  1. The figs are fine, but the google-y eyes look awful. I prefer the shimmer-y eyes with no distinct pupils.
  2. I love them. That fort is great, and as you said, it does really give a change of pace from the usual square forts (Zcerebus' Fort Brighton is another.) I love the shipwreck, it's just great and packed full of details! Keep 'em commin'!
  3. Good article, but the modern set you mentioned is CAFE CORNER, not MARKET STREET.
  4. This was on my nightly news yesterday, but I didn't post as I couldn't find pictures. Of course, I had a little hissy fit when the reporters said: "LEGOS" and "LEGO people"
  5. At this point, I'm only reader (I was killed on day 2)
  6. Me too. Sorry about that.
  7. Ummm... pardon? Though, reading the mayors posts, it becomes more and more obvious. Here's to Carter executing him then being executed himself. EDIT: This is not an attempt to influence the game, just me voicing a hunch I have.
  8. I celebrated it by talking normally, while everyone else made fools of themselves. For various reasons, I think that shouting "ARR" all day is stupid, and I am against the romanticizing of pirates, for various reasons.
  9. What precisely, is the "Creative Critic" award for? critiquing someone's MOC? Reveiwing a set in a different way? Come on!
  10. I think it was retarded, in the good way. Most sets are mainly just figs, and two accessories. The good thing about it is, that means that figs and accessories are easier to get ahold of for people like me with only one Fabuland figure but want more.
  11. Fair enough. But you should at least rent it, it's worth it. Here's a trailer:
  12. Well, like this: I was voted off, and the Mayor shot me. Now, all are ganging up on the mayor, he'll be executed, his executor will be ganged up on. Beisides, Florence was killed on a night when no execution had been agreed upon. Now, I realize there are night actions.
  13. I know it isn't. With the ride's track curves, it would never fit in a ouse of PM's size. I mean putting the rooms/scenes from the ride in as though it was a real house.
  14. Todays game as been interesting. Why, though, is Florence allowed to return as a ghost? I'm assuming it's a plot point, as you decided that she would die on the first night. Ah well, based on the way this is going, the players are going to vote someone off, then, the person who executes the voted off person will be executed, etc. EDIT: This isn't an attempt to influence the game, I'm just pointing out a trend.
  15. The captain grows ficuses aboard his ship, as they really like the caribbean sun!
  16. Well, there's nothing wrong with your theories save for: 1. Bonaparte's main infantry lines are all smileys 2. Bonaparte is from Belgium, not from Salisbury, UK 2. Bonaparte has mentioned he doesn't really want to armybuild with the new torsos, as they don't appear to be very accurate.
  17. All these sets are over priced. All in all, I think I'll buy about 100 of the impulses, then buy 2 of the tricorne officers and one of the bicorne officers. After playing an old computer game called "American Conquest" I've been inspired to for real build an army. The tricorne officers would be drummers and flag carriers and the bicorne officers would be... officers. Then put them in a huge square formation with the officers and drummers in the middle. Maybe I'll build two armies NEW WORLD CONQUEST ON!
  18. Oh, I thought there was a flood.
  19. I was also going to say that in addition to dark gray, using tiles and 90 degree angle modified bricks. And it seems that we have another HM fan. I do sometimes sraw and above veiw of some of the HM's and PM. The good thing is, there's no definet floor plan, as the facade, even if it was real and to scale, the curves and angle of the HM track is impossible. The good thing is, on most of the facades, there's one wall that we don't see, and hence, things like WDW'sm music room could feasibly on the back wall. I'd just lay out the rooms that we see in the attraction in a way that works.
  20. Hmm... Then Adam, can we have your solemn pledge that you won't post unnessecary crap like: Ads for Kerdl Shampoo (or whatever) Or "Billary Clinton" images? Thanks.
  21. Well... Osprey Publishing has a good series on the uniforms of the Napoleonic wars. I have their "Nelson's Navy" book in front of me, but it only goes from 1794 to 1813. The list of books in the back doesn't appear to have early 18th century uniforms, but they could have it elsewhere. Beware, though, I got mine from a library, as it's about $16-$20 for books that only last about 60-70 pages.
  22. I like it. It looks a bit empty in the middle, which bothered me. I made mine inaccurate by removing the carrying handle (worthless) and adding red armor plates and a hatch (a round plate from the At-ST set). It should be some sort of rubber under-armor type thing, but whatever. I'm not sure about the way it angles while climbing, and I'm not sure that AT-TEs could realistically do that. Also, I'm sure that this thread's subtitle couldn't be taken in a wrong way at all. No sir...
  23. Thanks. As to your preformance in Roman Mafia. Even if I had, you pulled it off better in RM, what with your Oscar Wilde-ish wit and great sense of humor.
  24. Well, I suppose. But, have you ever heard the Shel Silverstein poem (I beleive it's called) "The Magic Fish." Here's a summary: A little boy catches a fish, and the fish says that he is magic and will make all the boy's dreams come true. The boy lets the fish go, and of course, the fish lied. He escapes. The boys catches the fish later. As you might tell, if some one is pleading for their life, you may not nessecarily take what they say as the truth. And, as for hinting at it. That's a sorta hit-miss thing. I.e. "I can help find the baritones!" Well, that could be taken as "AHA! That clever bastard, he's a Baritone for sure, allright. Trying to get the attention away from him. He's getting my vote." It'd been better to admit it, but alas, people say anything (See article: "MAGIC FISH") Ah well, good luck to ya, suckers! :skull:
