This is just in LDD now, but I hope I can get a Bricklink order going soon. A red classic town factory. This is what I really like. 226_factory.lxf

I'm an AFOL and it doesn't make sense to me. I think I understand what you mean, but not all AFOL's want a 360 model of a building.
-
I rather enjoy the old look, and plan on opening up my three modulars instead. To each their own I guess. That less pieces are needed is a plus. When I opened up one Creator Villa I could almost build another house with the roof slopes and white bricks I removed!

Great review. Looks like a great set for KIDS. One of these sets for the kid, and a modular for the AFOL (you know, like us posting here). Most negative points are stuff I (probably) wouldn't think about at 7-12. I'll try to build a 6394 instead.

A great mix of classic town and realistic looks. Looks great.

Great work! A little dark at times. You obviously know about lighting, in some scenes it's great. Thought about using very small lamps hidden in the set just to get some silhouettes? I look at all these movies and want to do the same, then think about the time needed, and all my other interests, then settle with watching others movies instead.

n/a - Red Factory - Idea Book #226, pag 37 It's not for sale, but it's original LEGO. This was very fun and inspiring. It'll be a great add to my future town. Hope someone will enjoy it! /Johan Changes: -antenna, winch, furnace doors, three doors, hook and attic window substituted with similar lookin -furnace doors are too big to open, can't find anything that works -walls are built so it works, since there's no instructions exactly what bricks should be used -wires not included -no vehicle and only one minifig 226_factory.lxf Edit: fixed image- 5035 replies

Great review! I'm getting one of these, and have to look into the other Friends houses.

Let's share our funny interesting photos!

So, anybody creating another thread for CMF-pictures that aren't funny and interesting, just focused on the CMF's? -

After having looked at most photos in these and other minifig threads, I had to give it a shot. Got 20 bags of series 5-6-7 today. No points for second place. Fine meat. Why do I always have to be in the middle? possible NSFW or NSFchildren... It's just a minifigure, and it's nothing you won't see on HBO... -
Wagons and train related sets, with wagons in them. Like the old times. There's a thread somewhere about it. Got stuck (thanks internet!) reading posts in the Train section and had to see who you are.

Getting distracted I decided to build two vehicles from an old inspiration book I have. The cover is missing so I don't know which one it is, but I'm sure the forum will tell me. I got most pieces correct, the only major one is the hinge which is black instead of read. A nice build at eleven pm...
-
Thankyou, now I can get the missing pages, a couple in the middle as well, printed out.
-
Some of you expert-MOCers are just awesome on getting it like the real thing.

Hello I have a couple of old sets, Basic, Town, Train and Space, that I'd like to share with the forum. And new ones of course. Most reviews I read here are fun and interesting to read and view, even if I have the sets since long myself, and I want to add to this forum with even more reviews. Access requested.

Great review! I own this set, off Epay when I left the dark ages. Didn't know that it was such a huge set until now.

I'm so envious of you who have the patience to do these animations. THat was very cool. Especially the autiomatic firing.

It's my name, and family names first letter. This forum is mature, so I don't really feel like I need to hide and be anonomys like I do on other forums.

hehehe. Nicely done Dennimator. Love the weddingphoto.

Which movies can you watch over and over again?
Johan J replied to Bobskink's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I'll go out on a limb and not name any actionmovies, simply because even if I CAN watch them over and over, I don't. The ones I DO, are: -Love actually -40 year old virgin (kind of about me, so...) -Notting Hill -Lost in Translation -The Longest Yard (the Adam Sandler version) -Yes man -
I think I'll buy one and save it for my neices 4th birthday. (and get one for myself....)
