  1. That is a great modular building with a lot of detail! The sign is fantastic with those cheese slopes extending beyond the rectangular outline.
  2. That is a great muscle car 'de-marco'. I like the way the yellow surfboard ads color to the car. And my complements for the excellent photographs.
  3. Well let me point you to my previous post on this topic. Appart from what I mentioned in the above post I always buy bulk bricks that I think I can use on events like Legoworld, Clubdays in Goes or Hardenberg, or Brickworld. And I seem never to be able to leave a LEGO Store or park without buying at least one PAB bucket.
  4. Welcome at Eurobricks Sebas. The slang term is 'set'. Are you aware of the existance of Bricklink?
  5. Yes, it really caught my eye when you were setting up at Brickworld. That fact that it is not on a square grids makes it inspiring. And as already said, great details and use of those slopes.

  7. Count me in for next year!
  8. Yep, that is the program I was talking about.
  9. I remember there was a program to convert a 3D model to Ldraw. I can't remember how it was called, but I think was written by a university student. When I get home I will see if I have a bookmark somewhere.
  10. I still don't understand how you are going to get it home...
  11. Can't be as bad as sixty people in a bus going to the employee store in Billund with a 50% discount! Anyway, make sure to take pictures.
  12. Wait, wait, are you saying that you're actually going to try to build this?
  13. Well, most times I start with a virtual model of a new building. This gives me a good idea of which parts I am going to need. Then I start building as far as I can get with the parts I already have in stock. This not only tells me which parts I need to order for the model, but also which parts I am out off. So I add these to the order if available for a reasonable price. Then I look for additional parts in specific colors I can use in future models. So I order parts: 1. Which I need additionally for my model. 2. Which I am out of (or low on). 3. Which are available in specific colors for future models.
  14. It is already moved to Water Tower Place, although currently in a temporarily location. The final location will be ready in August.
  15. Talking about Woodfield, anybody going to the Lego stores who is willing to take me along?
  16. Imagine how shocked I was when I went to the store and it wasn't there any more!
  17. Argh.... They moved the Chicago Lego store! (Don't worry, I found it after "trying" the IPad2 at the Apple store.)
  18. Those are great buildings 'cimddwc'! You've captured the Pet Shop style perfectly.
  19. Actually, I find the City vehicles pretty consisted compared to Technic models. Their scale is all over the place.
  20. Pizza sounds great Stash. I didn't know you did this last year until I got home after Brickworld.
  21. That is a nice station. I need to remember that stained window. I'ce seen stained windows before using fences, but the use of the turntable base is great. My only comment would be that the platform is a bit short.
  22. That is a great quad with some impressive SNOT work you made there Maks!
  23. Both look great!
  24. Instantly recognizable! Simply brilliant.
  25. That is a very nice pub you build there Leanne. My favorite part are the roof windows. I only think that the front windows on the first floor look too small. Oh, and I am missing a chimney on the roof. The chairs could also do with some legs. It looks like they are sitting on the floor.
