  1. Well that's what I haven't decided yet >:-) .. and since they are pirates, and they made a mutiny on their captain I'm not sure i will let this have a happy ending *skull*
  2. Maybe that would do it. Mine is, as you say, 8x16. SlyOwl: yes i should proably work with my backgrounds, when i'm doing MOCs. So for next time i will get you a more plan background X-D And you're right that the chest and the barrel isn't necessary. But I put them there before i placed the pirates.. so didn't realize that it was too crowded.
  3. It's an incredible army of clones you have got. And i like the creative idea of your MOC. The silvery swords are cool, but in generel the LEGO-clones are not good in my opinion. But it's a great MOC. Looking forward to see some more.. preferably with real lego bricks if you can get some.
  4. Thanks for the review. As someone said the armada-wannabe ship has a better design than the actual LEGO-ship. The designs looks a lot like real LEGO-sets, but the colourdifferences gives the clones aways. From the closeups it's pretty clear that the quality of the plastic is poor compared to real LEGO. And the colours has got a weird shade. I'm i bit confused why you have THREE sets of LEGO-clones but none of the real sets X-D But thanks for the pics *y*
  5. I agree with you, that it looks very nice with the blue wall as water. but unfortunalty i haven't got a lot of blue bricks so i can't go SNOT 8-| But thank's for the tip anyway :-D
  6. Normally I see the threads that's in the bulletins before I recieve the bulletin. But i think they are good anyways. Especially for users who only checks out the site occasionally I think it's brilliant with a monthly newletter/bulletin.
  7. It look royal. It's not the most militant vessel you'll able to find. I like the colourscheme and the minifigs. Also the cannon is good i think. But I'm not very fond of the back mast and the way you can "destroy" it by pulling a stick. I gave it 3/5
  8. I see your point. next ime i'm gonna make a whole new one instead of ruining the old one i think ;-)
  9. Okay.. so I've made a mocette. I'm glad you all liked it. I think I will follow this one up with another MOC with the pirates further fate. But i haven't decided what is going to happen with them now. >:-)
  10. I found my old pirateisland - with changes. I had forgotten that i've done does. But i had not taken any pics so i did today. But since it has been placed on a shelf for some months it's a bit dusty. Someone said that the tower could do some work, so I made some changes. And the one asked for a treasure.. so now they've got one. First the old island And now with the changes The old one from the back And the new one Some said, that the old guy could use a hat.. so i gave him. And then of course the treasure The folder when public Hope you like the changes. And sorry that it have taken me months to take the pictures
  11. I've made another MOC.. not sure it's a vignette though.. But I'd like someone to tell me the definition of a vignette. For another time :-$ I decided to follow the pirates from my other vignette and their story after they made a mutiny on their captain. The pirates from Captain's Mutiny killed the too soft piratecaptain James. But they forgot who could read the map. They ended up in a storm and since no one could read the map they couldn't find out where the reefs were, so they sank the ship. They rescued themselves on to a small cliff island and manage to salvage some parts from the ship. Including a part of the mast and one of the sails. Now they have made a cover from the sun. But how long will they survive on the small island without food and fresh water? Do they now regret that they killed Captain James though he was very soft for a pirate? Of course they've lost their hats during the storm. So this is how they look now Before the pirates got stuck on the island it looked like this I've made the island from scratch by small plates and bricks. It took a great amount of time to make it so i was satisfied with it *sing* This is how the bottom of it looks The folder when public Hope you like my little story and my MOC. Comments are very velcome *sweet*
  12. Well of course not.. it's pirates I see your point. But i couldt figure out how to make it look different at the time. But I'm glad you liked it anyway.
  13. I like the way you use your free time X-D It's a nice little scene you've made. but poor pirate.. all alone on a small cliff. What when the tide is coming? Hope the barrel can help him.
  14. I felt like building a vignette and this is what came out. Hope you enjoy it. The crew on the ship was too bored with their too friendly and non-violent piratecaptain and decided to make a mutiny to get rid of him. The good captain James was just trying to please everyone and not make too many unhappy with their plundering and stealing. So he never killed anyone just for fun or let the crew enjoy some of the prisoners. In the end his nice character was the dead of him. The folder I'd like some comments on my first vignettes so i know what to make better next time :-$
  15. YARR.. i'm in for the pirates. the others a some bloody scallywags.. arhh...
  16. Hm.. you say something. You a probably right about the pagansy. I just didn't see the megablock-sign at first.. Is it possible to change the title of this topic from lego to megablocks instead? EDIT: i see that you've already done taht. Thanks :-)
  17. Found this lovely figure on brickshelf. It's a creation from a toystore in New York. What do you think? From the side (with dino in the back) The folder Would be nice with some more closeups.. But the moc is bpretty cool. I hope someone will try to make The Black Pearl with crew scale 1:1 :-D
  18. Benk has the finest and most pirate-like look i think. So my vote goes for Benk once again
  19. I voted for Benk.. also though of CVSPIS CELIDVS, but it's too long compared to the hight i think. But still a great ship. Also considered pietje, but in the end i found that Benk was the best one.
  20. i agree ;-) .. it's terrible... i do so much not like those 4+ piratesets |-/
  21. It such er handsome fort. Like the way it's build in the rocks. And the habour in the cave is just so cool! Only thing i miss is some more close up pics.
  22. Nice fort, but it looks rather deserted. The pictures is a bit dizzy, but indeed it's a nice fort. Like the white/red coulorscheme.
  23. First time i saw these pics was when i surfed around on BS. And at first i though "what is this. Is this really a LEGOset?? I don't think these guyes look right". i wasn't aware that they really was a "fake" set untill i saw the titel. Point is: it's easy to see it is not real legoset. The figs' heads are odd. Like a square. But the swords in silver is okay i think. And the parrot. Just for som change in the colours.
  24. Think we do Folder with pics of the set 4939 Besides i'm agree that the colour is a bit aggressive, but i think it's so cool that it is made out of the set 4939.. which is yellow.
  25. Mini 1d Found this, and found it cool. So thought you would liek it too. The creater has taken the set 4939 and made an alternative model. The folder
