  1. Since this building does not have windows, I should mention the extensive camera network inside and outside the perimeter: The clear sideways domes are infrared laser emitters that trip with something moves between the dark red posts The black upside-down globes are the cameras which I took the idea from these: Here is the LDD lxf file for this project(6175 pieces): http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Seluryar/LDD/buildings/defensepost32/zombie_house_34ds.lxf

  4. How do physical Lego Stores price their items? Do they have the same prices that they have on shop.lego.com? If an item is nearing the end of its stock life(as in fewer in stock) would they raise the price of those item/s? Also, can I use the VIP card i got from Lego.com in local Lego Stores?
  5. I already have plans to add other animals, but I fear that the T-rex only likes to hunt.

  8. I have been working on this since early today and have came out with something that i thought I should share with the community Dinosuar paddock by Seluryar, on Flickr I like the work on the fence, Inspired by the fences used in the first movie Dinosuar paddock by Seluryar, on Flickr Of course we need a way to get in and out of the paddock: Dinosuar paddock by Seluryar, on Flickr
  9. Here is my latest Lego video, Time lapse video build of 8258 Crane Truck (before you nitpick at me, there was a segment that did not save properly, the middle part of the build about 1:30 into the video could not be used to make this video)
  10. you should have no shame bumping your own topics, keep these great mocs coming!
  11. We had a Firefighters Challenge a few years ago in my city, most of the event involved climbing up a 4 story scaffolding tower in full gear as a relay race. Back in 2008, they did show off a new fire truck for my city. They didnt do it here last year :(
  12. That looks like a display you would see at Toys r Us, good job!
  13. I grew up with dogs, and with Lego, that always meant a closed bedroom door. Sadly, I have lost many bricks. I have found a few of the lost elements a few days later, but trust me, they were lost for good :( I have never hit a dog for raiding my Lego stashes.
  14. If I were to have kids, i would keep them away from my collection until they reach their teens(12-13). But to be fair, all I have are Technic sets. But don't worry, I would start him/her on themed sets.
  15. I will either listen to music from my computer, or depending on what time it is, I will be watching tv(or at least be listening to tv).
  16. I have thought about pinning the legs to the body and using the gears it uses for rotating the boom, but since my knowledge in that kind of thing is limited, it might take me a while to figure it out.
  17. That is very much what I would like to build someday. Here are updated photos: Lego technic 8053 crane truck airport fire by Seluryar, on Flickr Lego technic 8053 crane truck airport fire by Seluryar, on Flickr Lego technic 8053 crane truck airport fire by Seluryar, on Flickr I might get rid of the LA on top because that weighs down the boom.
  18. Lego technic 8053 crane truck airport fire by Seluryar, on Flickr I think i can do better with the lift arm and nozzle, but for now, I am finished for the day after building the original body to the crane truck and stopping before the building of the crane itself
  19. Now if only Lego could use this technique without muscling out the little guy that came up with that idea :) Speaking of little guy, didnt a young kid come up with that idea?
  20. It would be nice if Lego could find a new material to make stickers with, Kind of like window decorations that can be affixed and removed constantly without damaging the design/image and then placed back onto the paper that the stickers arrived on. The one irk I have with copying and printing new stickers is that I would have to cut them precisely, which would be difficult since I have hand tremors which could ruin the cut.
  21. I was under the impression that those 2 parts would only be compatible with each other and no other parts would go into it
  22. This video should have been posted before i did my 8070 Hot Rod timelapse build, but I accidentally deleted the original 4-5 hour build video. I did not add music to this video because I liked the occasional rattling of searching for parts in a plastic tub. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46PnyFOitCI&hd=1
  23. Nice work EM4CZ! the front bumper is large like that so that if needed, the van could push other vehicles if needed so that they could do their job. As for the ambulance look to it, yes, it was based off an ambulance i had built before in LDD, I should note that some ambulances that have reached the end of their useful life are sometimes sold at auction and converted to be used for other things.
  24. I made this truck originally as an ambulance. I like how the Fez hats make good roof beacons Link to .lxf for Lego Digital Designer: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Seluryar/LDD/utilitytruck1/utilitytruck32221.lxf Have Fun MOC'ing!
