Since when has Evil Willy gotten a new leg and hand?! I really hope that this isn't SlyOwl. Other than these questions, I think you have done a good job on this MOC. I think you did a good job on the interior. Do you have a picture of the cave entrance? Hopefully you are able to catch (most of) the pirates.

I clicked, I saw, and... ...I don't know where I was going there. They look pretty awesome. They seem to be more of a dark blue though. Are we caring about the darkness of the red or blue for people's coats? I wonder if the US had copied them? Sounds like you need some Musketeers

What is your source for this information? Could it be possible that blue coats could be French OR Dutch? I also use this representation. Why can't we all just... ...get along? I have some Dark-blue coats that represent American Marines and officers with a couple of red coats to represent the ship's band.

For better yard arm spacing I would attempt to create sails like Admiral Croissant did with his Vesta I am going to attempt to create "similar" sails with my BSB MOD that is complete minus the sails.

I would never buy a MOC that was glued. I would take a bazillion pictures of the finished product and carefully take it apart for easier re-assembly.

I am not bringing anything and just attending during the public hours on Sat. My room at the Westin is reserved for Fri and Sat nights. I am ready!

Now these are just freakin awesome! I really like that the anti-rectangularness of each house and the roofs. I personally would like to see some more color in your future buildings, especially any "mansions" and businesses. The color scheme for these houses is great. An idea would be to use a similar color scheme with some dark red for your captain's house. As Derfel mentioned, fishing huts would also look great too. I look forward to the future progress of Fort The Town of Brighton.

In case you may not know, it is generally frowned upon to post a reply to a thread that is more than a month or two old when the new post contains a one line complement. More established members have already posted their comments when this thread was current. It's alright to post in older threads when something more significant is added to the topic, such as an update to the MOC, a question to the builder, a testimony of how the MOC was an inspiration, replying to a poll, etc.

CaptMc, It's not that I don't have any ideas for simple modifications to the ship for increased realism or playability. I believe almost all ideas for improvements are already shown in the forum. I would suggest that you search for these MOCs and MODs in the forum or view our MOC indexes. I look forward to seeing what type of MODs you have done to your set.

I have the original game with the War Chiefs expansion. I do not have Asian Dynasties and never found it for a price I was willing to pay. Now, I don't even see it in stores anymore. I really enjoy the game and have leveled up with my favorite civilizations. I really enjoy the Iroquois. I think their cannon is just awesome. Their cavalry and navy are horrible. However, armies of heavily upgraded cannons and tomahawks seem really hard for any computer player to beat. I think of myself as a boring person to play with because I enjoy turtling. I've seen lots of game forums that hate playing with turtlers.

Great idea for a MOC cb4 What is your source for the plans of this Xebec? I would like a higher resolution picture to create my own Xebec. I have a (hopefully) simple idea to improve upon your rudder. Instead of using + + + to attach the rudder. I would use + + + could then be closer to the angled edge. could be rotated so that the stud is facing out and perpendicular to the angled edge. I believe there then would be fewer and smaller gaps in your rudder assembly.

Isn't it the Anakin Skywalker head? As Zuloo mentioned, there typically won't be any MOCs in these pics and they usually don't have to be custom figs either. Primarily a photo of a fig with a cool background to show off our photo skills (from what i've seen in the similar threads in other forums).

I really like the buckets. They will be very handy! I am sure they're going to be very expensive on BL.
