  1. DC doesn't have the same ammount of media exposure that Marvel does, which is why they have more room for comic based sets in their yearly line up.
  2. The minifigures are another thing to consider. There are far too many X-Men characters to realistically be included in one set, and by combining the Mansion, a Sentinel, the Blackbird or the Danger Room together it lessens the chances of many ever appearing in Lego form. Just look at the X-Men team alone - Xavier, Cyclops, Jean, Beast, Storm, Iceman, Rogue, Angel, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, Colosseus, Gambit and Emma Frost are essential if you want a lineup of all the mainstream media characters. Thats 13 minifigures right there. And the count only gets higher when you throw in other characters prominant in the comics (Havok, Psylocke) the B-listers (Forge, Jubilee, Banshee etc) and costume variants. On top of that you also have the villains to consider - Mystique, Sabertooth, Juggernaught, Apocalypse, Mr Sinister, Blob, Toad, Silver Samurai, Pyro, Avalanche, Lady Deathstrike, Sebastian Shaw etc. Without a cartoon on air to support the line or a license for the movies, the chances of us seeing many X-Men sets are pretty slim. The few that we do get Lego should try and cover as much of the lineup as possible.
  3. That custom Vader is pretty awesome. The only thing that could improve it is a new multi-piece helmet.
  4. Am I the only one not all that excited for a Prologue set? Especially with the next LOTR wave potentially being the last, I prefer to have some real locations covered than just "a small pile of rocks".
  5. Any sightings of the new Star Wars sets? Would be nice to grab them while the sales are on but they don't appear to be in any of the catalogues.
  6. I'd love a new Imperial Shuttle. Its been far too long since the last System scale one. The big question is who should it come with - updated versions of Vader and Palpatine, or Luke, Leia and Han in their Endor camo?
  7. Tan would probably be a better colour than either grey or flesh. Both Wormtongue and the Mouth of Sauron from the LOTR sets are using it to depict their pale skin. The only downside is that Sidious wouldn't be able to use his current hairpiece from Palpatine's Arrest, although Dooku's white hair would probably look more accurate on him anyway.
  8. I prefer a Revenge of the Sith version. Sidious wears the exact same costume as in the Clone Wars, just he wouldn't come with the crappy anime face.
  9. Would be nice if they came with holes on the sides for adding accessories like the Clone Trooper helmets. That way we get the option of having Citadel Guards as well as the regular Gondor soldiers.
  10. I wouldn't mind a set of Lothlorien. While Galadriel could always come in the Hobbit sets, it would be our only chance at ever getting Celeborn. I think Lego could come up with something quite nice if it was based on the night scenes with the glowing parts. Still the Golden Hall is my number one most wanted location outside of Minas Tirith.
  11. What does everyone think of Tauriel's minifigure now that an official still of her character has been released? I think she might have looked better without the brown corset since it makes her figure look a bit too dark in colour. I'm glad they went with the regular Elf hair though. It looks much more accurate than Arwen's would have.
  12. Tower of Orthanc review - http://translate.goo...=619749&act=url
  13. Seeing how many characters in the Lego Lord Of The Rings game ended up getting identical minifigures released in sets, what do you think the chances are of the Fantastic Four showing up next year?
  14. Thanks for the review. Its a shame they didn't include Obi-Wan's helmet. They could have easily just reused the Mandalorian one. I'm glad we're finally getting a Nikto though. The Clone Wars style print isn't too noticable and makes a great addition to Jabba's crew (now all we need is a Quarren, Yak Face and Klaatu) Cad Bane is a little bland compared to the previous figure, but his head is useful for customizing generic Duros for the cantina.
  15. EDIT: Nevermind
  16. Thanks. I'm not sure how I forgot about him. I got a feeling we'll be seeing quite a few of these next year. The B-Wing I think has the strongest chance since we've recently gotten redesigns of the other 3 rebel fighters. Another thing we should keep in mind is the minifigures. The past couple years Lego has been sure to have each of the main heroes available every year. If Lego were to continue this cycle (with at least one new Padme and two new Luke and Leia figures) it may help to narrow down the possibilities of whats in store for us.
  17. I'd grab this if it also came with Eowyn.
  18. It was just an opinion. I find a little redundant having a collectible minifigure line used as an easy way to army build clones, battle droids and stormtroopers when we already have the battlepacks and even the planet sets serving that same purpose. If you're going to include common figures that people can stock up on, why not focus on the factions that are unlikely to get their own battlepacks? Naboo Soldiers for example, or Mandalorian Police, Nightsisters, Utapauns, Nemoidian Warriors etc. Or focus on various species like Kaminoans, Jawas, Tusken Raiders, Rodians etc. I guess what I'm trying to say here is a Collectible Minifigure line should take the opportunity to give us something new and not the 100th battle droid in a new colour. What about seperating the Cantina and Landspeeder into two seperate releases in the same wave, kind of like Jabba's Palace and the Desert Skiff? It would cover a lot more characters this way. Landspeeder - Luke, Obi-Wan, R2-D2, C-3PO and Tusken Raider(s) Cantina - Han, Chewbacca, Greedo, Dr Evazan, Ponda Baba, Garindan, Bith Band member, Sandtrooper and Dewback
  19. Does anyone know if any stores are getting Arkham Asylum this year?
  20. While a collectible minifigure series sounds nice, I wouldn't want to see the slots wasted on generic troops like clones and battle droids when we already have the battlepacks for that. I rather see the line fill out the gaps regarding characters that would be unlikely to ever get made in a regular set.
  21. We already got a non-CW Mace Windu in Palpatine's Arrest and the AT-TE.
  22. Lego absolutely nailed this one. Couldn't ask for a more perfect set. I'm glad Lego finally decided to give Luke dark tan hair. Also nice to see a generic Ewok Warrior instead of just named Ewoks. Hopefully we'll be seeing more of this little guy for army building purposes. If you look at this pic you can see she has dark tan hips and printed panties. http://www.fbtb.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/10236_front_001_mainvillage.jpg
  23. Looks absolutely amazing! Amazing details, great minifigures. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect set.
  24. Thats the regular ROTJ Han. Endor Han is when he was wearing the camo trenchcoat from when the rebels first land on Endor up to when he gets captured by the Ewoks.
  25. Why not put Faramir in Minas Tirith?
