Done. I had to shorten what you had in your subtitle to fit the additional text.

I recommend that people who have their own town LDD MOCs to show them in their own topics. It will get real confusing with one LDD MOC mega-topic filled with a lot of MOCs made by a lot of users. Great MOCs will likely not get commented and be missed from other creators busy posting their MOCs in this topic. This topic should only contain your own creations.

There's a link to the instructions in the Lego Rockband Topic. I'm not sure how long this PDF will be available on the Lego website, and I was hoping to build this (eventually). So I saved it and took screen captures of the PDF. The images are in my PicasaWeb album.

Great MOC, but you may want to check to see if there's a limit to the number of photos in your first post.

Granted I have no authority whatsoever about acceptable overhang in this contest, but I definetely would allow that overhang. Great work.

Your Minibus looks a lot like the Camper Van in Lego Rock Band. It's a good design this type of vehicle.

I hope you don't mind. I wanted to see the MOC better, so I increased the size of your posted Flickr images.

I don't think Modular towns should be a bunch of buildings that are 2 to 4 story only. In actual towns the variation can be pretty crazy in towns that I live near and others are "neat and orderly". If you check the Google Street View of Cedarburg, WI, USA, you'll a lot of variation in adjacent lots. At the intersection of Washington and Turner on the east side of the road, there are some "modular" style buildings next to a small parking lot, then a house with a driveway, then some more modular style buildings. On the west side of the road there are some modular styled building north of Turner St., but then there's a 1-story bank south of Turner. Then, there's a few houses after the bank with one modular styled building by it self. In Port Washington (10ish miles away from Cedarburg), almost all of the downtown buildings are 2-4 story with a modular style. I think it doesn't matter if buildings will look terribly out of place next to each other (like in Cedarburg). It may be part of the character of that particular layout.

Your vessel is coming along very nicely Cap'n. I really like the light blue. How come there aren't any cannons on this vessel? It's too bad these don't come in reddish-brown. I'd prefer those over the 1x1 round bricks stacked on top of each other. I'm not liking the transition from a 2 stud diameter to a 1 stud on mast. Do you think hockey pucks stacked would look better than the 2x2 cone brick? I really can't think of anything better to use.

I do believe there is a picture limit in the post for your entry. I'd show your old version in Post #3.

I've removed your over-sized images and changed them to deep-links. Member guidelines state that the maximum size for posted images is 800x600 (or 600x800). Feel free to re-post the images in your first post once you've down-sized them. Thanks.

Congratulations on making the front page Allan! Nice Ogopogo! I didn't know people from other hemispheres knew about them. Unless there are similar sea serpents near New Zealand?

Eurobricks site guidelines don't allow images larger than 800x600px. Larger images really slow things for those without ultra fast internet connections. More photo upload sites are also allowing you to downsize images right on their site, such as Flickr and PicasaWeb. If you wish to discuss these limitations, you may do so in the Website & Forums section of EB and discuss it in a topic similar to Reminder: 800x600px is our max picture size! Until the guidelines change, don't post pics larger than 800x600.

So can Regulators. I've changed your over-sized images to deep-links. Per Member Guidelines, posted images are not to be bigger than 800x600, and rarely need to be more than 640x480. I suggest reading the member guidelines again.

This MOC looks like it could be modular. Is it?

It seems a little big to me, but then again I am used to only frigate long boats. Captain Green Hair and Errorist made an excellent one ages ago: It had put mine to shame at the time, which didn't use any SNOT technique: Inspired by Captain Green Hair's and Errorist's I built this one:

I would place your final images in your first post. I am certain that the staff in charge of the contest will not want to look through an entire topic when they're checking that the entries meet the contest guidelines.

Don't bump old topics for a simple one line comment unless you have something add to the topic. You should review our Site Guidelines and Topic Bumping for additional guidance on topic bumping and other guidelines.

"Town People" are encouraged to commment in this MOC's topic in the Technic/Model Forum.

Your images are too large. Down-size them to 800X600 maximum per Member Guidelines, or I'll deep-link the posted images. Thanks. Edit: Why did you post your Verryboat a third time on EB? Rick has already told you to not post the same MOC in multiple forums when you first posted this MOC in the town forum.

Hoexbroe, Your Gas station looks fricken Awesome! However, the first two images of your post are larger than what is allowed per EB guidelines. Change this soon. Thanks.
-
How did you know?! Great idea and thanks for sharing!
-
Now that's a great reason to bump a topic. Congratz on having your model displayed!

I've deep-linked your posted images that were too large. Per member guidelines, images are not to be larger than 800x600, and they rarely need to be more than 640 x 480. Feel free to re-post the images once you've down-sized them.
