I hope not. We already got Frodo, the Ringwraiths and their steeds in the Weathertop set. Aside from Arwen what can the set really offer us? I rather get a battlepack for the same price instead and just toss Arwen in a Rivendell set.

Asajj Ventress and Aurra Sing would be nice, but I rather Aurra's eyes were like the new ROTS Anakin rather than the design from the TCW video game. Something about the eye shadow doesn't look right on her. Any of the Jedi from the prequels would be good too. I'm hoping we'll see a couple when AOTC and ROTS 3D hit theatres. Don't really care about the clones since I only display them with their helmets on anyway.

X-Mansion - Playset similar to the last Hogwarts Castle. Can be expanded upon with smaller Danger Room sets. X-Jet - The "Millennium Falcon" of the superhero line. Should be big, swooshable and fit plenty of minifigures inside. Sentinel - Brick built and fully articulated. Other sets related to the Shiar Empire, Savage Land, Weapon X, Asteroid M or the Hellfire Club would be cool as well but those 3 should be the top priority. As for minifigures, I don't mind who comes in what set as long as we get the following: Prof X Cyclops Storm Jean Grey (or Phoenix) Gambit Rogue Beast Nightcrawler Colossues Iceman Shadowcat Emma Frost Mystique Sabertooth Mr Sinister Apocalypse Juggernaught

I don't think it will be that difficult. Rather than have the helmet on its own we'll probally get a detailed piece where its sculpted onto the hood. Kind of like the Jack Sparrow hairpiece with the hat/bandanna. That said I'm looking forward to the day when he and Eowyn come in the inevitable fell beast set. I think a blonde version of the Elizabeth Swann hair would be perfect for her.

The great part about getting a Lego Saruman means an updated Count Dooku can't be far behind

If we get a Flying Dutchman I hope it comes with a pirate version of Elizabeth Swann. I was a bit disapointed she got left out of the Black Pearl.

I wouldn't worry about the ladies. Lego randomly threw Amidala in the Sith Infiltrator set this year and the Gungan Sub next year. I'm sure they can fit Arwen in somewhere. Galadriel has the advantage of being the only female to appear in both the LOTR trilogy and the Hobbit films. Plus Eowyn is pretty much inevitable - whether its her confrontation with the Witch-King, the Golden Hall, the Rohirim campsite, the warg attack or another Helms Deep set.

Think of it this way - by saving the rancor for another set in the future, not only do we get Oola/Boussh/Salacious Crumb next year but it leaves the door open for other exclusive Jabba's Palace characters like Malakili or the Max Rebo band down the road.

Really love the new Gungan Sub. Much sleeker than the original version and it looks like we're FINALLY getting a jedi padawan hairpiece for Obi-Wan! The palace I'm very happy with. The throne room looks well designed and we're actually getting an exterior this time. And I'm glad we didn't get a rancor or droid dungeon this time around. Save them for a future expansion. Jedi Starfighter isn't bad but the new cockpit looks a bit odd. I'm really hoping Even Piell's head isn't rubber. Soft plastic fine, but not rubber.

Despite these being preliminary pics a lot of the sets certainly turned out better than expected - especially Helms Deep, Moria and the Uruk Hai/Rohirim battlepack. Although the lack of Merry and Pippin makes me wonder if the Orc Forge is indeed an Isengard set from the ending of TTT? The set number does come after Helms Deep implying its a larger set rather than an impulse. Perhaps a brick built Treebeard and collapsable machinery of sorts? It would also be a good way to get Saruman and Wormtongue.

This is fantastic news! Hopefully the Mines of Moria and Helms Deep are getting the Hogwarts/Hoth treatment with multiple sets down the line rather than just the one. I'm really hopeful for some battle packs too. Like Star Wars the different armies played a big part in the trilogy. As for the minifigures my predictions are: 9469 Gandalf Arrives Frodo (Shire) and Gandalf the Grey. Possibly Bilbo as well. 9470 Shelob Attacks Frodo (Shelob's Lair) Sam and Gollum. Shelob will be brick built. 9471 Uruk-hai Army Hard to tell based on the vague set name. If its from the ending of FOTR then Boromir and Lurtz, if its from TTT then Merry and Pippin. 1-2 Uruk Hai thrown in on top. 9472 Attack on Weathertop Aragorn (Strider) and some Ringwraiths. Possibly Arwen since there's not many other sets that could include her, and because we probably won't see many females in this line. 9473 The Mines of Moria Gimli, cave troll, 1-2 goblin orcs and either Merry/Pippin/Boromir depending on who's in the Uruk Hai set. 9474 The Battle of Helm's Deep Aragorn (Helms Deep) Legolas, King Theoden and a mix of Rohirim and Uruk Hai. The new Harley looks fantastic! I'm not too keen on Catwoman's updated face though. The purple lipstick looks odd and blends in too much with the mask. Red would've been much better.

I got a question - if I had a misprinted head that I wanted replaced, does Lego usually just send a new one the same way they do missing parts or would I have to send the original piece back first?

My guess is Lando, Han and one other figure. The rest will show up in the palace set since it seems Lego is trying to flesh out as much of the main cast as possible (this year alone we already got all the Hoth, A New Hope and Phantom Menace characters and we're one figure away from completing the Medal Ceremony trio)

Thanks for the pics. Love the look of the new Y-Wing and the cannon is a huge improvement over the old one that came with the original Geonosian Fighter. Leia, Gree, the Geonosians and the yellow astromech all look fantastic, and although I like Barris's new body and dark blue cloak I think I'm going to switch heads with the old figure.

It also looks like the hairpiece has sideburns in the Mustafar pic. The CW figure didn't have any.

The Felucian Fighter could always be from an upcoming Clone Wars episode.
