Your welcome! I do have to say that the price for the cups is 1 euro more than the original Lego shops. But like you said, if you live near that store it's always great to go and have a quick look if there's something new in the wall. The other stores, Den Haag and Rotterdam are smaller and don't have a PaB-wall like Oisterwijk. (That's what the guy in Oisterwijk told me) BTW he is the owner of www.brickshop.nl, he explaned me, that the site went so well that he could start with the store on his own costs. So without the help from Lego. Thats the reason why it's not a official store, however he gets all the sets and PaB-wall parts the same way as the official stores.

Really nice! Would love to see everything together when finished

Welcome to EB! A few years ago I used to play guitar in a Metal Band. We used to cover everything from Nirvana to Metallica to Sepultura to Children of Bodom. Even some punk and rock. Our own songs were in the style, something like Machine Head

Welcome Singularitie. After getting back into Lego I also was confused about how many new colors there were.

Love the walls and the brown log panels build in the roof. Is that a key on top of that hanging light? Looks great! -
Only have one set unopened set, 6765 Gold City Junction. To be honest I dont't know why I bought it, I guess because it's quite a rare set when still unopened, and I couldn't resist not to buy it. But know I'm thinking of selling it again because I need the extra money for some parts. Don't know yet, maybe I'll wait a few months (hard to decide)

Hi B Rick, since you are from the Netherlands I can tell you there is also a Lego store in Oisterwijk (near Tilburg) http://www.brickfever.nl/index.php?pagina=oisterwijk-experience-center- I'ts a unofficial Lego store but they have evrything the same as a official store. Exclusives, PaB,.... And you can park your car right in front of the store ( 2m to the entrance) And there is a official store in Wijnegem shopping center (Belgium) wich has been opened recently. If you want to know whats in the PaB-walls http://www.brickbuildr.com/view/pab/

Today I got the idea of making a cave in the ''Gran Canyon'' section. The inside of the cave will be visible from the side when finished. I think I'll make a treasure room in it with some sort of a booby trap, So the bandits can play Indiana Jones a bit. I just finished the entrance.

Hi Zeussoid, I love Castle almost as much as Western. (Wolfpack, Dragon Knights, Royal Knights, Fright Knights,... mostly from the 90's) Just a while ago I got a bit tired of collecting Western and was considering to begin with castle. I think it had to do with me admiring everybody's nice collections and after a few days I wanted to start with it too. But thinking about it a lot, I decided to first finish the Western layout I have on my mind. It'll take a 1-2 years I think. I just began collecting lego again past summer and I'm still ''young'' (25) so I got plenty of time left to collect all those theme's I like.

Great job, love how you made that water around the boat. Really nice!

Welcome qiadris. I was born in Spain to (Torrevieja). It's interesting you got lego when you were young because in Spain it's all about Playmobil. Especially in Onil (Alicante) where I'm staying at the moment, (here is where most of Spain's toys are made and) there are several Playmobil logistics halls, but none of Lego.

He another Belgium member, Welcome. Where do you live?

Thanks for your helpful reply! I live in Belgium and some of the year in Spain, but I prefer the US names more. I like Flatfoot Thomsen the most, also because its whats printed on the poster.

For me there are two styles. 1. When I want to expand a specific theme by adding extra vehicles, buildings... I like it to be in the same style as the original, and that particular vehicle or building has to look like it came originally out of that theme. 2. When building a MOC appart from any specific theme, I let my imagination flow and even use ''illegal'' techniques. Although I prefer using the ''legal'' techniques as much as possible

Well it's never too late to start buying some western sets, you just have to be patient and look for the bargains. For example I got set 6718 for 4 euro and set 6746 for 5,50 euro...
-
Thanks! The cliff will be all in that changing shades style, but above the cliff I'll make it all with the old grey rocks to match the style of the Western sets. Thanks! But still could learn a lot from your layouts, I really like how detailed yours are! I got exactly 100 Cavalry Soldiers and around 50 Indians (have to count them). But I think you can never have enough of both haha

Hello, Here are some new orders. More cavalry, and a few Indian torsos-leggs. Also 6799 Showdown Canyon and 6748 Boulder Cliff Canyon (don't have a pic). Now I have all the Western sets! Dark tan BURP's and some extra pieces. What do you guys think of the rock wall? Its suppose to look a bit like the Gran Canyon... And this is the idea for the hanging bridge. (the grey rock's are just temporarily there to support the bridge)

Thanks for the advice! I was planning on doing that later on. First thing I want to do is to have everything placed on the right spot. After that I'll start working on the details. For sculpting the landscape I'll need a lot of plates wich I dont have right now. I'll definitely do that later on when I got the money for it. Hello, I have 4 x Bandits secret hideout, and then I had to search really hard for those baseplates. 3 of 4 I bought separately and the rest I think 10 of them in one go. I contacted a guy who could get them for 7,50 euro, but he also had a hard time finding them. I dont mind helping you to find them if you want... How many do you need?

I just love the feeling I get when I hear a knock on the door, and the mailman brings in a lego package. After waiting several days and fantisizing about how the set would look in real life, its finaly there.. Also everytime I walk passed the door of the lego room, it's very hard not to open it and take a (100th) look. Have to say that a look takes a little bit more than 1 min.. before I know it i've been building for several hours..

Just received some new orders today. 6 indians and a 2845 set (for the indian in it). And some extra bricks for the Gran Canyon I'm planning on making. And a big order with tan baseplates, lots of Cavalry and Indian torso's and legs, bandanas and hairpieces and other little stuff. My Cavalry army and Indian army is getting bigger and bigger.
-
Nice diorama! You got quite a Islanders army there. And love the look of the Dark Green plants

Thanks for the advice!! I've deeplinked all the pics now
