I'm annoyed at the detail of printing and the amount of new molds they get... Hopefully that's a good sign, though, if we do get a Supers CMF.

Do the new Chima (with their transluscent arms/legs) not have transluscent hands? And why couldn't they? 'Cause I don't see why that would be so unfeasable.

Why couldn't they do it like the most recent Death Star? $500ish, but with like 20 figures, the basic shape of the thing with little rooms built in from the movies... That would be what I would expect from a D2C Hellicarrier.

This. The only way I won't be irked that they're making a UCS Tumbler before a Marvel D2C will be if there are play features.

I'm short on time to write much, but I almost think that "rumors" in the thread title should be all-caps, because people keep seeming to forget that the thread is about more than confirmed or even semi-confirmed sets. And discussion will naturally ebb and flow further and closer. Discussing Super-hero titles that will almost definitely have sets based on them is going to happen, sorry. Regarding the size of the Avengers cast, I'd wager the movies will (aside from having a character or two sit out each film) be similar to either the LotR series where it follows Aragorn/Legolas/Gimili and Frodo/Sam and Merri and Pippin and Gandalf each seperately, just cutting back and forth among them, or the Hobbit, with 13 protagonists. They're all there, but yeah a few will get more screen-time than the others. I'd prefer the former.

I'm not a comics person, but I'm fairly sure it's been completely independent story-wise. Especially given how some were complaining that they're using Bat's villains.

I just wanna ask, because I loved it... is Young Justice still going? I only ever saw a couple of episodes, and I seem to recall having heard at different times that it was and wasn't cancelled. I'm assuming it was, if only because Lego would have no good reason to not make at least one set from it if it were still going.

I actually convinced my mother to pick the Daily Bugle up for me a while ago, being a poor college student, and I only have to wait another couple months 'til my birthday :P Still don't have Iron Fist either, unfortunately. He's in the $30 Doc Ock set from the same wave as the Bugle, though.

O_O Have you heard of Supernatural? Because it kindof has one of the biggest fandoms out there up with all of the BBC shows and Harry Potter and stuff. Not that Lego will make sets because of it, but... The CW isn't doing too poorly :P

I don't think anyone's mentioned that this guy was definitely* from the TV show Arrow, either. But he's not available to the public anyways :/ *I mean... unless there's a comic book version of him with the hood and stubble and such... But either way, he's pretty freaking close.

Guis. Have none of you seen Iron Man 3? He literally blasts a visible hole through the extremis guy's chest with the unibeam when they're on the plane. I've only seen the movie once and I remember that :P

Ugh, I was expecting the mill from Arkham City :P I really need to play Origins still... Looks like a great build, though.

If I may add, the title of this topic is "rumors and discussion." Rumors can mean a lot of things. On Arrow/Flash- I doubt we'll get sets from Lego alone, but I think there's a good potential for Cuusoo. I myself will probably get around to a project eventually, but if anyone with more Lego and time wanted to that'd be cool too :P

Maybe because people don't like bright colors as much. I mean, I don't know about you, but if I suddenly found out I had, say, super speed... I wouldn't throw together a bright red suit. as it is, I'm really curious as to where he gets the suit (maybe asks Ollie for help?) 'Cause there's no way he has the sort of budget for something like this unless it's home-made like Spidey's. Which in ASM was pretty 'frickin impressive. He must have been a pro cosplayer :P Time will tell. Meanwhile, the moment they have a proper Arrow/Flash crossover, somebody better make a proper Cuusoo project.

Unless you're referring to comics... Magneto's not exactly dead in Days of Future Past. Either way, the whole discussion over what the set's based off of ended a while back. I think it's safe to say that LEGO isn't basing the set off of any one specific comic.

Good catch there, on the name. I don't care to speculate on whom, but it would indeed account for the fourth minifig (seeing as there is room on the front lineup) if Starlord is shooting that thing to save someone from inside. EDIT: Starlord looks to have a hairpiece.. Didn't somebody say he's only got his helmet in one set and no helmet in the other? Also, I think the thing he's holding is a couple of handlebars attatched to Venom's back-clip-piece, with a 2x2 dish attatched (most likely by technic pin) and bucket handles on the top and bottom.

I will be greatly disappointed if the March 1st Exclusive is the Sea Cow... Considering it's announced by name and picture on the February Calendar, I don't see why it would be unnamed on March's...

We've already had a Green Lantern exclusive, technically. Unfortunately that one wasn't available to just anyone. I was a bit scared Manhunter was the SDCC when I first saw the link, but now I think I'll be ordering some Legos...

Agreed on Flash's headpiece. It's not necessarily a favorite of mine, but I love the 'fig as a whole. If only they'd given Cap a similar piece... Funnily enough, though, that's the only normalish (non-arctic) Batman I have, so I'm actually looking forwards to getting one of the black-suited ones :P Honestly, as much as I want to see pictures of the new sets, I've got plenty of catching up to do already. I'm okay with not wanting to spend any more money yet :P

Where else to get pieces from for your own Bat-vehicles? :P I got the Riddler Chase set as well as the Freeze set with Aquaman recently, and while I actually did enjoy both builds, I didn't care too much for the vehicles themselves. So instead, I just took apart both, and now I have a bunch more black to put into my Tumbler WIP and Batwing design.

Nice catch on the neck bracket part of the wings, I hadn't thought to look there. They do indeed seem to be transluscent. Finally picked up the Bugle (not to open for another couple of months 'til my birthday :/) last night, and when I was looking through the other sets I still hadn't gotten (namely the Doc Ock one- I'm not sure if I'll still try to get that or just Bricklink Iron Fist, since I'm happy with my slightly-altered Spider-Man 2 version of Ock) I noticed the same thing. I would be absolutely shocked if they didn't make White Tiger in the next Spidey-set or two. Personally I'm rooting for a high school set with Spidey, Tiger, and Coulson. Maybe Janitor Stan Lee... And wasn't that episode about the Lizard? We could still use a good official version of him, too. The summer wave is confirmed to be just the 3 GotG sets and the X-men one, though, right? Do we have to wait for next spring or at least mid-winter for the next wave after that? Or will they maybe be sooner?

You're all comparing the x-jet, which is half of a $50 set, to the Quinjet, which is the bulk of a $70 set...? Wouldn't it be more comprable to, say, the most recent Bat-plane size? That's half of a $50 set, no?
