I'm awfully sorry that I didn't put you on that 'wanted' poster. I saw you read my PM in January and thinking about your not-so-new job I thought it would be unlikely to have you on the event. See it as a teaser to get you out of cover. Glad to see it will work out nethertheless to have you in the evenings. There will be a lot ot talk about! Wow, bad news, but fully understandable!

Do we actually know who the one was who had connections to TLC to ask for support? The big box always wondrously found its way to my place in order to bring it to the event, but I don't how who asked for it.

Does anyone have information about the "usual suspects" that have been to previous events, but haven't reacted at all so far? I think of @CopMike @Rufus @Pandora @KimT @Quarryman @Dfenz @Bfenz @Ras 74 ...

For example 42152 is on sale (Amazon) for just 74,40€ And over at ToysForFun all 2023 SpeedChampions sets are currently off 35%!

Wonderful idea! A second one: Build your own "Houses Of The World" - house, just like the new gwp40583. What I could offer: A small workshop about (hold your breath!) LEGO competitors. There is a German website offering tons of (mostly) Chinese brands and they are producing own sets as well, called Bluebrixx.de. They do have the license for Star Trek and I own a handful of smaller vessels I can bring along. I also have some city additions and a very interesting development of the minifig with articulating shoulders and knees!

Yep. To continue the good habit of trading before or at the event, this is the place to share - sets / parts you have and want to get rid of - sets / parts you always wanted to have - sets you have spotted on the web with a good discount in your region that might be interesting for others. So fire away!

50 days to the event! It has gotten a bit quite lately what information about our upcoming event is concerned. So I would like to share the few information we have right now: UPDATE 3/21: Wednesday: Get together in the evening, most probably in/at the Lalandia restaurant Thursday: LEGO House. Meeting point 10 o'clock at the main entrance. Friday: LEGOLAND. Meeting point 10 o'clock at the main entrance. Saturday: Raise your voice what to do here! Sunday: A last breakfast before we all leave the scene. Besides that nothing is really set by now. Even the place where we can stay in the afternoon is not set! Maybe the houses at Lalandia are big enough to gather, as we are fewer eventees like the years before. If no one stays at Legoland Village we hardly can use their space to meet. We are facing certain changes to the last events in 2023: Support by TLC is yet unclear. - We used to receive a box of giveaways that could be used for prices, etc. - When we planned for 2020, TLC offered us a quite expensive tour through LEGO House and we decided not to accept it. - Will there be a tour to the emplyee shop? Most likely not. So much for the poor facts. This is the point where all of you are asked to make up your mind, what our pogramme can consist of! What can YOU add to the agenda? Are you able to make a workshop or somthing similar on a specific niche? What about contests, either before the event or at it? (Bear in mind the unclear rewards (see above)) Is there something you want to show and tell us? Who will take care of the countdown? I do have some ideas, but I can't make it all alone. I will post that after the introduction here.

Sure thing, I've added you to the (first) group of Lalandians. So the first house is already complete.

Ooooh! - This is actually great news as the cabin is cheaper by far (see above, you also found this offer) when booked from Tuesday on. I feared it wouldn't be possible to go with this solution, if actually nobody was there to take the key on Tuesday, but now... If (one of) you can confirm your offer I would book the Classic House a.s.a.p. - or ask you, Skalldyr to do so - I'm sure we will have enough eventees filling that house. The problem with Lalandia indeed is, that they are NOT offering a conference room or something similar on their ground. We will have to go with the facility at the village...

Our thoughts were to split up, to have some of the eventees stay in the LL Village and some @ Lalandia.

The link above should lead to the house and its layout. It looks like there is plenty of room, but we actually never stayed there before.

Just like 2019 I'd love to stay at Lalandia. No problem in being a room representative.
