  1. That is a great train station 'matn'. I like the way you made it modular.
  2. That is a great build Jameson.
  3. That is a great Modular Building papercia! The bay window looks good and the flowers are a nice touch. The first floor with the front door and windows looks also very good, especially the basement windows. The colors combine very well.
  4. I will be displaying my modular buildings.
  5. Those are two very beautiful creations.
  6. So they are stickers. We couldn't tell at the unveiling! Can't wait until mine arrives.
  7. I hope some of them will meet up from time to time.
  8. Oh that's easy: LEGO bricks of course! (I don't own a car... ) Seriously, they were already taking about running of oil in the end of the seventies, beginning eighties. But since then they made big advances in using smaller, less productive oil fields and other resources. Higher oil prices will make the use of more and more alternative resources viable. At the same time this use will drive innovation even more, and even lower the production costs of these alternative sources (but not as low as the easy resources). But higher fuel prices is not my biggest worry. It's the lack of plastics and other uses of crude oil that worries me. Luckily they are making progress in making plastics from organic sources like corn, which is already commercially in use.
  9. The left window on the top floor of the Lego 10190 Market Street always bothered me. The natural position of the lower market area module is to the right of the building so that the balcony has a nice view. This however means that the view of the left window is blocked by the side of another modular building like the Cafe Corner. I modified the window into a roof window. (The original window was below the modified window.) The new window is not blocked by the next door building any more.
  10. Those are beautiful cars 'danthaman11'. The best part is how you used the difference between the two sizes of curved slopes in the nose.
  11. Those are very beautiful buildings 'alex54'. The brown building is instantly recognizable as a seventies building. The balconies and the staircase window are perfectly done. The facade of the grey/white building is very good. The only comment I have is that it might even be better as a corner building like the original.
  12. I am not impressed. Yes, that are a lot of bricks, but it is not really a challenge to build. I would have been more impressed if it was a Miniland or Minifig scale version.
  13. Beautiful! That is a definite must have!
  14. The second floor windows look a bit unbalanced, too much wall to the center compared to the outside. So I would move the windows one stud to the center. On the example shown by Phred the first floor windows are also very close to the balcony. However, if you're not sure you could use an image editor to see the effect.
  15. Yes, the next event is Legoworld and then Goes some time in February.
  16. Welcome to Eurobricks Conner. Hope you'll have a pleasant stay here.
  17. That is a very nice modular building 'SpacySmoke', but shouldn't it be a bit higher for a New York building ? The interior looks very nice with all the details, and the upstairs looks also great. The arrow logo looks great, but I am missing the text. Maybe a re 1 x 4 tile in front of the arrow?
  18. Congratulations Ricecracker!
  19. And written by our friend Joe Menno. Added to my wish list...
  20. That is a very nice sportscar 'de-marco'. I like how the lights at the front break up the blockiness.
  21. That is a very good looking neighborhood BlueBard. I can't wait for the photos and the close-ups.
  22. That is a great neo-classical building 'hugosantos'. The detail around the window are very nice.
  23. That is a great record store 'kciR' I love the interior, especially the CD / DVD rack.
