The land itself is evil. There are countless evils lurking. The people are affected by it - the weak-willed go mad, the stronger-willed go slightly mad and lust for power. I haven't started on my embassy yet, I've only just pulled apart my watchtower which was a tough thing to do even though noone else really liked it. Dismantled most of my Christmas->New Year haul except the Fire Temple - my sorting/storing system has hit the limit again already so I'll need to get some more containers before I can continue with that and make space to build anything.

Sorry, but these two threads have been regurgitating the same opinions over & over, crossing over & back again & again it's hard to keep track of when things were said first and where they weren't said ever. Well, I would say you'd only need to read the last 40 odd pages - when the images first turned up! It is of course only speculation, but because it's misleading advertising to use CGI for the model (and it appears identical in 2 sets in 2 colours) it's been suggested (and agreed on by many) that ir's a new horse piece that will most likely appear in those 2 sets plus one other (showing a standard horse in a forced rearing pose - as is the norm) that may have been photographed before the mold was made. Speculation is over whether this horse piece is posable in any way, or if it is made so that it can be in a reared pose only (pretty limiting) or that it also looks like it's charging if placed front feet on the ground. That is all there is to it! Although I like the idea of the rearing+charging horse, it doesn't look to me judging by the Uruk Hai Army image that there is a stud hole under the front hooves, nor by the Weathertop image that the rear hooves would stand it up in a charging pose either.

Where have you been? We're expecting a new horse piece that is either posable or is in a permanent reared-up state (that possibly doubles as a charging horse).

I have both, I will do a comparison with some tan pieces when I have the chance. If they are indeed tan, it's a pretty good optical illusion to make them look greenish.

According to BL, Luminara & Barriss have tan hands and head. I don't think that's right, they look pale green/yellow to me but I don't know what colour they're meant to be. I imagine Aanchir knows...

I have a lot of these sets, even as a kid I was cluey enough to get the minifig pack 2x. The blue/black knight was just too awesome, plus it came with a horse. I also got the wizard tree set 2x, they stacked on top of each other perfectly. For me what made this faction so cool were the dragons, wizards & their beards, glow in the dark wands, capes, dragon helmets, dragon plumes (although not really new), new halberd, new faces, new dragon torsos and green dragon shields. Regarding the Dragon Den, I placed mine with its back to the side of the Mountain Fortress, it fits well (despite a small gap) and makes 2 otherwise small forts into something comparable to the other castles. ...and of course there is no obvious door on the SECRET workshop, otherwise anyone could just wander in there and find out all the secrets! Only the wizard knows the magic entrance...

If you roll shield on your turn, you can either move 4 spaces or use your ranged attack if you have one (not all characters do, including ninja as I play it, so he can't defeat a monster from range). HOWEVER, if you encounter a monster and consequently roll shield, you can either defeat the monster or use your melee attack if you have one (not all characters do). So the ninja defeats a monster with shield or 3 if he encounters one just the same as anyone else (but gets no bonus when he does so, unlike eg thief). Thief can only move when he rolls shield, cleric can move or heal himself but they can't attack a monster from range. Same thing. Make sense?

In the midst of all this off-topic childish arguing about whether LOTR is bigger than SW or not, I would like to point out that (ON TOPIC) we have just been told with absolutely no possible way of misinterpretation that KINGDOMS IS NON-EXISTENT FOR 2012 BESIDES THE JOUST. There is now nothing other than the Joust set to talk about - and it has its own topic. This one should be closed. Especially since the last few pages have just been a flamefest.

I use the skeletons as monsters in the castle, and have used a ninja as a hero. I gave him an ability of +2 spaces when rolling shield. (So 6 spaces normally, 7 spaces with a torch) He has an advantage over other melee heroes but ranger is still by far the most advantaged.

Don't see why we'd have Saesee Tiin in two sets, not saying it wouldn't happen, but it makes little sense. Especially considering it wouldn't be a CW set so he'd be different to the one in the starfighter. And why is he appearing 3 times in less than 2 years with VERY limited screentime, and almost no lines? Also, it would be Agen Kolar, not Eeth Koth. Palpatine would have a double sided head you'd think.

More like Obi-Wan has had to suffer Anakin since the start... besides Ahsoka isn't a brat anymore (and was never as much of a brat as Anakin). But what does Krell have to do with it? In addition to that, in our ancient world, armies would have obvious banners, shields etc etc so everyone could easily tell which side you were on. Today, sport teams wear contrasting uniforms to avoid confusion. What would happen if all football players (insert your preferred code here) wore green based camo' to blend in to the surroundings? No one would know who was who. When you're in a fire fight with 100 spaceships, you want to know which side the one coming up on your right is on.

Okay, so I'm hoping to get a Kingdoms Joust at worst case less than $200... which rules out S@H. Where else (besides ordering overseas) am I able to get one from? It would be great if a list of all exclusives and where they're available in Australia existed. (Please do not be DJ or TRU, I can't get to one, although judging by the fact I've never seen an MMV I must assume that I'm going to be disappointed. )
