  1. Just so you know, your images need to be maximum size of 800x600 per Member Guidlines. You typically don't need images larger than 600x450. I have down-sized your images to 800x600. Keep this in mind when posting images in the future. There are tutorials available in the Tutorial Index to down-size photos.
  2. Thanks for the great review Hinck! It really helped persuade me to get this set. I just have to say, I really like cupcakes! My only complaint with the cupcake brick is that I'd wish the cake would stay in the cup. Otherwise, it's a really good set.
  3. I really like your layout Farnheim. Thank you for sharing. You MOCs and this Layout have caused me to become more of a fan and appreciate 4-wide MOCs and sets. This post is hardly constructive and I don't like its tone. I would be more courteous and mindful of your future posts.
  4. Unless you have a question about the MOC, important news about the MOC, or wish to discuss how this MOC has inspired you; don't post a very short reply in an old topic.
  5. My preference is that the BSB is very nicely scaled as itself with length, width, rigging and sails. I found a couple of good examples of rigging for expanded BSB's: and In case you don't know, I found these in the Ship Index
  6. Agreed. He should create a separate topic for his town.
  7. I used that brick in a gunboat, and with a similar hull brick I created a small cutter (a long time ago).
  8. I think the Elder scrolls roll playing games could be a good example of a mixture of relative accuracy and fantasy. Two characters of equivalent skill levels, would be close in combat capability if one uses defensive and offensive magic spells compared to another who uses a bow and armor.
  9. I agree about using an exact Caribbean map and the factions. I like the idea of having Red Coats, Blue Coats, and Armada. Each of which could be (loosely?) based upon the British, French, and Spanish respectfully. Looking at the admirals posted map and see that the fourth faction could be similar to the orange republic, where it has become an independent country. Pirates could be a separate loose cannon faction that works as privateers for some empires or on their own against all empires. Of course there would be a pirate haven (like Tortuga) for all piratey types to find safety.
  10. Relating to the GoH as best I could, the map of the Pirate "Guilds" could look more like the Caribbean than a large continent with each faction having at least one large island (similar to Hispaniola, Jamaica, Cuba) and many small islands. People can build land MOCs or ships. Following suit with GoH, each portion of the "Caribbean" could have completely different types of islands and seas. There could be cold, deep seas with very rocky islands; and warm, shallow seas with lots of beaches. Each faction could have its own group of privateers (maybe even pirates). Each faction could be based off of actual countries, but include our own ideas. I don't think we should worry too much about the level of realism, but find a way to include everyone. POTC has a lot of magical elements while Master and Commander is very realistic. It could be interesting if both of these worlds met.
  11. Congratulations new sherriffs! The only deputy reporting in! If you have any dirty work that needs to get done, let me know!
  12. It appears that you are correct Jay. (an image from one of the Pickup Truck MOCs)
  13. While indexing old (really old) topics with posted images that still work. I came across this gem of a brickshelf find topic. These brickshelf MOCs are awesome in many different ways. I really like Pnorm's use of access to engine compartments and storage like in the Intercity Charter Bus. There are a lot of great 4-wide MOCs. I think Pnorm's BS folder would be a good source of inspiration for different types of vehicles to build. When (if ) I start building city vehicles, I'll definetely be checking out this thread for inspiration for bricks that I have along with vehicles I'd like to make. Below is a "mini index" of Pnorm's MOCs:
  14. Town Vehicle Contests (continued) From the City Vehicle Competition #4- Firetrucks! (V-C) 1. 2. 3.
  15. Town Vehicle Contests (continued) From the Halloween Pumpkin Car Contest: (V-C) 1.
  16. Town Vehicle Contests Hot Rod Contest 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
  17. I edited the title of this topic so that it matches with other reviews in this forum.
  18. Great job on all of these MOCs. They were a pleasure to index. I think my favorite of these vehicles is the Blue Fury. That is a great idea to create a MF version of a wonderful set.
  19. Nice work LT! I've always liked sliding doors. Now we need to have it automatically open when a MF stands at the doorway.
  20. Bregir, I changed your over-sized images to deep-links. If you want to post images on Eurobricks, member guidelines state that posted images are to be a maximum size of 800x600. Feel free to check out our Index of Tutorials if do not know how to down-size images.
  21. Thank you Bricksboy.
  22. Your over-sized posted images have been changed to deeplinks. I asked in your previous topic to ensure that your images are no larger than 800x600 per member guidelines.
  23. I posted one of your deeplinked images in your first post to hopefully generate more responses to this MOC.
  24. I have removed your attached image from your first post and posted a copy of this image from C-T's account. AwesomeTaylor and Brickbox have already given you some great information. I prefer to host my images on Flickr or Picasa. It's up to you in the end though. There is an Index of Tutorials right here in case the tutorials that BrickBox aren't quite what you're looking for.
  25. Wow! That's a lot of creations. I look forward to seeing them. If you have an idea as to how to group your MOCs into separate a few mega topics, feel free to PM me and we can discuss it there. Although I would make sure you know for sure how you want your mega topics organized. The EB staff and I won't need to be rearranging your topics and posts every time you want it organized differently. I would not have a set rate at which you post your MOCs. A lot depends upon how many people are responding to your posted creations and how many creations you post at a time. Keep in mind, people who frequent the board may only visit EB once a day or once every other day. Excellent! I am glad you became an EB member.
