  1. ^ That's the printed 1x1 round tile. Gerkenz post specifies that it needn't be the printed version, as it's not visible in the final build. As a matter of fact, I don't remember even using one in my version, printed or otherwise :/ For the record, though, I think it's supposed to be 983138pb006, not pb06.
  2. Thanks, DraikNova! It's pretty much a bone stock variation of Nabii's design with some extra weaponry and a different paint job. The only other modification I made was to add two more plates to the height of the cockpit, because I didn't like how laid back the pilot had to sit, and some additional controls therein.
  3. HA, that was a surprise! As I said, on Flickr, it's an honor to be rendered - thanks, KielDaMan! Meanwhile, I was rendering my version of Nabii's really cool Counterblast Mech from the LEGO Adventure Book: Counterblast Mech, Galaxy Patrol Spec by vynsane, on Flickr
  4. Thanks for sharing the parts list! I reverse-engineered it based on yours and Nabii's pics into this Galaxy Patrol Spec Counterblast Mech: Counterblast Mech, Galaxy Patrol Spec by vynsane, on Flickr
  5. I dunno, the NY Daily News gives it a run for its money. The topic was shut down over at Brickset before I could get many laughs over there, so I'm recycling my joke here... Unfortunately, the main distinctive unifying feature is that both the model and the real mosque feature Han Solo frozen in carbonite mounted on the wall, and this lends credence to the claim.
  6. Both the underside shots look like someone took their boot to them!
  7. Thanks, yeah - I found it odd that there wasn't already a group dedicated to the Winter Village sets and MOCs. I only created it on January 6th! I just noticed the "Widow's Peak" on both rooflines in this shot. Another fantastic nuanced feature!
  8. Very nice, I like the colors and little nuances like the offset windows on the second floor particularly. Thanks for adding it to the group on Flickr!
  9. Plus the introduction of the 1x2 cheese grater slope in white. Honestly, it's really odd that we got this piece in Earth (Dark) Green of all colors and still don't have it in Medium Stone (Light Bluish) Gray!
  10. HA! Yeah, I was able to invite them to the group now. Coolness!
  11. Ah... Well, the individual pics are still set as 'moderate'. Just changing the general setting does not generate a batch process on the photos therein. Now you have to go in to 'You' -> 'Organize' and drag all your pics into the 'main' panel in Organizr. Once they're all in there, click 'Permissions' and select 'Set Safety Filter'. Set it to 'Safe' and click 'Change Safety Filters'. Then you should be good to go.
  12. You seem to have some SafeSearch filters turned on. I can only see the pic you embedded earlier in this topic when I view your photostream (I think because you tagged me in it), and the 'Share' button is grayed out (disabled). The rest are hidden behind this page: EDIT: Did some digging and it looks like, since your account is relatively new, it's under 'Moderate' filter restrictions, and needs to be reviewed by Flickr staff to set it to 'Safe'. There's a link on this page that can help you request a review.
  13. Dood! That's awesome! When you have Flickr all figured out, join the Galaxy Squad group and add it to the pool!
  14. Wow... some incredible stuff going on here. Love the snake as the whispy exhaust from the chimney!
  15. I would suggest building the roof rack out of some of these or these. The wood valance panel on the back also needs to be mostly above the roofline, so maybe connect it to 1x2 with clip on top.
  16. It stands to reason, what with the Spider-man sets being based on the Ultimate Spider-man cartoon and already having sets featuring three of the main supporting cast (Iron Fist in "Doc Ock's Ambush", Nova in "Daily Bugle Showdown" and Nick Fury in "Spider-Cycle Chase"), that we'll see at least two more Ultimate Spider-man sets featuring Power Man and White Tiger as additional minifigures.
  17. I just saw it today in a Target on Long Island, New York.
  18. This is chock-full of inventive parts usage and techniques. I LOVE that moose! Where is your Flickr account link? I want to see more! Please do join the LEGO Winter Village group (I just created last week) and add them!
  19. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. He could have negotiated with LEGO to get a job on the show instead of spouting off half-cocked and ruining any chance of ever working with them. Anyway, anyone else having a good laugh at the irony here? The new Thundercats is a direct remake. So, the complaint is that LEGO stole the concept of a show he "rightfully" copied. Yes, I'm sure there was a lot of creativity used in the remake, I'm not disparaging the work that went into it. That said, I could get behind it more if it were a completely original idea that was then conspicuously similar in Chima. But boiling it down to "they stole the thing I copied" reveals the ridiculousness nicely. LEGO isn't new to the license game at this point. If this Dan Norton guy really did pitch the theme to TLG, there was a team of lawyers on hand and Non-Disclosure Agreements and Non-Competition Clauses would have flowed like wine. TLG's butts are covered with a couple of inches of legal kevlar, so nothing is going to come out of this but sour grapes.
  20. I know some of the transparent materials aren't fully supported yet or some such - trans orange seems to come out opaque, not sure about others.
  21. I see what you mean. I suppose I prefer outlines for two different reasons - one being that it's easier to discern the different pieces from one another while in building mode. The other being that it looks sort of like a fancy version of the graphics from official instructions when you output a screenshot.
  22. I prefer it, personally. It looks a little more realistic to me, and helps in differentiating pieces used in solid blocks of a single color.
  23. It's odd how similar in design the Galactic Titan is to to the Bug Obliterator. It's basically a beefed-up version that's been re-provisioned to the blue team. Billy should have gotten a sleek starfighter with huge fastpack engines or something... instead of the shaft, again.
  24. Just wanted to pop in here to say I'm working on all the World Racers sets in LDD 4.3.x. I wanted to build a WR/GARC crossover MOC and noticed that most of them were missing from the LDD index and those that were submitted (8896 Snake Canyon and 8864 Desert of Destruction) need updating from 3.0. I have all but Desert of Destruction done at this point. So that's a booking of 8863 Blizzard's Peak 8864 Desert of Destruction 8896 Snake Canyon 8897 Jagged Jaws Reef 8898 Wreckage Road 8899 Gator Swamp

They took the A/C system out to improve the power/weight ratio, so the windscreen fogs up easily As I've said elsewhere, great work!
