i use cheap typing paper and gluesticks :-D have the print quality at the highest so that the ink soaks into the paper (or sticker X-D ) to help get rid of the white edges when i cut the paper. I use decals for custom figs (like US Marines of 1812) otherwise i don't use decals (yet ;-) )

I agree they belong in a category of their own only i call this category mini-fig packs. Except for the first one i'd consider as imperials The "pirate" in that set is often used in imperial sets too P

I suggest reddish brown plates personally X-O Reason being is that there are more and more stores that have that color of plates and they seem cheaper than tan. On a small BL order i recently received, it was 9.4 cents each for 18 4x8 plates (totaling $1.69). Also spent another $4.75 on 55-60 other rown plates. Just a thought X-D P

You know i've learned a little bit about this from watching Reboot on veoh.com. Sometimes when there is deletion, the user may reboot the entire system and put everything back to the way it was from according to season 3 of reboot. So unless the user reboots, nothing comes back from deletion. X-O P

What's the "format" of the armies in the index? Do you want them all to have a link to the EB thread they're discussed? I can only hope the discussion ends in my favor ;-) P

I guess that would be true since i don't have any land armies right now ;-) P

Well now that i've completed my halloween entry and sorted all the bricks from the DDW, HMS Charlie, the Xebec, and any other set/moc i still had together; and almost done sorting all of mini-figs. I can work on the Constitution at full efficiency (meaning there won't be 5 gallons of unsorted bricks in the way X-D ) I've got this book today from the library and looking forward to reading it. Skimmed through already and looks very informative. Thanx Paladin. *y* The other book is on the way. While sorting my mini-figs i got sidetracked and made the US Marine musicians. I got the idea from B's army v 2.0: I'm really happy the way they've turned out X-D : (the decal on the torso is actually very close to the same shade of red as the MF, the flash makes it look otherwise |-/ ) A pic of the backside of the drummer: And a pic of an actual Marine Musician: Now to work on the ship. :-) P Edit: Well i've made my first attempt of the capstan of the constitution. According to the pictures i've seen there are supposed to be 12 poles sticking out from the capstan. This is really difficult to do with lego so i brought some friends over to help. ;-) They were also kind enough to try out the capstan so see how well it could work. :-D

I've just finished sorting all of my bricks from the HMS Charlie, DDW, the Xebec and any other partial projects that i started but didn't decide to complete. Just gotta finish sorting my men now. There was a lot of bricks. P

Well, it makes sense to me why you'd put an extra deck on it. Cause then the ship will have a berth or orlop deck (or basically the sleeping deck and storage deck respectively) but i don't understand why tan is used |-/ at all, i'd prefer it if white, black, red or brown were used instead of adding another color :-/ One thing i do like about it is the fact that there are pirates at a lego convention! *y* P Edit: Still filed it into the Index of MOC Ships though. X-D

The characters look great in those rag-tag outfits :-) Would you consider this MOC a military or non-military? I'm having a hard time deciding where to put it in the Index of Land-Based MOCs. I put it in row 7 of military for now. P

I picked orcs cause that what the little green guys seem like to me and the trolls are just big dumb brute force guys that're submissive to the orcs' evil plans. P Edit: I agree with what Khorne says here:

Woudn't it be henry hudson, who the hudson river is named after that runs through new york city? I read about him when i read about the exploration ship the half moon replica. and based my Halloween Contest MOC off that ship. X-D P
