If You Were to Helm a Cinematic Universe, Reboot, or Adaptation, How Would You Direct It?
Digger of Bricks posted a topic in Culture & Multimedia
If there a Cinematic Universe based upon a particular franchise you'd like to see adapted, or aren't pleased with the direction it is currently going? Is there a book, graphic novel, or series of novels you'd love to see come to the big screen? Is there a movie you think deserves a new remake or reimagining? Is there a cinematic adaptation of a certain source material you think would perhaps instead be better suited for the small screen, as a TV show or Mini-Series? If you have any better ideas on how Hollywood can handle adapting some of your favorite books, movies, graphic novels, videogames, and more, these are only a few questions to help express your opinions on what you would do instead! -
The Lich "Liches are spellcasters who seek to defy death by magical means. A mage becomes a lich by means of necromancy, using a magical receptacle called a Phylactery to store the lich's soul. The process is often described as requiring the creation and consumption of a deadly potion, the Elixir of Defilation, which is to be drunk on a full moon. They are often found at the top of the hierarchy of necromancers, and in the minds of many, they are best left to tales and myths, for fear of their existence and deeds is rampant within certain circles, especially there where rumours of rising dead escalate. But plenty of unlucky ones have and will come to see what truth lies behind these tales and rumours..." The third in my series of medieval fantasy scenes. Number four will be a follow-up to this and will appear later today. Comments appreciated! ~ GM

Thought I'd start a "fun" topic. What is your favourite film(s)? My personal favourite is the 1968 Planet of the Apes - classic film, have seen it close to 6 times now. Love the story, the twist, the Charlton Heston-ing. Bravo to my favourite character of all time... DR. ZAIUS!
