Im probably in the minority that prefers the Jawas without the capes. They look more film accurate that way.

Looking at the set numbers of this year's SW range on Brickset there's definitely a missing spot for 75057. Could be the TIE Advanced we saw in the Yoda Chronicles trailer. We did get two retail exclusives last year (HH-87 Starhopper and Jedi Defender) and both the TIE and MTT would match those price points.

Awesome news on a new TPM set! The new Naboo security guard and PK droid look great and its good to see leg printing on Qui-Gon. Can't wait to get a better look at the set itself looks (I'm assuming its the MTT seen in that video) Its a shame she isn't included, but hopefully the fact they're going back to the Battle of Naboo means we might see some more sets in the January wave like the AAT and Flash Speeder. It would be an easy way to include Padme as well as some new Naboo Palace Guards (the red uniform ones)

If the exclusive figure is Palpatine I prefer we get the Senate Duel version. Classic Palpatine in the black robes can come in any retail set, but Senate Duel Palpatine is less likely to happen with Lego moving away from the PT and TCW.

I'm pretty satisfied with the Blackbird. Its a lot smaller than what I would have liked but its still a well designed set. The Sentinel should have definitely been a separate release though. Something around the size of the Ent from the Tower of Orthanc set would have been perfect!

They're inclusion makes sense if Erebor's design and play features are based on scenes from both the second and third movies. Like how the Death Star covered both ANH and ROTJ. And if not... well since when has screen accuracy mattered that much to Lego with character selection anyway? Either way Kili and Fili should both be somewhere in the next wave solely because of their importance to the story of the third film. We already got all 13 dwarves in the first wave. Rather than get all 13 again or waste slots on the pointless characters like Dori and Bifur who spend the whole movie in the background not saying a word, they should stick with the dwarves that actually matter.

I second a new Zam Wesell. I was disapointed she didn't show up with last year's line up of AOTC sets.

Anything with Mother Talzin please. She's too awesome not to be a minifigure. Lego even has the perfect mold available for her fiery lightsaber thanks to the newest Chima sets. Not for me. TPM is probably my most wanted since there's still quite a lot left to cover - namely updates for the AAT and Flash Speeder, Queen Amidala's Royal Starship, Gian Speeder, Trade Federation Battleship, Trade Federation Landing Craft, a proper Watto's Junkyard, Theed Palace and more podracers. Don't get me started on all the minifigures I'd like from TPM...

Would be great if the MTT and TIE Advanced came with Captain Tarpals and Grand Moff Tarkin. I'd prefer Boss Nass and an updated ANH Leia over another Jar Jar and Ben Kenobi though, especially when the latter is already coming in the Cantina.

The bad guy can still be involved in a lightsaber duel without being a Sith Lord. Just look at General Grievous, Pre Vizsla and Mother Talzin.

Disapointed there's no mention of Lando. Hopefully he'll at least make a cameo at some point. There's still one more female character that hasn't been cast yet: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=99071 Still I hope they give Leia a substantial role in the film, especiallly in light of Han having a gigantic one in the new movie. If they fridge her early in the movie to motivate Han I'll be very disapointed.

The 2013 poster included the retailer exclusive minifigures, but the 2012 one didn't. Another thing worth mentioning is the 2014 poster for the first wave didn't include the minifigures from the Micro Fighters either. A new Emperor Palpatine minifigure is supposed to be coming in the near future but there's no sign of him here.

I can't think of much in the older films thats worth going back to. Most have either already been covered or will appear again in future movies. The only thing I really want to see is the Batmobile from Batman 89/Batman and a Michelle Phieffer Catwoman minifigure.

I disagree. They're going to show up at Erebor eventually and the set is likely going to cover the events of both the second and third film. Rather than get all 13 dwarves again (or even the 9 who confronted Smaug) I think Lego will only stick with the characters that play an important role in the final film. My guess is we'll see around 7 minifigures - Bilbo, Thorin, Balin, Kili, Fili and two others. Maybe Gandalf and armoured Thranduil assuming they're not in the BOFA set.

I can't say I'm bothered by this. I've enjoyed plenty of EU work but have never been under the illusion it was anything more than tie in material. The whole idea behind the EU being C-canon reflects this (i.e. this story is canon except its not really canon in the movies and cartoons) Previous EU work is still going to be available under the "Legends" banner. Just because its not canon doesn't mean people can't enjoy a good story.
-
I'd be surprised if Lego doesn't include Kili and Fili in the new wave. They might not have confronted Smaug at Erebor but they do play a more important role in the BOFA over the other dwarves. I wonder if we'll also get Tauriel in her Lake-Town outift? The one in the game does look like one of the more official designs.

The biggest problem with this list is there's no variety. 8 out of 10 sets are all based on the MCU with a very similar theme. There needs to be a better balance with the other Marvel brands. For me something like this would be more ideal: 4 sets for Avengers: Age of Ultron Its the same number of sets we got for the first Avengers film. You'd still be looking at roughly 15 minifigures which would be plenty to cover the six main heroes (Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Hulk, Widow and Hawkeye) as well as the newcomers (Ultron, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Strucker and Vision) while leaving a couple extra to spare. 1 set for Avengers: Assemble Cartoon/comic based set. Great way to include Ant-Man and Wasp without basing the set on the new movie, as well as villains such as Winter Soldier or a real Mandarin. 3 sets for Spider-Man (or 2 for Spider-Man, 1 for GOTG cartoon) Based on either the USM cartoon, ASM2 movie or a mix of both. Coulson can easily be thrown in here rather than Agents of SHIELD. The number of Spidey sets would depend on whether Marvel has the GOTG cartoon out in time. 1 set for Fantastic Four Comic based movie tie in like this year's X-Men set. S@H Exclusive - X-Men The X-Mansion.

I think Bard is more likely to show up in Lake-Town than BOFA.

Its a shame they haven't made a Phieffer Catwoman yet.

The new MTT looks pretty cool. A little smaller but still better proportioned. Hopefully its real. Boss Nass is long overdue. I kind of hope for Captain Tarpals though over a new Gungan Warrior. Those would both be great. Lego nailed the design of the AAT with the Clone Wars version but it would be good to get it in the classic tan colour.
-
Not really. I find the show to be pretty average overall and the cast would make some pretty bland minifigures without any real superheroes or even uniformed SHIELD agents. The also show doesn't seem to be that popular - certainly not for any merchandise tie ins. Just one set is going to shelve warm like crazy. With there being so little from X-Men and nothing from Fantastic Four, I think there's bigger priorities out there than Agents of SHIELD.

Or they could just ignore the ears. They're so small that a new mold might not be worth it.
