  1. Very nice and compact build! Clever how you mounted the ball-joints. Maybe you can make the mudguards a little bit wider, because now the sides look a bit flat, but that's just my opinion.
  2. Very helpfull, thanks. I espacialy like the diameter in studs, it will be much easier to fill in the diameter of the wheel in the speedconputer.(where you can only have the diameter in studs and plates)
  3. That's some amazing performance! have you had any issues with the thermal protection of the batterybox kicking in? Some time ago I build a buggy with the exact same electric setup but with smaller wheels and I had that issue quite often
  4. 19,3? That's realy fast! I ordered a lego speed computer some days ago so it will be easy for me to measure the speed of my vehicles :)
  5. Yeah I thougt about coupling the motors with a differential too, but it takes more space and you lose the possibility to power each wheel independently. But I'm glad to hear the age difference of the batteries won't be a problem.
  6. Hi guys, I just ordered a second rechargeable battery (8878) and I was wondering if I could use it in a car together with my other one which I have for about two years now and is intensively used. For example, if i built a car with two rc motors, and each rc motor has it's own v2 receiver and battery, would there be any speed difference between the motors?
  7. While charging, the red light blinks, when it's constantly red, your battery is charged. The green light only indicates if the battery is turned of or on.
  8. The problem you have is most likely the overheat protection of the rechargeable battery because the rc motor draws too much current. I often have this problem and when the protection kicks in, it stays until you recharge your battery. I solve this problem by having a gear ratio (down gear) that doesn't stess the rc motor too much while driving so that the protection doesn't kick in. I hope you find this helpfull.
  9. I got a 42000 :) can't wait to disassemble it and build with the new parts such as the wheelhubs
  10. Wow, that thing looks awesome! Could you tell me what gear ratio you used?
  11. Here are some pictures(I hope the link works). I hope you find them usefull so far, because I will upload some more pictures later. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=537256
  12. Hello everbody, I had some troubles with registration, so that's why I'm responding so late. The Toyota Hilux is a MOC by me and I'm glad you like it. It's indeed inspired by Jeka Jacksons jeep commanche and I used some ideas like the front axle. I'm very busy with school at the moment so I haven't had any time tu upload some photos and put them on brickshelf. I will do that within a week and put a link here.
  13. Hi, everything you need to motorize it are a powerfunctions batterybox (part number 8881) and a powerfunctions m motor (part number 8883).
