  1. Hi everyone, now I want to show you my Minas Morgul project. I hope you enjoy. ;-) (click on the main image to get to my project on ideas.lego.com) Please click on the images to see the lager version. You can see more images of this project (and my other projects) on my flickr page. Functions: This mighty fortress includes 2.603 bricks. The inner part of the fortress, the bridge with the 2 staues and the ramp can be removed. You can connect the ramp with the fortress. There are 4 catapults on wall and they have many ammunition. My thought is that the green transparent bricks on the wall, will glow in the dark. The bricks could look like white bricks at daylight. (like the spiders of mirkwood does) There is the throne of the Witch king inside the tower. Weapons, armor and some magic potion are placed in the tower. Figures: Frodo Baggins Samwise Gamgee Gollum the Witch-king of Angmar 1 Fell-beast Gothmog the lieutenant of Minas Morgul 5 Morgul-orcs @all viewers: Now it's up to you. Vote for my project and make the dream come true. Please look at my other projects, sare these with your friends and support these. [MOC] Frodo's Choice

This was a back-up entry to the Middle Earth LEGO Olympics on MOCpages. I built it before hand just in case the entry I actually submitted (which you can see here: http://www.eurobrick...00#entry2103221) didn't work out. :) The category is to take a song from the Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit movies (this one being "May It Be," which is played during the credits in Fellowship of the Ring) and interpret it into a build. I don't really have thoughts on why I chose this scene, other than the fact that whenever I heard the song, this one always came to mind. :)
  3. Here's probably my only entry for Category A: The Missing Set. I chose to do Mount Doom. I'm not really sure why LEGO never did this scene, seeing how it is the most important of the movie. This comes three play features, all coinciding with the movie, as are the minifigure's outfits: Sam's dirty, and without all the equipment printed on his actual, LEGO-made torso, and Frodo's dirty and torn. Setname: 79022 Mount Doom Parts: 201 Minifigures: 3 Price: $24.99 The play features, like a handle for Frodo to hold onto. A lever, that if you pull... ...this will happen. And finally, a launcher that fires, well... fire. ;)
