Eurobricks 2026 Event Germany - General Discussion
Holodoc replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
I believe I can take care of that, Peppy! If you come to Stuttgart it's no problem at all - I will pass the airport on my way to Billund. It will all depend on the place where we will be staying this time. I searched for some nice group accomodations in Bavaria, but most of them are already occupied at the proposed dates. Nevertheless I'm sure we will find something. -

Accidentally... Of course. Nope, just one to complete with. -
Just 4 more weeks until the 18th EB event in Billund! To shorten the time a little, we are now starting the 2025 building event. What's it all about? Build a nice soapbox racer for your sigfig. The vehicle must contain the following parts: and for the basis of your vehicle as well as your sigfig/avatar. You may replace the "chassis" with your own parts, but the wheels only come in 4 sets and all of them include the chassis part as well. If you don't have them already, these 2 sets are an easy and cheap way to get hold of them: 60458 and 60459. If you were a pirate, here is what it could look like: Bring it to the event, where your vehicle will compete against the others. Maybe it's wise to make it nice, sturdy and fast! And of course: Have fun!

Or someone (... ) can pick you up in Hamburg. The airport is not a big detour coming from the south. -

I have to work on Wednesday, but I'm trying to get to Billund as soon as possible afterwards. Propably I'll start in the afternoon to reach Billund in the evening. It also maybe possible to leave work a bit sooner than 4 p.m. , but I can only affirm that some days before. -

Eurobricks Event #17 Germany Sign Up-Topic
Holodoc replied to Skalldyr's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
Like Skalldyr already posted I sadly cannot join this year for the first time in 15 events... Have fun, everyone! EDIT: I think, this topic needs a frontpage! But I still don't know how to do it... -
Hello there! From what I can tell (a bigger photo defintely would have helped...) this is not LEGO! A can't spot a single true LEGO brick. These bricks shown are even from different brands. LEGO bricks always had solid studs with their brand name on it. Here you can spot hollow studs ore solid stud without branding. The underside changed in the age before the 70's, but after that they had tubes, not a plain underside as can be seen in the white and yellow bricks on the bottom. I cannot tell what the blue part in the middle is - I don't think it's a building brick at all... (looks like Bloko) So either these bricks are very old (pink wasn't a color of that time) -> don't buy them or these bricks are not genuine LEGO -> don't buy them!

For the next time: Resurrecting a dead topic is normally no good move! But I believe a lot of people are interested in how to display your own sets, so I'll let this one pass. Show you are a real smart guy and please add a link to the discovered new shelf (I hope it is one )

Reviving a topic that is kinda dead since 9 years (! ) normally is something we warn you for - but I do understand your arising questions when trying to get hold of retired sets. Asking in a review thread still is not the best place. For the next time please open a new topic for your requests. Thank you.

ABSolutely stunning! What an insane amount of bricks and all those nice details and stories... (good you clarified the Czech movie scene ). You do play Minecraft, don't you? I really look forward to your video. Thx for sharing your build.

Wonderful MOC! It's sooo 1920's ! Brilliant color scheme for this era as well and an extraordinary curtain/wall deco, too! I like it all the way. Well deserved frontpage!
