  1. Wasn't the idea that using the old Dino molds were so the sets didn't have to end up as expensive? Because as it stands the set prices ranges from quite normal (Indominus Breakout) to absurdly overpriced (75917) The sets aren't that appealing. No herbivores, and I've never been a big fan of the big molded creatures, and the builds are pretty poor, from the gigantic truck in 75917 to the rehashed Triceratops trapper in 75918 and the polybag helicopter in 75919. I do have to say that the jeep in 75916 looks pretty good, and I would buy a JP-version of it at overpriced RRP.
  2. I went ahead and got a few sets from S@H to get the poster and Yularen. Frankly, I do not like to buy stuff from S@H since their pricing is rather high, you can always find the sets for atleast 20 % cheaper elsewhere (including S@H's current 10 % off) That said, I justified the buy by getting 1 exclusive set and 2 small ones, 75085 Hailfire Droid, 75080 AAT and 75079 Shadow Troopers.
  3. Because it's Pengiuns ride, and Penguins = cold the real question is why LEGO gives him duck vehicles instead of penguin ones.
  4. 1. The Winter Soldier 2. Iron Man 1 3. GotG 4. Avengers 5. Captain America. The FIrst Avenger AoU is right below them.
  5. How come? I think it looks terrific, frankly the only thing the UCS has going is size, and that's both a positive and negative.
  6. I agree. Tough I like the Iron Spider, it's a shame that Sandman is partially sandcoloured, and Rhino is just the worst. And his mech looks bad too, I don't know what the guy who said it was MOC tier was on! And the set itself just looks junioriz3d, with huge pieces everywhere.
  7. I have to say that I'm kinda disappointed. Without going into spoilers, this movie feels very generic, like a TV episode, the conflict appears and is resolved all in the movie. The Avengers was beautifully led up and connected all the way trough phase 1, the tesseract being a big part of Captain America the first Avenger, Loki already being established in Thor. Meanwhile it's kinda weird going from Iron Man destroying all his suits in his third movie to this, and GOTG and Captain America: The Winter Soldier really didn't set up anything for this (except the mid-credits scene in TWS) It's farly standard superhero schlok. It's well-made, with some fun one-liners, good action but without any depth. Ultron is so incredibly snarky that he doesn't feel like a threat to me, he's more like a megalomaniac clown. And then his evil plan is probably the most dangerous to humanity so far in the MCU. There's a bit too many subplots, some which are wrapped up too fast. But there's good parts too. Everyone talks about how Hawkeye is the best, but I liked Paul Bettanys Vision the most, he's brilliant. I also really liked Elisabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, we needed a superpowered female in the sausage fest. It never reaches the hype level of Avengers, but I expected that.
  8. Absolutely awesome! I've actually been planning on doing something like this myself. If I were to suggest an addition I would get a Quicksilver and use some trans-bricks to make a speed effect after him and have some ultron drones fly in the air besides him
  9. This sounds great, LEGO Friends is very stereotypically girlish, Elves were a big step in a different direction and hopefully this will be too. I mean, I don't think we'll get "Supergirl and Poison Ivy gets their hair done at Gotham Hair" I suppose it'll be Minidolls, and it's a shame since I'd gladly buy sets if it were minifigs - the superhero line is a total sausuage fest. Well, LEGOs loss.
  10. Accuracy of sets are very good actually, excellent in fact, only thing I can spot is that the vehicle in the Army Pack wasn't in the movie. Still, nowhere close to Mandarin's Flamethrower Go-Cart.
  11. BrotherhoodWorkship did the first Age of Ultron-trailer in LEGO, it's amazing!
  12. Teaser is out, lovely design on the new Stormies
  13. I agree, he looks naked.
  14. Did you guys see the new clip with the Hulkbuster in action? I really think it shows how nicely sized the set really is
  15. I will definitively buy a pack or two if they come with some new characters, I will not however get the old ones since a minifig and 50 pieces for 15 bucks is way too expensive!
  16. I don't think so. There's a very obvious difference between the Ultron shown in the later trailers and tv spots compared to the one from the first trailer. And I'm sure that he won't have 4 forms - 3 is already alot for a single movie, especially with all the other stuff with QS/SC, Vision, etc. However by looking at the minifigures, and basing this on the quick shot of molten metal on a robotic arm in the first trailer, I do believe that Ultimate Ultron simply is Ultron Prime coated in Vibranium.
  17. Please remember, Adamantium is Fox stuff, It's Vibranium in the movie.
  18. 3. MK1, Prime and Ultimate Ultron. There's 4 versions both in the movie and in LEGO if you count the Ultron Sentries, too.
  19. No, we're only getting three Ultrons, that's the same one. I mean, we're gonna get an Ultimate Ultron with and without Vibranium, but they're still the same form.
  20. If that was the case then it's just incredibly lazy, since Gallimimus are nowhere near small dinosaurs (being as long as 26 ft and over 6 ft tall at the hips) Really this is just a big fail on LEGO's part, F go home and reconsider.
  21. So how do you guys feel about the 2015 Quinjet compared to the 2012? Just from the pics it looks slightly small and disappointing, local toys r us has a 25 % off all Avengers sets so I was thinking about picking it up (along with another 5 or so army builders)
  22. I finally got the Battle of Five Armies set, which means I now own atleast one of every Middle-Earth set. Whew! Finally done, maybe bricklinking a few more army building figs but otherwise I'm finished.. Time to focus my wallet on Marvel Superheroes.
  23. My opinion is on the other end, I feel like the Jurassic World theme is really, really bad, one of the worst licensed themes we've gotten. Sure if you like the big, boring plastic molded dinosaurs then you're in for a treat but if not we just get expensive sets with lackluster builds. However one thing that I absolutely love is that there's several colored minifigs in this theme, a very good thing.
  24. Too bad there isn't an issue of gigantic megablocks in the news rack. EDIT: A$$es turns into megablocks, interesting..
  25. I can't believe we're getting a Duff Beer Can. LEGO pushing their own boundaries?
