  2. I saw the Lego Clan trilogy on utube. These are my favourite films ever!! Lego Clan I Lego Clan II I also like Heat, good film yes, especially the bank van robbery and De Niro! :-)
  3. This harbour is turning out to be fantastic. Would you ever consider adding a small mountain behind one of the left or right half of the harbour? You could use multiple big grey one-piece bricks, I dont know what you call them, but you probably know what i mean. I think it would be nice to have a big of unbuilt on land around the harbour, maybe a small stretch of beach :-)
  4. I was watching loads of lego films recently and I have listed my favourite below (a trilogy). These are absolutely amazing :-) *y* *y* *y* *y* (WARNING- there's the odd shooting etc..) Lego Clan I Lego Clan II Maybe you have other good films?
  5. Congratulations hobbes! *y* Its a good buy!
  6. what equipment do you people in general use to make these? just handicams or digital cameras? if you have a collection of pictures i.e. frames, what do you use to turn them into an animation?
  7. Here are some roofless cars collected during the last few years I (or more, my brother) bought lego (probably late 90s, early 00s) The appearance of these type of car designs signified the start of lego going crap (for me). Axle, it's true there are a lot of knackers in my lego city, but they did not nick the roofs :-) Yes this is exactly part of what I meant. And I too think that the Vikings theme is a good theme. However themes come and go too fast these days , not just firestations :-( Of course vikings never wore horns in their helmets, they weren't that weird. I do agree and yes it's not an insult :-) I did buy two sets recently, my first proper (ie not old baseplates or plain bricks) sets in maybe 6 years. I bought 2 trucks called the Heavyloader. I didnt make the real sets though cos the scale is modern, i.e. the truck wouldnt fit on one half of a road like a truck is supposed too. But no harm, i bought two of these to make a suspension bridge :-) with the spare bricks Im making a crane for a railway yard.. I am desperate to buy some real lego. The shops dont have it. But soon I will get a credit card, hopefully, n get some old sets on ebay :-) On a more positive note, I have finally finished the lighting of my stadium
  8. I think Italy will win
  9. I chose 6236 King Kahuka! Because it was on 0% :'-( Now it's on 5.88% :-)
  10. Why is the dog smelling this guy?
  11. Anyone have a photo of lego pirate treasure / coins, on a white background?
  12. Yes all companies over package to try and fool idiots. It should be illegal, not cos its fools idiots but cos it wastes resources *y*
  13. Yes I do. I think its overpriced rubbish. Pity the viking sets didnt come out in the 80s- early 90s, the TLC would have used more bricks in the sets then, and perhaps they wouldn't be a rip-off. As for TLC having to resort to taking on other companies' trademarked ideas e.g. Batman, Star Wars, I think its SAD
  14. I downloaded it and it works fine for drawing train track layouts (thanks again EP Hobbes). Darth, if you want I can email you the files, however there are alot (maybe 20) but if u put them in one folder it should work.
  15. Thanks alot Hobbes *y* This is excellent for the railway part of my map !
  16. I want to make a map of my city's roadplates on my computer :-) Does anyone know if it is possible using some programme that has various lego baseplate images? (for example old grey plates of 80s, 90s and green base plates of various buildings like airports, police stations etc) I have seen that some people have made very good maps of their cities so maybe a programme or baseplate image collection does exist somewhere?
