

I know it, it is like a brutus d11, it was an acco and they had another giant machines, I remenber a big grader for example.
-
I agre, this machine is in the limit of playability, we will see if it is too big to have a reasonable movement in the arm, the tracks will not be a problem the real machine is very slow.
-
The new position for me is when the cylinder is next to the bucket the old one is next to the machine, The second pic is another type of cylider position that will make us headache... some backhoes are using it on the front bucket, I could play with the kinematics hours, if you know more of these pages let me know they are very useful and fun to play.
-
Are you going to use the new linkage configuration or the old one?, these new positions of the cylinders on wheel loaders, dozers and backhoes for example are a nigthmare to replicate... and going back to the R9800 their new big L.A.s can help a lot to build more wheel loaders .

I would like to see more of the Volvo 350 and the Caterpillar 992, wheel loaders are my favorite even not having tracks , I don´t know why there is not one tracked loader that I like and believe me I have looked for it a lot.
