    Modular Western Town

    Bonaparte
    By Bonaparte,

About a week ago Eurobricks, Brickset and several other LEGO fan sites started supporting a Modular Western Town on CUUSOO. This helped a lot as more than 2000 votes were added, now reaching a bit more than 4000 in total. The Minecraft community managed to gather behind one MOC and push it to the required 10,000 in a short time and I'm sure that we, the real LEGO fans

:classic: , can do the same. If you didn't yet VOTE please do so now.

But maybe more important is sharing this MOC via your Facebook/Twitter pages and encouraging your friends to help out. You can do this by clicking like.jpg (->next you get the option to share on Facebook) and tweet.png right under the vote counter. I had a look at the projects that are doing really well (and those reaching 10,000 votes) to find out they had massive support via Facebook and/or Twitter so that seems to be an important factor.

    ww.jpg

The creator of the MOC (Marshall_Banana) has added a poll in our forums where you can vote for your favorite building. The building that comes first out of the poll will be recommended to LEGO to be produced first - we're thinking big and hope the success of the first one will convince LEGO to release them all over time.

    Modular Western Town

    Bonaparte
    By Bonaparte,

Some time ago marshal_banana won our Spaghetti Western competition with a stunning (modular) Western Town.

He's now doing pretty well on CUUSOO, so let's help him make the 10.000 votes for this MOC to be considered by LEGO for production. Who wouldn't a new Western Theme that comes with a Western Town where each house can be bought as an individual set?

Wanna help out and remind LEGO how much we want Western to return? Go here on CUUSOO to cast your vote!

EDIT: And now Brickset is teaming up with Eurobricks to see if we can get this to LEGO Review status at Cuusoo by achieving 10000 supporters. If the Minecraft community can do it for their chosen model, so can the online LEGO community! VOTE NOW!!!

EDIT2: There's Gambort joining our little experiment on The Brothers Brick

EDIT3: More sites in the LEGO community are supporting: Toys N Bricks, Classic-Town and Railbricks.

EDIT4: Our very own Classic-Pirates and Star Wars Blog both jumped on the train!

EDIT5: 2500 supporters reached - Lets see if we can do that number x4 :sweet:

    EDIT6: 3000+ supporters reached!

If there are other communities out there willing to support, your help is much appreciated!

    Maersk Madness Winners!

    WesternOutlaw
    By WesternOutlaw,

    gallery_174_77_314828.jpg

Sometimes contests at Eurobricks are not just about building the most incredible MOC, especially of the LEGO Train variety. This past weekend, EB LEGO Train fans participated in a different type of contest based on photography. In a fun and entertaining topic called Maersk Madness, LEGO Maersk owners had the opportunity to photograph their official LEGO Maersk Train and share their image in a "most unique and interesting" photograph contest. As always, the quality of the entries were superb and after EB members cast their votes for best LEGO Train image, the winners were awarded an exclusive LEGO Maersk blue EB Train Tech tag.

Congratulations to EB's LEGO Maersk Train photograph winners!

    First Place: Woolie (Night Shot)

Second Place: Vlai23 (Mad Tea Party)

    Third Place: Wondermonkey (Beach Scene)
