I don't think so. The new style horse has already appeared in 12 sets outside the LOTR theme. I believe the reason its available is simply because its a widely used mold.

I'd like to see more of these hologram figures sculpted after specific Star Wars characters. Darth Vader, Nute Gunray and Commander Cody would all be awesome. At the very least they have to make one of Princess Leia for her message to Obi-Wan in ANH.

I don't think leg printing would have added much. Even in the comics its just a boring costume. I've never been a fan of it or the original First Class outfit.

I'll be surprised if we don't see Green Lantern in a set next year. We know he's getting a LED light figure in the near future and the design is identical to the one in the new video game. To my knowledge Lego has never released a LED light/magnet/keyring figure of a character who wasn't also available as a standard minifigure. He was also originally rumoured to show up in a set this year, and its not unlikely for Lego to have held off on releasing this set to make up for the lack of Batman vs Superman next year.

Even if the X-Men themselves are barely featured, hopefully we'll still see a lot of classic villains and supporting characters appear on the show. Some have already shown up in other cartoons from the Marvel Animated Universe like Sabretooth, Juggernaught, Sauron and soon Ka-Zar. It would be great to see others like Mystique, Silver Samurai, Lady Deathstrike and Omega Red - especially if there's a chance they could appear in potential Lego sets.

Thats great to hear. Its been too long since the last X-Men themed cartoon. Although as much as I like the character, I'm a little disapointed its going to be another Wolverine centric show. I would prefer something like the original 90s cartoon that focused on the whole team, without any gimmicks like the "X-Men in high school" angle from Evolution. Still hopefully a new show will bring in more X-Men sets.

I just hope we get some new villains next year. A classic Green Goblin would be nice to get eventually but I wouldn't mind seeing some new characters that haven't been done before first before more repeats of him, Doc Ock and Venom. I also hope we get another non-costumed supporting character along the lines of Jameson and Mary Jane. We still haven't gotten Gwen Stacy yet while Norman, Harry, Aunt May and Peter Parker could all use updates from the original Spider-Man line.

I think the Hulkbuster stands a better chance of being a buildable figure like Groot and the Sentinel. I can't really see Lego releasing two big figures in the same set.

Thanks for the new pics. The completed figure looks fantastic and much improved over the old one. The leg printing really adds a lot to the figure despite the simple design.

I think four is the perfect number. Its enough to give us all the major characters in the film. Anything more will take away from the other Marvel brands, and we can only get so many sets per year. My ideal line up for Marvel's 2015 range would be: 4 sets for Avengers: Age of Ultron 3 sets for Ultimate Spider-Man 1 set for Avengers: Assemble (perfect excuse to include characters like Ant-Man, Winter Soldier etc) 1 set for Fantastic Four/Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon 1 D2C exclusive for X-Men

Nice to have confirmation that we'll be getting some AOU sets. Hopefully Lego will give us a decent range of sets from the film while still balancing out the other Marvel brands (Avengers Assemble, Spider-Man, X-Men, GOTG and potentially Fantastic Four) Set photos show she's going to have the same style as the first Avengers film. Fingers crossed we'll get a new figure using this piece:

Not yet. Just leaked pictures of the torso and head.

I think the piece that Clone Wars Count Dooku uses would look the best for Tarkin.

Thats disapointing we have to wait until after the sales. Is there any word on when the new Superheroes sets are coming out? -

One thing I don't understand is why Lego is still using the black hips on the Stormtroopers when they could just print the black undersuit on the legs. -
The shape looks more accurate but the set as a whole feels so underwelming compared to the previous release, especially the tiny droid rack. The redesigned STAP looks quite nice though. I'm curious whether Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are going to have new alternate faces or whether they'll just reuse the ones from the Gungan Sub with the aqua breathers again.

Someone over at Brickset's forum has a picture featuring both faces of the new Palpatine minifigure. http://www.bricksetforum.com/discussion/14922/next-dk-lego-star-wars-book-the-dark-side

Any sightings of the new X-Men or GOTG sets yet? -
I think the head itself is fine. Its the body thats underscaled. Compared to the original 4483 AT-AT from 2003, the body on the new one is too short and narrow. The legs are also a lot thinner. If they kept the head of the new one but the body proportions of 4483 you'd have the perfect AT-AT.
-
Because they look horrible. I prefer to have proper Lego minifigures done in the style of Oola, Aayla etc.
-
More Twi'leks would be nice. I think the wide variety of colours they come in would make them very interesting minifigures. Some of the ones I would like to see are Ann/Tann Gella (TPM), Lyn Me (ROTJ Special Edition) and Darth Talon (EU).

The officer in the trailer is Agent Kallus, who I believe is one of the recurring villains on the show. I think there's a good chance we'll see him show up along with the Inquisitor next year. I would like to see more named Imperial Officers in future sets like Ozzel, Needa, Jerjerrod, Motti etc.
-
Same here. The build for the Clone Wars version was perfect but I prefer the tan colours of the Episode I version. If we don't get one this year then hopefully it will show up somewhere in the next two waves. Once Episode VII hits the chances for more PT sets will be slim to none.

The last AAT came with 7 figures (Clone Trooper, Yoda, 2 Battle Droids and 3 Super Battle Droids)
