Mr. Timber and his silly toy boat came to check on the progress of the Constitution. :-P I mean Mr. Tiber. :'-( I got some of the decking done in the bow. And also figured out where to place the foremast. I'm sorry Mr. Tiber! X-O At first glance one would think the accessibility to the gundeck in the bow is not very good. 8-| But a good portion of the flooring is removable. Ok! Ok! I think your boat is really aweso- *skull*

I do like that there are more 6W vehicles like the garbage truck, fire trucks, patty wagon, concrete truck available recently. TLG has made the limited edition Steine Land Plice Car, which is vey nice, and with slight modifications, could hold a couple of MF's. I agree in general TLG could do a lot better, but it seems they're moving in the right direction. *y* I also would like to see more realistic car doors. |-/ These are really awesome looking! X-O It would be spectacular if TLG made cars like these. *wub* P

No problem guys. *y* The idea came from aaron morse in his heavy frigate thread. Just don't buy any from the US, they're all mine. :-P A good portion of the bow is "complete" now. I just changed my mind how to do the coloring so i have to redo it, so there'll be pics as soon as i'm done rebuilding the bow. P Phredit: Got a good portion of the bow completed. I really like the way it looks. *sweet* It's pretty solid too. Haven't figured out how to mount the bowsprit on, but it shouldn't be too difficult. I got different sizes of the BSB flags too when i printed them at school. But that doesn't mean much cause there isn't any type of photo software at school. Although the sail that i scanned seem to be ok. I can scan my other BSB sail if you'd like Axle. P

It turned out better than i thought, and it's the right height that i needed. Not too sure about the spar-deck walls. 8-| It's been easier to put them in so far compared to the last constitution. Of course, any part of this MOC is subject to rebuilding at any time with out notice :-P P

I concur with Mr. Tiber *y* With lego cannons i think a minimum should be 6 studs from center of gun port to center of gun port. In my replica of the constitution, the gun ports are 8-9 studs apart from center of gun port to center of gunport. Great capstan too, I love that it's fully functional too. It adds playability realism to MOCs. X-D P

I love both ships, both are pretty close to the same in beauty *y* so i voted for the one that was the most original. B's P

The bow will be pointier and have the upper berth deck walls and gun walls connected a lot better. The deck will be rewn. The gray plates are just for added support. Thanx B *y* The new one will look very close to older version. Only stronger. X-D P Phredit: Here's a comparison of the old interior and new interior of the gun deck walls along the bow so far. Here's what the old version looks like. Notice how there are 3 different angles on the walls. One at the very top, one at the wall of the gundeck, and one just below the gundeck. This sacrificed a lot of strength. |-/ Here's what the new version looks like. There will only be one angle on this portion of the wall and add a lot more strength. *y* It looks a lot cleaner now and the wall of the upper berth deck is connected to the wall of the lower gun deck, which gives a lot more strength. Phredit number 2: Well I preformed Bow Transplant Surgery today. It went a lot better than i thought it would! *y* Check it out: Unfortunately the donor of the Bow didn't make it. :'-( Let us have a moment of silence for Version 2.0 of my Constitution. *sad* Anywayz, here's a full (semi-blury) pic of my progress so far on Version 3.0 of the Constitution: I also made some really nice blurry close ups of how each gun port is built. I had enough tiles to have the doors complete for the 16 gun ports. (though i don't have enough 1x2 tiles for the rest 8-| ): With version 2.0 i was stuck as to how to progress to the spar deck with all the crazy angles of the bricks and such. Version 3.0 should progress more quickly by the way the gundeck walls are looking at the moment. *y* Also, the bow is now strong enough to support the weight of the entire MOC so far at almost any point. When i add the decking and spardeck walls, the bow will be even stronger. X-D

Hmm, gonna haveto think on how to incorperate the info. Cap'n Ka-boom, if you're able to print out the requested sail at lowest quality from our 1:1 sail library. Then you'd have the exact dimensions of the sail on paper. P

Well i borrowed Casewindu's shield. The shield told me i should start over on my constituion again. And of course i listened: I finally got some free time today and worked on my constitution. The ship on the left is the one i've stopped working on, and the one on the right is the one i started on today. The second main reason i started over was that the bow was too weak for my likings, so i sacrificed a little accuracy to get a design that's much sturdier so far. *y* Also the interior is much cleaer than it was before too. X-D P

I've only gotten the Cannon Cove and Emporer's ship off Ebay. Otherwise i almost always buy from BL. The sellers there seem more reliable too. P

For sure *y* In M&C the HMS Surprise had a crew of 197 souls and it was a 28 gun ship. I saw 63(ish) MF's in that pic. lets see... (for)tymes(six-T three) is two times Gamma(6); then add the denominator of 0.083333333333333333333333 and i get 252 souls on that ship. That's a lot of ppl. Maybe you only need 3 times the amount. X-D Unless of course it's an american ship, then you need to put way more ppl than you need. :-D BTW: This frigate is looking awesome so far *y* P
