  1. I just think you need 1 or 2 boxes of standard bricks to make some more buildings. Any way to get the rail off the roads? Grey baseplates make towns look alot better so perhaps a visit to Ebay some day?
  2. Personally I feel Trains are as part of Towns as road plates so I am undecided. Certainly collecting Train theme sets without any Town sets for background seems weird to me. As regards set quality, I think in the past the Train sets have usually been better than those of the Town.
  3. thanks Brickster.. I hope you aren't revealing your secret love for Playmobil =) Yes, forgot that this suits the Customisation Forum more than Town =) Some more for Inter Milan fans...
  4. Hi all, Thought I'd share some of my custom torsos.. for football clubs.. Lots more strips coming online here hope you like!
  5. That's super! Thanks alot, I didn't expect you to go fix it up ! Thanks.
  6. Thanks for the comments Guss and Klaus-Dieter. I will post pictures of other street scenes soon hopefully and will take on board the recommendation RE: the traffic lights!
  7. hi Computerbug, Yes, exactly like that image but higher quality, that's all.. You have a different version?
  8. Hello friends, I am wondering whether anyone can help me. I have been searching for a high quality classic space logo, the one with the yellow planet, red spaceship which is on a red torso. I do not want a torso picture however, simply the logo. Something similar to this http://www.classic-space.com/images/emotes...ault/cslogo.png but with a red background. Any help much appreciated. Cheers, David
  9. Thanks for the idea rriggs. It is a good suggestion and I will try it with such lights (if I have enough - would need 8 transparent lights per traffic light) to see how it looks!
  10. Thanks :) the LFC grafitti is for Legoland Football Club
  11. Just 2 small street scenes I made. Hope you like.
  12. Came across these today, not sure where/if TLG used them. Seem a bit harsh..
  13. That is probably it alright.
  14. Good question, not sure. Maybe whatever machine holds the piece before painting holds the piece in place there but I don't know.
  15. Welcome Brickule, I have just checked out your neat site. Some interesting stuff indeed, Leginton history caught my attention. I also enjoyed your MOCs especially the planes! All the best!
  16. Hi Aramor. I like this little humvee. Reminds me of the South African Apartheid era security forces trucks somewhat. Only thing that I would alter is the red wheel axels.. You don't have these pieces in grey or black?
  17. Ha! Just saw a picture of Witch's Magic Manor. How lame a set, has impressive fortified entrance, only problem being so side wall
  18. I was pleased to see this set as I was years waiting for something similar, however, due to the roadsigns / traffic lights I won't be buying this. I would like to see a "type 3" set of just women. Lose the roadsigns. They should be in another set with fences, trees, or something.
  19. Hi Bob. I think you did some great improvements. Good job The only small things I would modify are (1) maybe make the front a little less flat looking, perhaps by adding some 1x2 columns or planting some trees or something else? (2) the steps may look more prominent if only around the doorway and not the entire length of the front. Also if they are built a little out for before the steps start as in this example:
  20. Hi. Good creation. I am wondering whether you could use the arches that are on the bottom row near the top row instead and have columns underneath. Often such styling makes buildings look more public / governmental which would suit in this case. Just wondering, you mention the building hasn't much of a back to it. If I were you I would do away with that back altogether as I am assuming you are somewhat short of bricks. I would first make the 2 parts of the building either side of the door look the same (symmetry). You should be possible to do this as you have a fair number of similar pieces visible in these pics. The columns I would use from ground level and the 2 big arches (grey) I would use connecting to each other to form the main doorway..
  21. Basiliscus gave me some seller links The Green Brick Giant, did you buy them years and years ago? Any on sale still somewhere?
  22. LOL I think everyone is underestimating the brilliance of the Jack Stone figs! I am sure they will be valuable collectors items in the future Thanks for the wishes of luck though..
  23. I only like 4 wide cars!!!! I break up my 6 wide ones and reverse engineer them!!
  24. Hmm I didn't know you could have "too many" Jack Stone figs. Well at least now I know what they are called
