Well at some point they have to reintroduce Western, I can't imagine they wouldn't do that because I think the theme was very succesfull back then.. I hope if they reintroduce the theme, they also make a few sets in the old western theme style as a tribute or something. I'm affraid that the new western theme will not be aible to combine with the older, as Lego now has a lot new pieces (for example the new horse) and the newer sets are all a bit different styles then the older 90's sets. but that doesn't mean i wouldn't buy it, I would definitely buy all of the sets 2 or 3 times and maybe make 2 different towns of it and don't try to mix the old and the new together.

I hope your right, as a big Western fan I would love it to come back. It's been a long time now since they made the last Western set, so I wonder how long it'll still take them to reintroduce the theme.

Love how you build the stairs, and the way you used the palisade bricks (or aren't they palisade?)
-
Verry nice! Would love to see that wall behind the throne up close

Hello everybody, I want to show my whole Cavalry army with you, I'm pretty proud of it because these figures are hard to come by these days. Right now I got 101 figures but it'll get bigger. I'll also make a few pictures of all my Indians next week.

Nice MOC, you could maybe build in some action, for example one of the knights falling of the horse when he got hit.. Thats just what I thought of when I saw this MOC HaHa

Nice! Like the candles a lot

Thats a nice collection, it would look better more detailed but I guess its not yet finished. Good job so far!

Welcome to eurobricks. Looks like you'll be bussy for a while with so many new sets.

Hi fizzley and welcome! Its crazy how you end up with tons of Lego in just a few weeks after starting with it. Same thing happened to me, i got overwhelmed by how many new sets there were.

Wow! This is really nice!

Thats a really nice collection! Looks like the king will have enough food for a while

Don't think about what peaple say to much. At the end its your life an you can do what you like with it. Just don't forget to go out with friends sometimes and do other things than Lego. Lego is really fun but its not all there is in life. Try to find a balance you feel comfortable with, then you'll be really happy. And NEVER sell your Lego (if you don't need the money) you'll regret that!

Welcome Aaron, better late than never!

Thanks for posting the picture because my streetview didn't work.. As I can see on that zoomed in pic there are lots of different bricks. maybe even better than a normal PaB-wall. The variety of the bricks looks greater than the normal PaB this way. like you said maybe you'l have to spend more time searching for the right bricks, but I don't mind that. (I enjoy doing so) I do already got a blue pass so in April when I'm back in the contry I'll definitely go and check that store out. Instead of going to Germany I'll start in Den Haag, then pass by Oisterwijk and at last Wijnegem. that would be a great day!

Yes maybe its best to start your own topic, I don't mind myself, but I don't think its useful for other members to have to read all of this. I'm very curious about your fort and the rest of your town, would love to follow your progress in its own topic.

@Jodawill Wanted to send you a pm but didn't work, so here's what I wanted to send. Hi Jodawill, I just took a look at bricklink and there's one for sale really cheap 3,75 euro. The store is in the Netherlands and the shipping costs are 3,15 euro (because the plate is just under 100 grams) so totaal 6,90 euro. (Don't know how much USD) This is the store http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Steendorp Look at Parts and then click Baseplates, Road Kind Regards Ritsz (Miguel)

Good Work! Really like all your army's, would love to see it all together

I'll look around for those road baseplates, but like you said I think the shipping costs will be quite a bit to ship from europe to the USA. So maybe its better to pay a litle more and buy in the USA. That fort is looking really great. Better than mine! Offcourse for me its all about keeping evertything as original as possible. (but I'll definitely try to build a nice fort later on) I thing that if you keep building that fort in that same style it'll look great when finished! I'ts nice to see someone doing the same thing as me, building a Western layout. You can send me as much pictures as you like, I would love to follow your progress. If you want you can send me your E-mail adres by private message and then I'll E-mail you mine. The minifigues I pay an average of 2,30 euro for the Cavalry's and 2,40 euro for the Indians. If you want to know more I don't mind helping you with it. Right know I've just placed a few orders containing 28 more indians, fully with weapons and a few indian horses. And a extra Weapons Wagon 6716, and 2 more cavalry figures.

That PaB-wall on the picture in Den Haag I think is the one in Oisterwijk (correct me if I'm wrong). Den Haag does have a sort of pick a brick but i was told its like a big tube where at the bottom of the tube, you can get the pieces. Probleem is that there are only a few tubes (5 or so?) and as they get 15 different types of bircks they just fill them up at the top everytime, so you'll understand how thats going to work out.. Appart from that I think the stores will be all the same, so if your nearby you can go check it out. I just took another look at the pictures, and if you take a close look at the left picture, you'll see the tubes that I was talking about (just behind the window)
