Great work Voodoo Hand! I noticed something different about your merchant ship and i couldn't quite put my finger on it... Then i realized that the ship's built on a standard hull, only sideways X-O I've never seen that done before. I saw four mocs in your pirate folder when i added the thumblinks (hopefully i didn't miss any ;-) ) I added your four MOCs to 3 of our indexes: The Merchant Fleet was placed Vigs and Diorama part of the Landbased MOC Index. The stranded pirates were placed in the Military Land Based MOC Index. The Merchant Ship was placed in the Ship Index. And the experimental method to make ships has been add to Accessory MOC index. (i'm wondering if you've ever built a ship with this form of construction?) I'd like to see more pics of your piratey creations ;-) Thanx for sharing. P

Well, I'm back home from my summer internship; now i can start actual construction on the USS Constitution *wub* I've completed the custom figs (the officers and marines) as far as i can right now: Also, since the construction of the DDW has been halted at her near completion, I've sent my brother's French forces back home in dukeschunke's lego room X-D Feels good to be back to all of me bricks >8-) I can now begin some serious construction of the Constitution! P

a sixth rate is usually considered a frigate would you like a flush-decked frigate or one with a fore and stern castle? P

LOL :-D That's funny, i have used those hats on some of my pirates though :-$ I think those hats started to be used in the mid 1800's. I think ZCerberus has tried this, To make the ship longer: Where the hull pieces join together, you could use white plates and to make the ship longer. It seems to work OK without using hull pieces. Also, Added this ship to the Index of MOC Ships and added your 3 types of MOC Cannons into the MOC Cannon Index nice work on those MOC cannons *y* P

Hmm, I've never seen a ship that had the stripe end right before the bow :-$ Well, now i know they exist ;-) Sweet! Once i get a close up of the cannon, i'll add it to Index of MOC Cannons. *y* P

Yes, i mean to ask all of those questions X-D Let me know when you've moved your pics to Brickshelf so i can update the indexes :) The thumbnail pics turn out nicer on BS than flickr ones, and, unless i'm mistaken, you can have as many folders you want and have folders in folders on BS. *y* P

Nice MOC so far Captain! *y* The only suggestion i can think of is to have the white stripe, if possible :-/ , to wrap around the front of the ship. How many cannons are (or will be) on this ship? Also the cannons on the Spar Deck, are those MOC cannons? If so, i'd like a closer pic when you get the chance X-D For free places to put your pics online i suggest brickshelf or photobucket. Getting rid of the island category would be logical and would make the placement of future MOCs easier. For some MOCs it has been difficult to place them in a island or Non-Military Section. If it's ok w/ B, I'd like to (slowly X-D ) get rid of the island section and move them to Harbor, Military, and Non-military instead. Good idea Nathan *y* I'll look into these specifically and take a quick glance at the other thumbs to see that they're in the right spot. I thought i had gotten all the islander and armada MOCs onto the other indexes :-/ I'll have to double check that in the near future. P

What a goof i am! :-|| I mean, how did you (not I) use that back drop X-D Oh my! 8-o It already looks like a complete, modularized MOC Hmm... Let us know when it's done and i'll update the pic. A suggestion about your flickr albums. Would you be able to make separate folders for each of your creations in the future? P

Definitely a good use of a backdrop *y* How did you use a back drop Added this MOC to Index of Land Based MOCs. Great MOC and great detail. I like how the Cafe was converted to a jail. Never would have thought of that. P
