  1. You guys like Raptors right? I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of those. I missed out on the Indominus last year, so hopefully there'll be another big dino set like that. I would adore a Stegosaurus or somesuch, but that's doubtful as Herbivores don't make very good threats apparently for toy makers. You need a big mouth and lots of sharp teeth really.
  2. This really is awesome! I like how simple and clean you've kept is so you can really focus on the action, which also is awesome. I do agree with Umbra-Manis about the railings though. It's actually quite nice to see few mocs cropping up again in this forum recently. I don't think it has nearly enough and I might start dabbling myself again when I get some time!
  3. Text can read a lot of things. :P
  4. 2 Duplo, 3 Juniors, 5 normal theme. Lots of dinosaurs. Rawr.
  5. I hope he's not in it. That Joker shirt didn't end well for Batgirl. :(
  6. Here's a handy montage for my hopes! and there's also this in the making of book...soooo.
  7. Well there's definitely quite a few options left!
  8. My hopes for the series. 1: Bat-Lady 2: Lady-Bat 3: Soccer Mom Batgirl 4: Gala dress Barbara Gordon 5: Harvard for police training outfit Barbara with baseball cap and reversible head with yellow glasses. 6: Trenchcoat Barbara Gordon 7: Mermaid Barbara Gordon (From the bloopers) 8: Batgirl with glowing eyes 9: Friends are Family Batgirl 10: Surfer Batgirl And then...maybe some other figures. There were probably some other characters in the film or something, I don't know. They could probably fill some slots.
  9. Coincidental I'm sure! :P But it would indeed be nice! :)
  10. I ordered one of each of the big cats recently and a few other bits to flesh out the order. I received it the other day and it had everything except the big cats... I mean really, that was the main part of the order! Pfft! They should be sending me them along soon thankfully,
  11. I don't think it would happen anytime soon. LEGO is such a big brand name, it would be foolhardy for Disney to go against it and not utilize it for their own gains. I don't think Disney could offer anything to the market that would really compare, then again, they'd have Star Wars and Marvel soo, would it need to compare? >< Regarding the original post, they seem to be using the Juniors line a bit more these days to push franchises. I mean Cars 3 was an entire line inserted into the juniors theme. It definitely gives them incredible potential, and some are certainly on par with the traditional sets with regards to playability.
  12. Or it could well be a sort of Ben Reilly sort of Spiderman. But who knows? And the Batman could well be a sort of all black variant!
  13. I'd wager something mellow, upbeat and colourful, used in a certain Jamaica Caper. Something hot and arsonistic (if that's even a word!) and maybe a suit to accompany the shuttle with part 87754 which I'd bet on being black.
  14. Great review, thankyou! I adore the colours on these, and I think the flower is probably my favourite! ^^
  15. You say that.... but this guy had them! ^^ So they're not totally against it. In some ways though, I think Reverse Flash looks fine in the colour he is. I think normal yellow could be a little overwhelming without anything to break it up on the arms or legs, but then again, maybe not! Either way, they all look like they're wearing onesies without leg printing or dual moulded legs. Superhero pajama party time!
  16. They look a lot better in the close ups to be honest. And I'm glad they gave Flash a little bit of new printing at least! And I really like the flame pieces in the legs on Firestorm! I'm also quite interested to see what the purpose of the power units is.
  17. There are definitely some nice aspects to these sets, but some big disappointments too. Reverse Flash looks very plain to be honest, but it's nice to get him. I'm trying to work out what he's holding too. I think it would have been a nice opportunity to make a location based set with the Flashes, given the popularity of the TV show. Star labs break in or Flash Museum Battle etc etc. The vehicles in it just look....eh, and as said, Killer Frosts hair is a bit..not great. Cheetah look nice, and is that a tail piece she has? I think all the accessories are a good gimmick for the Superhero line as potentially it allows more play in location based sets as we all know LEGO love making all sets vehicles because of the play value. I know LEGO were using the LEGO Batman movie to bolster the DC Superheroes line long term and open up new avenues, so hopefully this is only the beginning of that! I do wish those Flash figures were nicer though...*Sigh* And no Streaky... *sigh* :p
  18. I feel the way they have dealt with the highwayman is totally appropriate. He's been hidden in the dark until the last minute, then jumps out and takes your money.
  19. You can never have too many Batgirls. Never.
  20. This is a the only Brickhead I got and was very happy with it. So happy in fact that my friend bought me another one! I was never really fond of the whole Brickhead idea and design but after building one, I may be won round. It's interesting that you note about the colour scheme just popping, as that's one of the main reasons I really fell in love with Batgirl costume in the movie! And, blimey, she really does fall over as you say. Great photos and review. :)
  21. I think the real questions are.....Why wasn't this a thing sooner? And why hasn't it arrived yet?
  22. That thing is the greatest.... One of my favourite parts of the movie.. ^^
  23. Wow! Check out that Surfboard. What a lucky guess that was. >> This series is littered with wonderful parts but not so sure about some of the final designs. I really love the Gourmet chef and Vet. I'm not entirely sure I can handle the dance instructors hair just now though. It makes me fear for my life. Although....wouldn't it make delightful Professor Trelawney hair? Also, I must say, there are some fabulous mustaches in this wave!
  24. As nice as all the images are, I do recommend this. I got the book the day it came out for £12 and love it to bits. I tend to get a lot of making of books, and though they have lovely pictures and everything, they don't tend to explain a lot. This one does! Lots of useful information!
