From what we know so far, it is based on the Battle of Pelennor fields. But it will contain only 3 minifigs… but we can always dream right? :) -

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not really into bulky armor. I don't even like the Dragonborne Paladin armor as much as everyone else seems to. It just doesn't look that good to me, and it makes the minifig look kinda weirdly bulky. -

They are definitelly not better than their original Lego counterparts. Its a cheap knockoff… sorry. But that doesent mean that Lego isnt greedy woth their current politics, locking up these desireble and long awaited figs behind riddicullous paywall… -

You mean that Koruit “Lego” Gondorian soldiers are superb? These…https://customizeminifiguresintelligence.wordpress.com/2018/12/11/quick-review-of-koruit-lotr-gondor-knight-minifigures/ ??? LOL 😂😂😂😂😂 -

It is the most complex and sophisticatwd build Ive wver done, sure. But Rivendell is still a best set I ever had and that Lwgo ever released. For me. Its really frustrating that gondor soldiers are locked behind this expensive paywall… I would love to have more of them, at least 4 more… -

Yes, it's nice what you write, but I don't question this at all. I'm just saying that in the photo, the large army of orcs in front of the walls of Minas Tirith looks strange because the facade of the city is microscale... That's all. -

I love the new Sea Serpent. Figs are great, I expect nothing more. Zelda shield is weird. But its casued by its shape… New logo is awesome. Hipe for full Black Knight Castle soon :) -

This way of displaying MT just makes the set look even smaller and out fo scale… It works woth few guards on lowest wall, but thats it. With army kike that outside the gates, it is just too small… -

Depends... :) Printed cloth sail and printed shield should be a basic standard, since we are talking of a redesigredesign/remaken / remake of the old classic set. I am glad that Lego will apparently hold to that. The only question is, wheter the currrent torsos can represent a Black knight faction? Is the Griphon Knight torso allright? Its moslty silver and dark red, so the colour scheme doesn't resemble the original scheme of Black knights. What else do we have...? So... if Lego chooses to do this set right, they will come up with at least one newly printed torso which could be universally used (such as printed breastplate or scale mail on classic red or black torso). If not, we get some mix of existing otrsos (Griphon Knight as a most probable addept) and thats it.... -

So.. Mumakil. What are the odds that this set includes Theoden, Eowyn and Whitch King? ;) Yeah, I thought that Whitch King and Eowyn belongs to the Minas Tirith set, and voilá! They are not there. And no orc eithet (if you dont count Grond GWP). And, its not just about new parts for Uruks. There would be new parts for Rohirim, possibly Aragorn (Anduril), Haldir etc… Based on previous sets, how many new molds did we get? In Minas Tirith, only helmets for soldiers and crown/hair mold for Aragorn. In Barad Dur? Sauron and his Mouth helmets and pack of orc helmets (and Gollum), in Shire? Nothing… so… -

2 elven soldiers in Helms Deep? Oh please... :D That requires a new mold for the helmet and new prints for torso and legs... I guess that we get Haldir at max. Regarding the Uruk-Hai, I am not sure whether they will be included...I would love to have them, but then again, new molds for helmets, new prints... So Theoden, Éomer, Éowyn in her dress, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, and a few soldiers of Rohan (like Gamling and 2 warriors) is the more realistic approach. I guess new Helmets for Théoden and Éomer, Gamling will be without helmet, and regular soldiers with viking helmet (reuse of already existing mold) with possible unique print...Aragorn in his traditional brown outfit, Gimli in chainmail (please!), and Legolas with his light armour. That's enough novelty based on experience with other LOTR sets... -
