  1. There is a need to have a airtight container and to have it like this in the video is the easiest way the hold the seal alive. The classic vaccuum truck sucks mostly very wet material which is not so aggressive to the seal like gravel and something similar.
  2. @Blakbird maybe you havent seen this before, because this type of excavator is new in north america. There are only 4 or 5 on your continent. Our excavator are vorking with a centrifugal turbine to create a large airflow. This airflow catches the material, gravel, sand and mud for example. This material falls in the container and the airflow will be cleaned by 42 large filters. In the housing ,where i have the valves placed, sits the turbines and blows the air in the exhaust box, where the silencer is placed and then through the flaps on the roof.
  3. Thanks guys imano, both are real, but the big thing in the background is more real skppo, fortunately i have easy access to the big ones
  4. 1. MTS Dino 5 on a Arocs Longnose The model is imitating a suction excavator and its functions. It is divided between suck operations and unload the sucked dirt Suck operations 1st boom raising and lowering by a 2x7 cylinder Boom rotation by two 2x11 cyilnders and gearracks 2nd boom raising and lowering by one 2x11 cylinder 3rd boom raising and lowering by one 2x7 zylinder Air outtake by one 1x5 cylinder Unload the dirt Stabilizers by 3 1x5 cylinders raise and lowering the roof by two 1x11 cylinders raise and lowering the dump container by two 2x7 and two 2x11 cylinders The compressed air is delivered by a 1x6 double pump compressor powered by a Pf L motor and a standard Battery box Some impressions The discussion topic you can find here
  5. a gt3 rs they have made, my young padawan
  6. The hardware is done the fake engine battery box, air tanks, fuel tank and other things to fill the gap The rim is simulating a hose reel The Black panel is imitating a rubber plate
  7. it is a bad feeling to know to have a part and couldnt find it. So i have made the seats a bit more coloured and completed the interior of the cab. the dashboard stickers are from the set 42008 on the outside is something happened too
  8. five days till deadline? maybe a silly question: a pure black seat or with a contrast colour on the headrest? the orange is only an example, because i cant find my other bionicle teeths in my chaos
  9. This model shows the big advantages of pneumatic. Full of functions in a small package. And the bucket is agood idea too
  10. or a freightliner maybe. in meanwhile i have done the machine housing and the air exits. they are powered by a small pneumatic cylinder edit
  11. nothing of these two. i will reactivate this one loosely based on this one. A western star for the canadian market
  12. The controls are nearly the same like at the big one, so this is not really a problem.
  13. The pneumatic part is almost done. only the compressor and a small gadget are left
  14. i dont know something about mlcad, but you have a typo in your signature
  15. Yes it is the suction tube. 14x9 slick tires with three pneumatic tubes inside
  16. actual standing after a strange weekend with a long troubleshooting one of my T-Pieces was half blocked and had reduced the airflow to the container cylinders on the back and had blocked it under low pressure.
  17. wow, very smooth , but fast movements. Could you please share some pictures from the drivetrain and other interiors?
  18. i think this would look a bit messy, even with rubber bands. because iam waiting now for the small tires it is time for the first chassissketch. The rear part is including the boom rotate mechanism, a steering axle with ackermann geometry and a short travel suspension on the drive axles
  19. Could you please make a more relaxed video? Put the camera on a solid surface and present the functions. A shakey cam may be good on blairwitch project, but on a presenting video this is not a good way.
