Think it was said in fall. I believe it´s the same in the Legolands: They add some storm and snow and such things. Darn - no time travel this time!

As jij al op amazon hebt gekeken, denk ik, dat jij weet dat het van de Heel-uitgeverij word uitgebracht. Misschien zal ik dit boek voor jij gaan kopen? Maar de locatie von mijn boekhandelaar is niet ver weg van Venlo, slechts 10 km. Kom mar lekker gezellig even langs an wij gaan dit samen kopen. Ik denk, dat dit wel voldoende zal zijn. For all others: Bla, bla, bla and a bit of neighbour teasing.

Hi folks! When I had a look at my newspaper this morning I couldn´t belive my eyes: My favourite toy was on the frontpage! The reason was: The new Lego Doscovery Centre in Duisburg opened today! There is a miniland with a lot of local buildings from the "Ruhrgebiet", a 4D cinema, a small roller coaster, some kind of "Fabrik" like in the Legolands and a building (and buying) area of course. I planned to join a pre-opening visit via 1000steine.de, but then my son got (slightly) sick and we had to cancel the tour on wednesday. So I haven´t been there, but I´m still planning to do so. I´ll keep you updated. The fees: 13€ per adult, 9€ per child. For my dear oranje members: It´s just half an hour from the dutch border! Closer Lego shop ON!

Got the new 50 anniversary (related to the 2x4 brick) Lego book today. This is an outstanding book! It tells the story of TLC (so nothing new here ), but it also offers a lot reprints from old catalogs, adverts and the 1958 patent. Something I did not expect in a book. And if you´re done reading you can just start building - there are 6 red 2x4 bricks attached to the cover. Tell me whenever you´re finished with all 915.103.765 possibilities of putting them together. I´m sorry to tell you but I fear this book is published in german only. It´s 'just' 29,90€, so start to learn german and buy it!

I would like to know: When building the mirror GG - how often have you been forced to take a step back when realizing that you placed a brick the wrong way? I can imagine that building mirror buildings big like these is harder than everyone would think. Now I´m looking forward to the 4 middle floor GreenGrocer. Thx for sharing!

I´ve got news for you: *click* Imports are getting an interesting alternative in Germany, because the amount of what can be declared as a "gift" is going to be risen in december. From that point on you may have sent a parcel that is worth 150€. Sorry, I don´t know if this is relevant for anyone outside Germany...
