  1. At the end of last year i was very honest that the best and biggest shipyard in the world Royal Feadship ask me to build a big model and a set of one of their new build yacht; My Kiss. I had only 2,5 month for both project's. One week before the deadline the two project's where ready and deliverd at the yard in Aalsmeer and the projectmanager was very pleased. This project was very difficault because i haved to buildt it only from drawings and renders, also the building style where complete new for me . End of this month this model will stand in the great new book from Dennis Glaasker and Dennis Bosman. The real Kiss is now sailing to Monaco and is nominated for best ship in there class at the Monaco Yacht show 2015(23 to26 september) and mine model is standing with proud on the real one . In this topic i will give you a glimp how i build this model . This is the real Kiss at their launching party on 14 februari 2015 at the yard Royal The Vries and mine family and JunkstyleGio where there as quest. Soooooo enough information and here is the start of the model . First start was the bow and the most difficult one. After building the bow the idea's came quickly and the progress grow's every day. This enough for today and hope you like it . Greetings Edwin and stay tuned for the rest of it .
  2. Hello everyone, I'd like to share with you my new WIP MOC, which is the six waggon double-deck electric motor unit of Westbahn, the Stadler KISS (or it the type's former name, Dosto). I designed this train using my Stadler FLIRT modell's nose, but completely changed the other parts. The KISS trains has normal waggons, while FLIRTs do have Jacobs-boogies, and three waggon of KISS is 75 metres long, as one four-section FLIRT-train. I've only designed the first (and last waggon), with detailed interior, of course. For indoor lights, front-tail lights there are designed free spaces, but I'm afraid I'll never face the problem, hiding all the PF wires without consuming space from the passangers because of the cost of such a train*. (*Of course, if anyone wants to sponsor this train, don't hesitate to contact me :D ) An overall LDD-picture: And you can find more details following these URLs (pictures are wider than allowed sizes for the EB forums): http://www.brickshel...KISS/wip_08.png http://www.brickshel...KISS/wip_09.png http://www.brickshel...KISS/wip_10.png http://www.brickshel...KISS/wip_11.png I guess the whole trains weight will be around 6 kilogramms, so a really clever solution for driving it will be needed, if ever built. The waggons with driver cab will could have a 9V train motor, and a PF train motor connected to it, and maybe one or two middle waggons should be powered like this. But more than 800 mA will be needed to drive it, so special speed regulator can't be avoided.

    (LDD)(MOC) Stadler KISS

Hello all It's been some time since EB Member Ashi Valkoinien posted his version of this train, view his topic here:http://www.eurobrick...=103708&hl=kiss I also built one, since these trains are running also in Switzerland and I use them quite regularly. Ashi's train and mine are basically the same, except for the livery, however the building technics are very different as you will seee on the pictures. As every double-deck train in Switzerland (and west-Europe I guess) the upper part of the train is kind of round and creating curves with LEGO bricks is sometimes difficult. However with the new 1 x 2 x 2/3 I managed to come up with a good solution. The front was also challenging because the SBB livery contains two red stripes which make a "V-shape" on the front but with some SNOT building it looks quite acceptable. Here are some LDD screenshots: Stader KISS cab car by StefanEris, on Flickr KISS Front by StefanEris, on Flickr KISS building technic by StefanEris, on Flickr Stadler KISS (RABe 511) by StefanEris, on Flickr There are no pantographs because they would be a pain to build with the LDD. You also might notice a small hole on the front part, thats because the 1 x 2 tile, which should be there, cannot be attached to the brick with the stud on one side. (Well, it could be attached, but only on certain positions.) Critics and comments are welcome Stefan
