it seems that you are right. i guess they are 94,8x40 that would fit to a original fat unimog tire. only the pattern is wrong. A "V" pattern would be look better. the bad thing is, that they are too wide for a realistic looking truck. I think tlg will never get it in their Head. Ok, the ugly thing have a suspension, and it seems that it have a torque tube chassis, but i think they have not used new parts for this.

Models for 2H of 2011

TLG must have presented a very big surprise for us, which they dont want published before their own second halfyear catalogue. is the extreme cruiser an RC motorbike or something else revolutionary? -

if we would see it like this way, then Lego truck trial is a funny way to kill the gears -

on the front axle i use two rahkshi chest sections, two linear actuator holder, six of the new black perpendicular axle joiners, two black gear racks from 8043 and a mini LA. all other parts are more or less "standard". but the problem with ldd is that it have not all standard parts. maybe it is mit possible with SR3d. it has the most special parts and all standard parts many thanks, and no this gears are not yet broken by me -

thanks so, the windscreen is added, only the seats are currently missing and i have a current weight of 1250 grams. i think it is not enough from the weight on the front axle. look the vid the battery (lego LiPo) is currently behind the rearaxle. i think i must find a place under the hood, but in fact there is no space. an other hard nut -

in which category do you would set a massive axle with torque tubes like this? Would you call it a "live Axle" or is it a own category? -
Lego Hydraulics

we know, we know the valves must be in the reservoir, that could it work like real hydraulics. -

the cylinder that you describe is the old one with one intake. the cylinders with two intakes have a X-ring which is pushed on the rod. the only probnlem which i could see is the popping off from the hoses. -

thanks to get more grip i have lay yesterday evening a bedspread over a 120% ascending slope and the willys (with not finished body and 1:7,722 Gear ratio) climbs it up as would it drive on the flat ground. So it seems that the low gear is not neccessary but i make the gear switch remoted however. the factor of limitation is only the grip, because the limit on a slick surface is roundabout at a 105% ascending slope. btw, since the vid i have build the drivetrain a little bit smaller gallery A Unimog body should not be a problem, if i decide to build one. but first i will finish the willys body. -

hm, well. a high gear ratio is not longer a problem because the portalaxle works great. but thanks for your help -
LEGO Nissan Patrol 1980
efferman replied to Ramacco's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
i think not that it is to heavy. his patrol weights 1,3kg and my drivable willys chassis without the Body weights 795grams. He made a very good job
